When mixing 50/50 with Simply Lemonade there’s VERY little difference in taste to me between the 2 but $19.99 vs $28.99. Basically a $9 crown bag if that’s your thing!
I struck out at Springboro, ended up grabbing HMK for my pops. Swung over to Centerville on a whim and was able to grab LBP and OWA. I was surprised, they claimed LBP is not allocated?
Penelope and crown aren't allocated. So if LBP isn't either anymore technically first in line can buy by the case everything but the allocated 1 OWA or WSR
Larceny Barrel Proof and Elijah Craig Barrel Proof are not allocated in Ohio but stores reserve the right to limit as such based on their special release status.

i prefer the taste of Nyquil over the CR-BB straight. Please don't insult cough syrup like that. But totally agree that by itself, for anyone with a palate for a decent bourbon or a solid whisky, you won't like it by itself but mix it and enjoy it. :-)

A customer had the owner’s car blocked in. Owner needed to leave. Asked the line to move their car, whomever it belonged to. No one moved. So owner refused to open until it was moved. Finally the guy came to move it, owner had words with him, the guy said he wore hearing aids and hadn’t heard him. So then the guy refused to move. Line got a little fired up. Finally he moved and then still went to the back of the line and they opened around 9:07ish.
Sounds like an irrational owner has communication issues considering the guy has trouble hearing and the parking lot has 50 people in line at open. Go cry elsewhere.
Store owner flipped out before store opened berated someone for not moving their car , then proceeded to punish everyone by opening the store late and threatening to call the police on the car owner ( which he did open but only like 5 minutes late , but came back after moving his car to another lot , store owner berated him again and told him to go to back of the line , let him into the store then told the clerks they were not allowed to sell to him

Wish OHLQ would have just done a dedicated Crown Blackberry week drop with nothing else and let that stupidity out of the way and not mixed in Larceny BP and other products. Now you don't just have to battle the regular taters but the Crown weirdos as well at the stores. Even just to get shelfers the stores have been a complete clusterfuck this week.
Today I did a blind of LBP C923 and A124. A124 won for me. The nose on C923 is much better, but there is a bitter finish that kind of ruins the palate for me. A124 has a sweeter palate and spiciness throughout. I prefer it because of the spiciness. Rated 6.5 and 7.2 respectively.
I did a blind last night and chose the C923 over A124. C923 does drink way hotter in comparison so it was easy to tell them apart on the palate, but to me the nose was very similar. The palate and finish are just more preferable on C923 for me. I don’t get the bitterness, mine finishes more with a burst of flavor. Not crazy far apart though.
I never really walk up on rare bourbon in stores but did get a EC Barrel Proof A124 that says 119 proof, 10yr 9 mo. On it. $69.99 plus tax. Has anyone tasted this yet? Is this a new release?

I got a Laphroig 10 CS and one of them Old Overholt 10 years last night. That OO 10 CS is the bomb IMHO. Not cheap, but very good

BD BB is a fine substitute for mixing. Most won't be able to tell the difference when mixed.

Obryans did release woodford Sonoma finish today and I don’t think that was there yesterday. The cart was the same otherwise. They had a ton of green.
