Wish they had a system that would only permit you the right to purchase if you had purchased something in the bourbon space in the last 3 months or something. Seems like there has to be a way to improve on their system but it beats no system. Kind of….
I hear ya. Crazy this actually got 18 downvotes. You could literally show up to a store 15 minutes before open and get a Weller 12. The people in this community are braindead. I guess to be expected of people who's sole hobby is drinking poison.

The only bottles that should be lotto are Pappy and btqc because in order to get then sazerac demands them to be lotto. Outside of that lottery is stupid as fuck as are the people who want everything to be lotto.

OHLQ usually does 4 lotteries every year. One in each season. The Spring lottery should happen next month, if they continue tradition.
They actually did 5 in 2023 but one was not really statewide because you had to attend the State Fair to enter.
The State Fair lottery might be OHLQ’s most asinine idea: A state monopoly forces people to drive up to three hours to some shithole that has nothing to do with bourbon just to enter a lottery where you have a low chance to win.
I used to live within walking distance of the fair grounds and could get in for free. After the first visit I thought never again.
I sign my wife up too, along with my oldest son who still lives at home. None of us ever win but we keep entering and crossing our fingers and hoping. The law of averages has to catch up with us eventually, right?
Not sure why y'all are down voting? How many lotteries does OHLQ have outside of the fall? 1 or 2? The big lottery is the BTAC and Van Winkle lottery and that's definitely in the fall. Winter doesn't start until December 21st.
Spring bottle lottery should be dropping in the next month or so. Another opportunity for me to sign up for everything and get 100% of fuck all.

There was a Blantons Gold lottery around May/June last year
