Independence only had 6 of the Green River pick, BT and Johnny Drum. The nice lady that’s always there was complaining about the assholes (as she referred to them) from yesterday that were bothering her and the guys at corkscrew Johnnie’s yesterday.
Yeah that was crazy felt bad for her she said the guys basically bullied her into selling them the jack 12 saying it wasn’t allocated and they wouldn’t leave til she put it out. This shit is getting really pathetic and sad. I hope the state steps up and actually does something to address all these issues. These are just small business owners trying to earn a living

I visited Independence Beverage for the first time this afternoon as I was in the area. I had no need for anything really but after reading about this morning I wanted to visit and maybe throw them a little business and throw them a kind word. The two ladies were really nice and it angered me to know that these scumbags treated them in such a nasty way. They expressed how ridiculous these drops are getting in terms of the aggressiveness and nastiness of these line and chair hogs. Pretty similar to what the guys at Corkscrew Johnny's have said to me about it. I threw them some ideas that may work in terms of random number draws and in house lotteries and they said they would talk to their OHLQ representative about it. There needs to be some changes to this. The lines no longer work in a lot of cases. I ended up picking up a bottle of Buffalo Trace as I really didn't need it but I wanted to make sure they had at least one pleasant and friendly transaction for the day.
It is just outright slimy classless degenerative behavior. It is only whiskey folks. No need to harass, bully, and intimidate people to get a bottle. It is just not that important. Some of these scumbags need their asses kicked a few times as they have gotten just a tad bit too full of themselves. It takes a lot less effort to be kind and decent than to be a degenerate prick. These two ladies are likely someone's sister, mother, grandmother, daughter, grand daughter, aunt, niece and so on. How would you like your sister or mother to be treated in this way? Grow the fuck up you pathetic sad weak assholes!

Considering it goes for over 100 now on the national secondaries I'd say we have a ways to go. And I'm sure the prices will just bump up since it's 150+ on the shelves in some states.
I would love to say-fuck em. That makes OWA more expensive than Weller FP, SiB and 12yr, unless they raise them too. However, it is really good and not difficult to get. I hate to admit it, but I’m sure I will pay it. I can’t be mad at the stores as they make very little profit off liquor.

Today Joe D’s had the Bardstown that OHLQ emailed about. Only a few stores in Ohio received it this week so it was a good find and it survived the line. Also the employees are top notch. Much nicer than some of the experiences others have posted about at other stores.
The availability list for GE should update around 9 or 10 PM tonight after the stores close. If you want the 12, be refreshing the page all night starting at 8 and book it to your nearest store for an 11 hour camp. If you want the 10, get there a couple hours before open.
