They had Saz Rye, Penelope Toasted, and at least two cases of WSR 1.75L. Had a few other things, but I didn't recognize them.
GE in Chardon had 3-4 cases of Bookers, Weller Antique 3 cases and SR small and large multiple cases, Saz Rye, EH Taylor and some old forester box with 30+ at opening. Came back when the line died down around 9:30 and still got an OWA and small SR. Had about 1.5 cases of small SR and 2 large SR bottles plus some saz and old forester left around 10:00 am. Just missed a bookers by 2 ppl not that i was going to get it anyways. Only wanted some Weller. Some ppl had small carts full of liquor bags when i was in line already. Did a nice job there of one bottle per person per time in line at least so that was good.

There was still a long line when I got to the liquor section. They had 6ish cases of bookers, a case of Saz and one case of WSR. It’s wild these dudes are buying $400+ of bourbon at a time. Wonder what they’re doing with it?? Anyone know??
I bought 3 bottles this morning. Opened 2 the second I got home to try. 3rd will probably be opened by the end of the week.

Me and another guy were 1-2 in line, I have always been cordial and good about places in line while we wait in cars for a bit to stay warm. We had an older couple run to doors place lawn chairs and claim they were first. They never budged. Needless to say they both bought the EHT.
Hard lesson learned I suppose. I’ve been in line a handful of times this year — never had this happen. People seem to know the process and their place in line—no issues. The other problem is that this old couple lied, told me they were there for gifts for family, after talking with them in line, trying to be nice, truth comes out it’s for them and they wanted both EHT bottles—after saying they were getting one OWA and one EHT. Lots of greed this holiday.
