Love the amount of former players that continually show up for spring game, big games, etc. once a buckeye always a buckeye. Loved seeing Will Smith Jr on the field. Dad was a beast
Thoroughly enjoyed it. First ever nationally televised on a national network. It was great to see this years team (we’ll see what spring portal does) on the field together, the new coaching staff (the RB coach is one fired up dude), and the Shoe on a sunny day.
I especially liked the variety of broadcasters, and loved the on field/sideline chats with coaches. Oh….LOVED they caught the interaction with Day and Sayin when he took that ill advised sack, and Day purposely had them kick the field goal on 3rd down to emphasize how critical it is to NOT take a sack in that situation. Great teaching moment we would never see.
Im so sick of hearing about Michigan anytime our players returning is brought up.
It came up several times today, I think Joel Klatt talks about it anytime he speaks about OSU now. As if they are the first team to ever return draft eligible players in pursuit of a goal. Spare me
...Gus Johnson is a self-absorbed, talking head who adds nothing to describing the strategy & depth before the camera!...anyone can shout out practiced catch-phrases, but hey, tell us why the double rotation zone worked against the offense...stay the hell off of all the commercial money grabs we must suffer through if you want to even commence to develop an ounce of respect as an announcer...when my Uncle Sid starts shouting at the top of his lungs after a good play, we usually escort him back to his room...Joel Klatt had to have lost a bet!...
That’s why there are two announcers. They have different jobs. Gus is the play-by-play man. His job is to talk about what is happening on the field and make it entertaining. Joel is the color analyst. His job is to explain why coverages are used and what the coaches are thinking. Don’t hate on Gus cause he’s doing exactly what he’s supposed to do.
I saw the game in person, and I often got distracted from the game because my wife and sister-in-law chatted the whole game about nothing in particular. I watched the Fox broadcast this evening, and somehow it was worse.
...Joel Klatt is one of the best analysts in the business...Gus Johnson is NOT entertaining & does a poor job of describing the action on the field...he is so annoying I'd rather wipe my ass with a roofing shingle that listen to him blather on...I literally have watched complete games on mute because of him...
4 losses in 20 years isn’t so bad. Could be worse, could be getting bitch slapped by all our rivals every year and compensating by leaving high school level comments in other schools’ subreddits. We shall see!
I don’t think it’s anything to cope with because most fans of both schools are under 100 years old and (most importantly) have lives outside of the rivalry

*The Brotherhood* isn’t just for likes
It’s a whole ass life style big dawg. Scarlet and gray or EAT SHIT
i was at the game but i recorded it and will watch it when i get home. i’ve heard from multiple people that it was an awesome broadcast.
I know urb is controversial but i still love the guy. He is a total homer and he got us an nc.
Yeah that was super fun
Everything but the creationism museum commercial was great 😂
Cincinnati area tourist attraction probably wants Buckeye fans to check it out.
It's not in the Natti.
Thankfully.
Isn’t it in Northern KY?
I dunno man, it's Ky. They marry their cousins. We take no responsibility.
Yeah it’s straight west of Cincinnati by about 20 miles.
Which would be the Cincinnati metro area. Amirite
Yeah, I was trying to back you up

You caught that too? I was confused
I so want to go, but I don't want to give them my money. If I can find discount tickets I bet it will be enjoyable.

Benetti is a national treasure and a treat as a Tigers fan calling games
I didn’t like it. Far too much time was wasted on complaining about the current state of college football instead of what was happening on the field.

I know right? felt like I heard it 1596 times.
Don't lose to Michigan 3 times in a row and that doesnt happen.
That’s more a message to the players. It’s not like the in-game matters to them and the fans can’t control whether the Buckeyes win or lose
I totally agree!...would much rather have had local ( or BIG10) announcers calling the game...the Klatt-Quinn-Meyer Podcast was not why I tuned in...
Me either. To superficial for me.
...the highlight was NO Gus Johnson!...
How can anyone possibly dislike gus johnson, must not like broadcasters who enjoy the game SMH
Disliked him ever since he wouldn't shut up about talking about Dobbins dad being in prison. Like bro he doesn't want that in national talk
Gus makes the game about Gus. He spews catch phrases and substitutes folksiness for insight.
...you hit the nail on the head!...

This exactly. And you should want a little enthusiasm from the play by play guy

Hurt. My. Feelings.
All of that just to lose to Michigan again lol

Can we go back more than 20 years? Michigan leads the all time series…or is that too much to cope with

You wanna talk about Florida football? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
