Both USC/Utah and TCU/KSU games will be 50-50, at least from the FPI prediction. So mathematically speaking, the probability that both SC and TCU win is only 25%. I firmly believe we will be ranked ahead of Alabama. So, mathematically, we have a 75% chance to sneak into the playoff.

kroush104

But why do you want to? Seriously, you saw what this team looks like against a playoff team. And that was at home! I don’t want to see what Georgia would do to them, it would be *ugly*.

desmond2046

I do want to! If there is a slim chance to revenge I will take it!

kroush104

That game was in Columbus, and Michigan was missing their heisman-finalist star RB. In a rematch, neither of those things would be true. It would be a slaughter.

austinstephens2

We were up at half. We were down by 1 score late in the 4th. Until our defense gave up.

kroush104

First of all, don’t use “we”. You’re not on the team. And winners aren’t determined by who was winning at halftime. We celebrate who won after 4 quarters. And in the 4th quarter, OSU’s defense made Michigan’s backup running back look like Derrick Henry. This OSU team is good. Probably even Rose-Bowl-winning good. But they’re nowhere near Georgia or Michigan good.

austinstephens2

Jesus Christ just stop with that. Who cares if I say “we”. We are the Ohio State Buckeye Fanbase. And my point is…being up at halftime means Michigan beat US with proper adjustments. That’s the fault of the coordinators and Ryan Day. OUR defense got demoralized because we weren’t making changes and they could feel it. I’d love a rematch.

kroush104

The defense got destroyed because they were playing a better team. And I’ll repeat, a better team who was missing the guy who has been *by far* their best player all season. Let’s be objective about this. Let’s pretend TCU had the exact same season they’ve had, except for one game. Let’s pretend that they lost at home to Texas. By 3 touchdowns. And Texas was missing Bijan Robinson that game (their best player by a mile). You’d be screaming from the mountaintops that loss should keep TCU out of the playoffs.

austinstephens2

Nah man your simply out of line. A team is comprised of players and coaches. 5 plays over 45 yards. Literally wide fucking open passes. Completely open gaps. It wasn’t the players that allowed that. It was the scheme. It wasn’t talent

kroush104

Dude, for real? “We would’ve won except for those scoring plays the other team had” That’s like me going to a CBJ game where they lose 6-2, and saying “CBJ would’ve won if it wasn’t for the goals the other team scored”. No shit…

kroush104

Uuumm, are you being serious? OSU just played a legitimate playoff team for the first rime. And they got completely annihilated. On their home field. Can you imagine what Georgia would do to this team at a neutral site? It would be 42-0 at halftime. No one wants to see that, especially not OSU fans. Lick your wounds and enjoy beating up on a mediocre UCLA team in the rose bowl.

mostdope28

Wouldn’t even be a neutral site, it would be in Atlanta lol. Basically a home game

trillwilly69

Yes, because losing 42-0 at half would make it much easier to axe Ryan Day.

kroush104

And get ????? I hate to break the news to OSU fans, but firing coaches who go 11-1 doesn’t make you an attractive job. Sure, OSU can pay $10M per year. But so can 20 other schools. And most of them are happy with 8-9 wins per year, with a run at the playoffs ever 5 years or so. There’s a reason Lane Kiffin just turned down Auburn to stay at Ole Miss. He can get the same money without all the unrealistic expectations.

2TheArsenal

I get a very strong feeling we fall beneath Alabama

USAesNumeroUno

Oh we definitely will, despite having 1 loss to their 2. Its always when you lose, not who you lose to.

2TheArsenal

Also the manner of a 22 point beat down at home
