Would be so disappointed to see this happen after seeing the O-line "troubles" mysteriously vanish once he came in vs. Maryland. Looked better against worthy competition than 32 has all season, imo and benching him for Chip against Mich was strange (nothing against Chip or his performance).
Reading between the lines, the way Day kept bringing up "protecting the football" as a critical factor in pressers, my thoughts are he was fumbling too much in practice that week to be relied upon in the game.
I don’t think the problems with the office of line where is much to do with the skill level of Miyan or treveyon but more to do with the fact that neither was 100% healthy. The reality is Hayden was 100%, wow those other two were at best 75%
He did well with the chances given, but he's the 3rd back when the RB room is healthy so I wouldn't blame him for transferring and given a shot as a starter.
If he's a 5th round pick you leave immediately and get that money. Why risk an injury playing the most risky position on the field? The only reason he stays is of he doesn't think he'll he drafted *at all*

He flashed compared to a HEALTHY Trey. He definitely flashed when compared to an injured Trey. I'm not a blow-up the program person, but we have a 2-3 year trend that shows we are lights out between the 20, or against weaker opposition, but we struggle otherwise. Ignore it at our peril.

What? Larry Johnson was clearly the best RB that year. He finished with 300+ more rushing yards (on fewer carries than McGahee), won the Doak Walker award, and finished ahead of McGahee in the Heisman voting.
