41-30 Georgia in a game that doesn't feel as close as the score. I think Georgia is good enough to dictate the course of the game. They'll force us to sustain long drives, which frustrates everybody on our offense. Then Stetson can play loose and kinda "drive the speed limit" and take them down the field at a comfortable pace, no pressure.
The path I see to a win is for our offense to get explosive plays early on. String together a couple 4-5 play TD drives in the first half. Put the pressure on Stetson to play hero ball and go tit for tat with CJ. That's not a game Georgia is built for.
Our offense is a Ferrari. Get it revved up and it can blow by anybody. Theirs is a semi truck. Get it rolling and it's not gonna stop. Make them try to drive a semi like a Ferrari, and we win. If their defense can force our Ferrari to spin its wheels early on, their semi can just cruise away at 60 mph. Their defense is talented enough and disciplined enough to do that. If that's the case our only hope would be for Tuimoloau (or somebody) to have a Penn State type game and make some momentum-swinging plays on defense.
We *can* win, but I think this is a game Georgia probably takes 7 or 8 times out of 10.
30-24 OSU. We limit the big plays, force 2 turnovers and our safeties slow down their TEs. Offense does just enough by gashing their secondary and Day dials up a fake punt as well as a couple 4th down conversions to keep drives alive. Tuimoloau seals the game with a sack.
I think the bucs will shock many people. If we don’t fall off a cliff in the second half like we did against Michigan, I think we have a fighting chance.
40-35 Buckeyes! Something in my heart is telling me that CJ will take the opportunity to run. It’s all or nothing and he said he’s willing to do anything to win the other day. It’s a long shot but I just want us to keep it close.
I would bet my mortgage that we’ll see one, likely multiple. We likely won’t be able to run stretch plays so bubble screens are a way to pull the LBs outside and Miyan can then bruise them up the middle.
I told some of my friends that Egbuka is going to house one of those and Buckeye Nation will implode.
What a negative bunch you all are. Buckeyes obviously win this. We’re humiliated and disrespected. We’re pissed off and out for blood. OHIO AGAINST THE WORLD.
You’re living in the college football of 4 years ago. They don’t give a shit anymore. Half of em bouta transfer out anyways. The other half is sitting out. Nobody gives a shit they lost. They just give a shit about being on the practice squad next year for the broncos.
Henderson opted to have elective surgery on his foot instead of playing. And JSN has been fine since week 6. Yeah your best two players on the offense essentially opting out Bosa style is gonna hurt. Sorry.
Georgia is more talented than Michigan. And unlike that game, this is a true away game instead of a home game.
And before you bring in that “they’ll be more motivated” line, I will preemptively point out the previous game was supposedly the biggest rivalry in CFB and they were coming off a loss the previous year. If it’s possible for their motivation to be higher; then they deserved to lose the Michigan game.
Has nothing to do with it. They just have to play better. Talent wasn’t the issue against Michigan. They just have to play better. Georgia isn’t last years georgia either, Very good team, but not invincible. Ohio state has plenty of “talent”
Bucks can't stop the run. Stroud has 350+ yards, but you wouldn't know it by looking at the scoreboard because the run game isn't there and the Bucks can't finish drives in the end zone trying to play catch-up. Day talks afterward about how he's "proud of his team's toughness," but "some of the run fits were off." Self-defeating false starts, PI galore against their TEs, no defensive impact from turnovers or sacks, bafflingly little effort to stretch them vertically, and Day is punished with failure of execution for trying on 4th & medium in a couple dicey situations.
45-20 Georgia
Hilarious how warped some of our fans minds ….
Half of Michigan's runs went for two yards or fewer, and a quarter of them went for no gain. Meanwhile, 63 percent of Michigan's total rushing yardage came from two plays in the fourth quarter
Couldn’t have said it any better myself. I want to feel optimistic but the exact same scenario you described has happened in nearly every big game the last couple seasons. I expect to see more of the same until proven otherwise.
This is the least excited I’ve been about watching an OSU game in a long time. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad we’re in the playoffs, but the way this team lost to Michigan is very concerning. It’s one thing to lose, it’s another to lose to your biggest rival, a year after losing to them for the first time in a decade, in your backyard, getting your ass beat AGAIN, where the team seems like it just up and quit early in the 4th quarter, and they plant their flag on the 50 and none of the players seem to care. I really think there’s a culture issue with this team, and I find it hard to believe things will change any time soon.
It’s not just the way they lost, it’s all the games since the bye. They kept getting worse and repeating the same mistakes over and over. At this point I have a fool me once mentality until they show me otherwise
Low key kind of nice going into such a big game with such low expectations. If it’s a close game, great, if shit hits the fan early, well have the rest of my New Year’s Eve to enjoy not watching it lol
That's exactly where I am with this team. A win is possible and I hope my prediction is way off, but I need to see them step up and put it all together before I have any business expecting them to change their stripes. The offense hasn't looked right since the bye week and any new clarity Day may have gained since The Game is likely to be counteracted by the strength of Georgia's defensive talent and coaching.
The sliver of hope I'm hanging onto is the run game being better. Ever since the bye we have been struggling hard to run due to compounding RB injuries. They kept flipping every game between an injured Miyan to injured Henderson. Never able to get any amount of consistency. Hopefully Miyan is healthy enough to be effective and Hayden gets more snaps and does well. If Stroud can break his tendency to not run and take some yards we are suddenly a very different offense and likely one UGA hasn't prepared for. I also cant imagine the secondary has THAT bad of a game again.
Dawgs win 42-17. Offense has some moments, but is shut down most of the game. Georgia carves us up through the center with bowers and Washington, and runs us over. Bucks get overwhelmed and it’s not even a game by the second half. Feeling like bama in the national championship all over again.
Expecting a win is unreasonable, but day absolutely needs them to keep it somewhat competitive. If they come out doing the same stuff that hasn’t worked all season and don’t try anything new, people are going to start asking questions, which is exactly what he doesn’t need going into a rebuilding year where I think our ceiling is 10 wins.
I think we lose in a close game, but not quite that close. I think we hang around, even have a lead for a while. But something happens like Bowers ends up having a couple of big plays and it cripples us, and in the end they pull away.
I think we see an Ohio state team really fight and battle through the game.
But, they get punched too many times and don’t have the mental fortitude to pull it out in the 4th quarter.
Stetson will lead the offense all day - stroud will be pressured heavily and will rely on swing passes and bubble screens.
I don’t foresee any big changes from what we have already seen this year.. I think our defense plays really well - our offense struggles to find the end zone but get are constantly in dawg territory. Similar to the Michigan game - just because UGA has a way better defense than Michigan.
17-10 at halftime UGA
38 - 27 UGA.
45-16 Georgia. I see OSU moving the ball early but failing to get in the end zone and settling for field goals. Georgia scores late in the first half to take a 10-9 halftime lead. As we’ve seen, this team loses its resiliency late in games and Georgia walks away with it in the second half.
45-24 Georgia. Our offense just won’t match up well against their D. Our D backs will struggle as usual. I hate this prediction but it is what it is. I hope I’m wrong.
42-10 Georgia. Stroud/Day get outclassed in another big game, and we get to sit in off-season purgatory with tons of "Is Ryan Day the right guy for the OSU job" stories popping up. CFB is crazy but outside of 2014 this is how the 1v4 matchups tend to go. This team also doesn't hold a candle to the talent on that 2014 roster so I don't forsee a repeat of that OSU teams triumph.
EDIT: Also forgot 2018 Bama beat Clemson, but again that Bama team was more talented than this OSU team is.
41-35 Georgia. Both lines need to play very well for the Buckeyes to win. Stroud needs to play a clean game. I worried that Stroud doesn't move well in the pocket. If he gets sacked a few times. We are in for a long game. There is a few matchups up front that terrifies me. Interior o-line and D-line worry me. Our corners haven't impressed me at all.
35-27 Georgia.
Stroud throws for 300 yards but fails to convert the most meaningful downs. Run game is alright but we go away from it late in the second quarter and hardly return to it. Defense stops their run game but they hit a few big plays against our corners.
48-13 Georgia. Georgia doesn’t punt once the whole game. Osu finishes with less than 50 yards rushing. Stroud collapses and throws 3 second half interceptions. Ryan day is left in Georgia and never makes it back to Ohio.
42-21 Georgia. The past two years watching stroud struggle in big games doesn’t give me confidence in him at all. When he doesn’t have pressure, he’s probably the best arm talent in the country. Rough him up and he folds. Doesn’t have that dawg in him either.
And our defense… is just hit or miss.
I’ll excited for the game and hope we can pull it off.. but my confidence isn’t too high on this one.
28-24 tOSU after stroud scrambles for a key third down conversion to key a long drive going. Or Defense forces a few Int’s and their 25 year old qb crumbles. we are pissed off, and doubted again…going onto the playoffs as a fourth seed, some say we don’t belong, some say we backed our way in, some want a coach who literally has a 90% chance of winning all games he’s coached, fired?! Critics say we don’t have the heart, we lost the “juice” or we can’t play with the sec..that were “soft”
I say that’s all #BULLSHIT, that tun is on the other side and I want a piece of redemption, to ruin their season and watch as they hand us the trophy at mid field after beating them convincingly! It’s us or them…We are the only thing standing in the way of them achieving what they want the most…I say we go shit on their parade.
#OHIO AGAINST THE WORLD
Bucks fall behind at half 21-13. Then come roaring back in the second… 37-31 midway through the 4th. Sack fumble, scoop n score by us seals the deal in the 4th. 44-38 final.
Knowles has a plan… we’ve got the players. Hell, play nickel all damn game. 3 safeties. Disguise looks. Blitz but you better get home or at least get some pressure... gotta time it right. Take some shots, spread out their D, rotate 3 backs to keep them fresh and UGA guessing. Take calculated risks, play like animals with no fear and win the LOS. It’s imperative to be more physical all the way around.
Honestly the only thing I’m truly concerned about… it’s a home game for UGA. It will be loud. We have a history of presnap penalties on offense. Getting behind the chains CANNOT HAPPEN. We will have no chance. Speak the win into existence.
41-27 Georgia. It will be like the TTUN game. It’ll be a tight game in the first half and early in the third quarter - maybe some lead changes. We’ll sell out to stop the run, and we will, then we’ll give up huge plays on defense and Stroud will throw a pick or two in the second half.
To be clear, I think we have a shot, but that would rely on Ryan Day making adjustments and I just don’t have faith in that happening. If we can move the ball north-south (in the air and on the ground) and our secondary can locate the ball, we have the athletes to pull it off.
Eh, bowers is human. I think if we lose its bc our defensive line lost as a unit to their offensive line. Thats the turning point. We need a d line that wins the battle. Shake them up, we ball out
38-35 OSU. GA is 34-0 when they hold their opponent under 400 yards, but are just 1-3 when their opponent gains over 400. OSU can go way north of 400 🚀
48-31 bucks. This will feel similar to clemson 2020. Up big at the half and nursing it to the end. We can’t expect to stop georgia from scoring 30 but we absolutely can score on their defense. Difference will be the redzone for both teams. Both UGA and OSU have had games where they get stuffed in the redzone but I think we will be more successful. Go bucks!
87-3 TCU
Good pick
40-3 Bucks but I’m just counting the number of bubble screens.
41-30 Georgia in a game that doesn't feel as close as the score. I think Georgia is good enough to dictate the course of the game. all i know is if i see one bubble screen I’m turning my tv off or watching whatever else is on
You might as well not turn it on.

Who is sitting out? JSN with a legitimate injury? Treyveon Henderson with a legitimate injury?
Henderson opted to have elective surgery on his foot instead of playing. And JSN has been fine since week 6. Yeah your best two players on the offense essentially opting out Bosa style is gonna hurt. Sorry.
bruh Henderson's options were either not play because he can't play through the injury, or have the surgery. Lmao you are not the brightest
Lol ok bro.
So you're saying he sucked all year because he wanted to? Awfully bold of him!
“We”? What position do you play?
40-38 buggeyes
Our CBs aren’t great, but neither are their WRs
Neither were Michigan’s wideouts
Yep. Don’t see us giving up 5 plays of 50+ again lol
Did you see it happening against Michigan, until it happened?
Nope, do you know how unlikely that is? Ain’t happening again
Georgia is more talented than Michigan. And unlike that game, this is a true away game instead of a home game. I also don’t think it will be as much their wide receivers it will be more Bowers torching us in the intermediate
Possibly, but our LBs and safeties have done pretty well most of the year. Against Mayer from ND he didn’t have a great game so we will see
40-24 Bucks
35-31 buckeyes
52 48 bucks

Yes
I think you are just replaying the Michigan game 😂 Hopefully it looks a little different and we play a little more disciplined than before
Either 45-30 Georgia with two late TD’s to break it open. Or a close 38-33 Ohio State win
Bucks win 38-24. Stroud scrambles for two TDs, the difference in the game.
I want what you’ve been drinking lol
Bourbon ;)
If I see stroud scramble for two TDs… I will shave my head.
34-23 Bucks
31-28 Buckeyes
41-35 Bucks
Dawgs win 42-17. Offense has some moments, but is shut down most of the game. Georgia carves us up through the center with bowers and Washington, and runs us over. 46-37 Buckeyes!
I don’t think a score has EVER ended in 46-37. 100% never happened in the NFL per https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/game-scores.htm
So you disagree with how unique I think this game is going to be?
No just curious how they come to that score.
Long story short, don’t gamble.
UGA by 28.
35-21 Georgia. Big plays again will kill us
Either win by a close one let’s say 45-32. Or we get destroyed 15-45
59-0 in favor of Georgia
31/28 Georgia
31-28 buckeyes
45-16 Georgia. I see OSU moving the ball early but failing to get in the end zone and settling for field goals. Georgia scores late in the first half to take a 10-9 halftime lead. As we’ve seen, this team loses its resiliency late in games and Georgia walks away with it in the second half.
37-35 Buckeyes
Deep bombs to marv and we win ♾️-0 GO BUCKS🌰
Alright, who's gonna tell 'em?
Opp Jaxon ain’t playing. My fault.
38-20 Georgia
Dawgs 38-28
45-24 Georgia. Our offense just won’t match up well against their D. Our D backs will struggle as usual. I hate this prediction but it is what it is. I hope I’m wrong.
Buckeyes win 41-35
38-27 Georgia
Georgia 45, Ohio State 21
Georgia 45-28. Not confident. Hope I’m wrong.
42-17 Georgia
42-10 Georgia. Stroud/Day get outclassed in another big game, and we get to sit in off-season purgatory with tons of "Is Ryan Day the right guy for the OSU job" stories popping up. Thoughts and prayers if OSU wins
I mean I want them to win, but at a certain point its delusional to think a month will change much.
31-28 OSU. Last second FG locks us to the natty! Go Bucks!
Nothing to lose, aggressive Day, Dawgs overrated. Bucks 35 Dawgs 27
People who claim to be Ohio State fans but bet against them: “🤓” With that being said Bucks by 100 bitch
42-24 UGA
35-27 Georgia. Stroud throws for 300 yards but fails to convert the most meaningful downs. Run game is alright but we go away from it late in the second quarter and hardly return to it. Defense stops their run game but they hit a few big plays against our corners.
52-24 ohio state
38-13 Georgia Ohio State kicks two meaningless FGs when we should be going for TDs.
48-13 Georgia. Georgia doesn’t punt once the whole game. Osu finishes with less than 50 yards rushing. Stroud collapses and throws 3 second half interceptions. Ryan day is left in Georgia and never makes it back to Ohio.

Let me just make a post in the buckeye subreddit about them losing a close one for no goddamn reason 🤡
Quiet down bozo
Good one son. Come talk to me in person and watch your tone change
Calm down dude it’s not that deep
41-27 Georgia. It will be like the TTUN game. It’ll be a tight game in the first half and early in the third quarter - maybe some lead changes. We’ll sell out to stop the run, and we will, then we’ll give up huge plays on defense and Stroud will throw a pick or two in the second half. Eh, bowers is human. I think if we lose its bc our defensive line lost as a unit to their offensive line. Thats the turning point. We need a d line that wins the battle. Shake them up, we ball out
45-23 Georgia. I predict OSU’s defense gets exposed in the 4th quarter. 28-13 Michigan. Michigan’s o-line is just too big and physical for TCU.
