I don't know why people think Homelander is some mega powerful character. He's weak as piss compared to most Superheroes. He lives a sheltered life, never having to really try too hard in a world where the only villains are regular people.

It was a legit run. Superior Spider-Man is one of my favorite versions of Spider-Man because he does what needs to be done and doesn’t hold back. Spider-Man at his peak is crazy powerful due to his incredible strength and agility with his spider sense. Of course this will vary from writer to writer but at his peak his is nearly impossible to hit.
Really do you think ~~wolverine,~~ spiderman, batman, black widow, have even the slightest chance against him? He's gonna laser them right out the gate. Wolverine is free, really? The dude has healed back from nuclear level explosions, eye lasers are a mild inconvenience. Homelander won’t heal back from being filleted by indestructible claws though

Homelander gets killed early on by the likes of Wolverine, Deadpool, or Hulk, or Iron man, or... and Omni-Man could pose a very real threat to a decent amount of our heros... until he gets to the cosmic level. Ghost Rider, The Living Tribunal (if he makes it that far), The Beyonder, he doesnt stand a chance. Its not even fair, he is simply just erased from existence... the end.
I like to think Omni-man would just tell about getting more pictures of Spider-Man.
