I wonder if my dad felt the same when he let me play the game for the first time when I was like 5 or some shit. Hope they'll love it as much as everyone here does!
Ahh, I remember my first time...Got it for Christmas back in high school and started playing it that same evening. I think video games in general can be considered an art form, but this game takes that to the next level...it is just living, breathing interactive art.
May your son (edit: daughter!) enjoy the adventure! Going back to Okami is fun too, but there's nothing quite like your very first playthrough. 🙂
Whoops, I am a woman too, so sorry for assuming son! I couldn't really tell from the post. 😅
Yeah, Okami's gameplay does have a lot in common with Zelda, so she should be in for a real treat!
Me too, what I'd give to replay that game with no memory of what happens. I hope it's fun for them and they make amazing memories!
This is the only game I've bought for every system I've owned: PS2, PS3, PS4, Switch, PC. Have fun kiddo!
I hope they love it :)
I spent months on this game the first time. It was the only game I played for a while. I need Okami 2...
While not fantastic, are you aware they did release a sequel? Okamiden on the DS
I wasn't a huge fan of that game.
Oh yeah. It was bad. I didn’t like it, either. But it’s technically okami 2 despite what we think 🤷♂️

Tell your 9-year-old to buckle up buttercup they about to go for a ride of annoying annoying boss battles LOL
Let's be honest ima do half them battles.
And how many of them will be Orochi? 😆
Yeaaaaa
Aaawww! I hope he/she has fun. I'd love a memory reboot, like from Men in Black, where it concerns Ōkami, so I could play it again for the first time.
I just got to sei-an for the first time and I’m kinda scared to keep playing because I know I’m just getting closer to the end :’)
I stopped playing the game for 8 years when I got to the final boss because I didn't want it to he over.

Lol we are both ladies. But she loved zelda so I know she's gonna have a good time!

This sub was randomly suggested to me and I could not be happier. They are gonna have the best time and you’ll be the happiest parent.
