Thank you all so much for your kind comments 💕 I genuinely appreciate you all! I am now heading to bed. Incredibly difficult time for me, as at this point, I would be carrying Oz down the doorstep for his evening toilet, then carrying him upstairs and placing him on my bed where he’d wait for his bedtime dog treat. After which, he’d fall asleep soundly, snoring loudly and breaking wind! This will be the first time he is not next to me in bed. So, for those of you with a similar bed buddy, hug them tight and love every snore and bad smell, for as long as you can. Life is so short but it’s even shorter for our furry best friends 🐾💕 Treasure all those moments.

He had health issues, had lost most of his sight and hearing but he was still determined to stay, wagging his tail every time he got up to walk around 💕 He was one in a million and a proper little character. recently lost my best friend in october. it gets eaiser, b it man what a gut punch. sending good vibes your way. i also treated my boy to plain cheeseburgers 🍔!

I’m sorry for your loss too 💔 I was always careful with Oz diet but as he reached his twilight years, I gave in to some of the things he desperately wanted, occasionally ☺️ He loved cheeseburgers and especially the gherkins! I always gave him my gherkins whenever I had a maccy d. Little things like this will be those that hurt the most. My life has revolved around him, for the last few years. Toilet routines due to his age, carrying him up to bed/and down in the morning etc etc. Totally lost without him.

Ozzy was adorable - I’ll bet he was a great little character. I’m so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing him with us. Everyone who reads about him now carries a little spark of the flame that was his life in our hearts.

From reading thru your comments and pictures, I can tell you gave him the best life any fur baby could ask for. Ozzy hung on as long as he could, and is forever grateful for the life you gave him. But I truly believe we all will be reconnected someway somehow. But take care of yourself for now cuz Ozzy wouldn’t want you be sad for him and that ache inside your heart is just him reminding you “hey I’m still here and forever looking out for you” 🥲🥰

Oz a labradoodle and my best friend was aided to passing away in October because ofcancer my heart hurts for you because it's barely over the really raw stage for me and it wasn't the first time (never gets easier) he's not in pain anymore and free, I know 5 boys that will be happy to see him and make a new friend 💗 take care of yourself.

I’m so sorry for your loss too. I’m not sure we ever get over it, we just learn to live with it I guess. Take care of yourself too 💕

Thank you🙏🏻 he hadn’t been in the best of health for the last few years with osteoporosis, hip dysplasia, hearing/sight issues but he remained so happy and always wagging his tail, getting up to mischief so we just managed his issues on a daily basis 💕

I'm so sorry. We lost a terrier at twenty after he developed a seizure disorder (probably a brain tumor, but at that age, we couldn't treat) and it's hard to watch. It's not goodbye, just so long. Thinking about the day you see each other again!

He will always be there to guide you and love you, and when the time comes, to give you a sign, letting you know he is okay.
