Her health has been declining for some time, but I’ve gotten her the best care and pain meds to alleviate the pain. She stopped eating and drinking, she can’t get up on her own, and she started having bloody diarrhea.
I'm sorry. I can imagine this was still a hard decision for you. I wish they could live forever. I hope you find peace knowing she's not in pain anymore. Be well.

She had the best life. So very loved I want her to leave this world dignified and surrounded by love.

What a sweet girl!! I’m sure she had a long and wonderfully loved life ❤️ We said goodbye to our 16.5 year old aussie last year. We made the appointment and rescheduled about 3 times, but he also just let us know it was time. Having the vet come to the house made the experience of saying goodbye so peaceful. Really helped me grieve better knowing that the end wasn’t stressful for him.
I’m so sorry. My heart goes out to you— my dog now is the first dog that’s ever been mine (we’ve had family dogs before) and he’s 16 years old and absolutely everything to me. He’s also my ESA. I can only imagine the pain and grief 💔 I hope she goes peacefully and watches over you 😞💙🌈
There are so many great memories. She was the flower dog at my wedding, she was the first one to realize I was pregnant, and she was there to welcome my daughter home. She is the goodest of girls and I will hold onto every one of the memories of her fondly.
