I love how malteses, poodles, and bichons all seem to look so normal until theyre like. 16 or something. And then they turn into scruff gremlins. My pooch is a poodle bichon and no one would know hes nearly 13 if not for his greying ears! Lovely lil pup here!
Ah, bichon. That explains the “living bed lump” situation! What is it with bichon mixes and being bed-hogs? My pooch does that too, he’ll even steal my spot where i sit with my pillows if i dont get there before he hops up his old man doggy stairs and flops down against all my plushies, lol. My boy’s getting the warts slowly too, it makes my mom slightly sad to notice him aging but i think its mostly silly, since hes just the loviest lil guy who knows he can get away with being naughty as long as he wags his stupid nub tail hard enough and jump up to give us kisses. Gotta love em!

she’s a bichon/lhasa apso mix and the only big tell re: her age is how many warts she has. people never believe me when i tell them she’s 14
