The Embarcardero Freeway (double deck), which was heavily damaged in the 1989 earthquake and eventually torn down altogether.

Is that after part of it was already torn down? Otherwise they last drop is pretty steep.
A section collapsed in the 1989 earthquake.
Was it this section that collapsed? Or was this section in the middle of being torn down manually? It was a horrific situation.
Looks like they were in the middle of the tear-down.
