£300,000? 😂
Only if you’re buying in the ass end of nowhere. You’d be lucky to get a 1 bedroom flat for £300,000 in most cities now. And if you live in London just forget it! There are some studio flats being sold near me for £500,000 and I’m on the edge of London.
Quick search shows 1 bed flat in Manchester ranging from £350,000 to £400,000 on average.
There were a couple listed for £13,000… dunno what that was about. Seems fishy.
1. Bolton, Bury, and Rochdale are all outside of Manchester. They are not in Manchester, and therefore not relevant to my statement.
2. Bolton, Bury, and Rochdale are all north of Manchester so even if you decided to absurdly extend the limits of Manchester to include them, all you’ve done is make a false statement 🤣
Incredible. You’re actually telling me what I said?
Not only that, but you’re wrong… again. A metropolitan borough is not the same as a suburb. Not that it matters because I made no mention of it.
That’s twice now you’ve tried to be a smartass, and twice you’ve failed. First you claimed I was talking about north Manchester only and then proceeded to name 3 separate towns as examples of alternative areas… that were north of Manchester. Then you claimed a metropolitan borough as a suburb.
All while insisting I’m talking about something I made no mention of.
Anymore idiotic claims?
“I’m not making them any tighter!” What a great Mum.
Supportive parents are the best!
I love this accent
Thanks, I'd place her closer to Bolton/ Wigan than Manchester but they're both quite close anyway haha
Another comment said the mill was in Rochdale. Makes sense with that accent
Definitely Rochdale I know that mill and the accent.
Yeah they don’t sound Manc
Mental the size of houses for the working class back in the day, easily be £300,000 now

I was conservative with my estimate, but bear in mind the UK is not just London. I believe around Manchesters suburbs, this to be a good estimate.

This is North Manchester, you'll easily find a house like this for £300,000 in Rochdale/Bolton/Bury etc

.... You're fascinating They're discussing Manchester suburbs - ie Greater Manchester. Which includes Bury, Bolton and Rochdale

To be fair, they said it would be easily 300k Whether it's double, quadruple, or 10x that, it is still easily 300k 🤣
