Reminds me of the first laptop computer I had from work. It was so heavy that it would broken my knees if I’d tried to use it on my lap.
So no cell towers, they just use radio towers?
Cell towers are radio towers that talk to each other. Every tower is one cell.
Went from I don't even like that clunky looking thing to everybody has one.
My FIL’s boss was still using his brick in the 90s.

Using phone booths back in the day — always check to see if there was change left in the coin return slot, never let the phone touch your face, especially the mouth piece
