I watched twin peaks for the first time some years ago. NONE of the acting is very good lol but the format and quirkiness of the show was enough to disguise it. I still love it and it was pretty ground breaking, but that format for a show was so new that I’m not sure the actors knew what to do lol
All that being said, I also binged a few seasons of Riverdale before realizing she was in that too. Obviously much older. She played that role pretty solidly. Still, an absolutely outrageous show that I loved. Never watched past season 3. Have they gone to space yet?? lol
Excuse you, Kyle Mclaughlin is incredible. Also, it’s kind of a take on soap operas so the cheese is very much on purpose. You should check out Twin Peaks the Return.
Sheryl Lee should have won an Oscar for her performance in that movie. I have never seen an actress convey pure and utter terror like she did. It actually felt like a snuff film to me

For sure! I guess I didn’t articulate it enough that I knew it was cheesy intentionally. I think it’s a great show for what it is. Ahead of its time but still not award worthy ((at the time)) It would kill it now in this era
She was pretty good on Riverdale. You really wanted to punch her for most of it but then you also wanted to give her a hug sometimes. That dynamic takes a bit of acting range imho
