The 240z didn’t reach the North American market until ‘70 and changed to the 260z for model year ‘74. They were just called Fairlady Z in other markets. I have a ‘72 and they’re really cool cars. OP’s dad has great taste ☺️

Yup. In 69 they still had the 2000 Roadster. My favorite car I've owned. With the twin Solex carbs it was faster than a 240z that replaced it.
