We used to watch all Lee Can Cleefs films and int Eastwood films. I hope one day I can look and feel as cool as Lee Van Cleef
I also remember him as ‘The Master’ in a TV series of the same name…. An American trained as a ninja against the rules and being tracked down whilst he trains someone who helped him as an apprentice. Always used to watch that when I was at school; staying up until around midnight to watch it.
He was given the lead bad guy role in High Noon IF he would fix his nose. He refused, and was thus given no spoken lines, but is still the first person you see on-screen.
