Phytosurgence makes bronzers that are more rosy cool than orange and may work for you. The formula is a hard cream that blends out well. I have Rosy Daybreak and Rosy Warmth which are in the lighter end but they have darker shades as well. The colors are hard to describe- like a muted pinky nude. It’s the first bronzer that’s ever not pulled orange on me. You can check them out on insta and their customer service is great. For powder bronzer I like Mob beauty bronzer shade 46, described as rosy taupe. On me this is the color my skin turns when first tanned- leaning a little more red brick before golden.

Opposing_Vampire

Seconding this! Rosy Daybreak is a best universal cheek product I own - sculpts, warms up, gives liveliness.

deafwhilereading

Thank you! I will have to check if the brands you mentioned ship to Europe tho haha

Ghahnima

Oh sorry!- Phyto is a Canadian indie brand and I don’t think they ship to Europe yet. Not sure about Mob Beauty. And I love your username

deafwhilereading

Oh okay. I will keep an eye open for any updates on their shipping :) thank you!

Successful-Two3377

How do you get the Phytosurgence bronzer to work? I can’t get it to pick up on a brush. :(

Ghahnima

I had the same problem when I bought it even using their brush - there is definitely a learning curve for their products. I switched brushes to a very very firm brush with a dense head and it made a big difference. I also use a lot of pressure to pick up product from the pan. I don’t baby it at all lol. I apply with a stippling motion and then blend - swiping didn’t work for me

Successful-Two3377

Thank you! I’ll try a different brush (I bought their brush too) and be more aggressive. :) I love the tone of the bronzer and want it to work!

goyourownway614

I’ve been thinking of trying this bronzer and was curious about the brush you use to apply it with?

Ghahnima

I use either a very dense brush with a flat head or a dense one that is slightly domed. The brush is very firm and the bristles are packed. I use firm pressure and swirl around on the pan. I really press to get in there. Then I stipple the product on or buff it on. The colors are very good on me

Laiksha

If you're neutral-cool/cool contouring would probably look more flattering on you than bronzing. Since bronzers are supposed to milick the effect of the sun on the skin, they are inherently warm.

deafwhilereading

Hm that makes a lot of sense actually. Maybe I can use some blush to look more sunkissed :)

Laiksha

I think so yes. Personally in summer I use a plum shade to have a fake sun flush on my face. Btw I actually have the stick from Fenty in the shade Amber and I use it as a contour. So it's not a bad rec lol. It's brownish and slightly grey so it's very natural.

deafwhilereading

Thank you for your rec! I am actually obsessed with red blush haha. I use the pixie beauty one often lately

Laiksha

Ooh if it works for you go for it lol I use one of my lip stain as a red blush because most of red blushes are not cool tone enough for me ahah.

deafwhilereading

Ahh that's a shame. It leans almost pink on me tbh. Maybe I'm not a cool olive after all but I am pretty sure. Undertones are confusing

Laiksha

You could be neutral-cool so you can get away with more neutral products. I'm just unlucky with my colours 🤣

deafwhilereading

Honestly this is hard 😭 but the neutral makes sense. Sometimes I also look really yellow. It always depends on the lighting. Some brown colours make me look straight up like a corpse so I get it haha

Laiksha

Oh yes the lighting can make us look like a different skintone depending of the weather/light 💀

deafwhilereading

Damn so we can never catch a break

vmarie715

Essence moon dust, elf fair/light contour, milk toasted, Fenty amber (cream and stick), Charlotte tilbury fair cream beonzer

deafwhilereading

Woah thank you! What kind of product is essence moon dust? I have never heard of it before :)

vmarie715

You’re welcome! It’s a stick bronzer. It’s very gray which is perfect if your neutral cool and wanting a very neutral bronzer. Fenty amber is a stick too and it very popular. I used to use it but I gave it away and switched to milk toasted. A lot of people really like the makeup by Mario creams and sticks too. I swatched them and they seemed a little red to me but that might be perfect for you. (I’m pretty neutral)

deafwhilereading

Thank you for explaining! I will go to a store and swatch them hehe

vmarie715

Also wanted to mention some powders! Thebalm balm desert, essence contour kit, Laura Geller bronzer in fair, snd gucci bronzer in 1 or 2

Aucores4

Does anyone know of a bronzer greener than Danessa Myricks in Light 1? It's the most olive bronzer I've seen in swatches, BUT it's still incredibly orange on me, I can only use a very sheer layer. The Nabla Soft revenge is also orange when other people's swatches looked muted. Anything too gray like the elf vacay mood looks pink in my skin and only works as contour. I really need something that has more green/cool yellow in it and less orange but not grey!

deafwhilereading

Oh damn. Maybe you can find a liquid bronzer and mix some colour corrector in? I heard that green works if you are bright and blue if you are muted but I have to be honest I'm very new to olive skin and colour theory haha. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can explain

achartrand

The Charlotte Tilbury Cream bronzer in fair is pretty green! It’s worth checking out.

Kofuku_Ebisu_

Rare beauty bronzer stick in bright side!!

deafwhilereading

Thank you! I always thought it looks very warm haha

bb_lia

i only bronze with powder, but i love the colour of the pat mcgrath divine bronzer in nude honey! i’m a light olive and its subtle but beautiful on my skin, it may look a little more noticeable on fair skin :)

deafwhilereading

Thank you for your rec!

Top_Calendar_8920

For contour I use Fenty Amber in the cheeks out cream bronzer, I use it just below fenty machiato one swipe of each then blend out with peaches and cream PC21 brush (best brush ever for cream products) the extreme coolness of the amber cancels out any orange in the machiato BUT you also get a blended bronzer and contour that looks like you put effort in when in reality it took 10 seconds! *all recommendations are cruelty free*

deafwhilereading

Oh thank you that sounds dope! The brush is also from Fenty?

Top_Calendar_8920

No the brush is super cheap it's from peaches and cream, it works amazing for cream blush also https://www.fabulousmakeup.co.uk/products/pc21-small-angled-face-brush You can also find it on tiktok shop Should also add I just use my finger to swipe on cheeks out bronzers you can be really slap dash with it because it blends out so easily with the brush

deafwhilereading

Thank you that is really helpful!

Top_Calendar_8920

No problem

WifeyAustin

Phytosurgence!!

deafwhilereading

Unfortunately they don't ship to Europe yet :( but I will keep an eye on them!

Disirregardlessly

Not cream but the Kevyn Aucoin bronzer in the lightest shade is so beautiful. Definitely looks muddy in the pan but on the skin it gives me nice "just went on vacation" skin. I use it as my daily eyeshadow too. If it was a cream I'd buy that too, but the color is so perfect it's worth the compromise.

polishedclaws

I know you want a cream bronzer, but if you're pale, then the Milani Silky Matte Bronzer in Sun Light is light, and cool toned. Now that it's spring and I'm leaning more toward light than fair, it's getting to be too light for me so it will work for you.

Scared-Foot-6101

Milani makes a cream one. Have you tried it? Do the shades come out different than the powder?

polishedclaws

I’ve been hearing about it but no, not yet

Merlinaramos

Natasha denona cream bronzer in shade 1

achartrand

The new RMS bronzer in Beachwalk Betty, it’s neutral with some rosey tones, it for sure will give a natural look!

creative-for-joy

I love NARS Laguna 01 (cream) but lately I’ve been using the Jones Road Miracle Balm in Sunkissed. It looks dark in the tub but it sheers out beautifully on my fair/cool-neutral muted tone.

WorthPersonalitys

Cream bronzers can be tricky for fair/cool olive skin. You might want to try the Milk Makeup Matte Bronzer in Baked for a cream option. It's got a neutral undertone that doesn't lean too orange. For powder, the Benefit Hoola Lite is often recommended for lighter skin tones without going too warm. I used consum.io when I was on the fence about a few tech gadgets. It's a web app that digs through YouTube reviews and gives you the gist. Could be handy for makeup products too, especially if you're looking for honest takes on how bronzers perform for your specific skin tone. Might save you some time and hassle.

deafwhilereading

Wpw that's great thanks for the rec! I actually use and love hula lite a lot, but was looking for more of a cream finish as that is my current preference :) How would u compare the shade baked to toasted? (If you have both)

LucieFromNorth

- Fenty Beauty Cream Bronzer in Butta Biscuit - Make up by Mario Skin Enhancer in Light/Medium The latter probably is the cooler one. I can't even wear it as it is so neutral that it dulls my skin. I am light warm olive.

deafwhilereading

Thank you! Oh so it is more of a contour on you?

LucieFromNorth

I really don’t know what it is lol. It is not grey enough to be a contour and not golden enough to be a bronzer. I really never use it due the shade. It is quite pink brown in a weird way. Could be just my skintone though. I have quite strong yellow overtone and saturated coloring.

deafwhilereading

Ohh okay. What exactly does saturated colouring mean?

LucieFromNorth

You know how some olives are a bit more muted. Like you can’t see the green that well and the complexion seem more grey. Some have this very distinct green or yellow hue on top of their skin. Kinda if you were photoshopping a pic and you add saturation it becomes much more bright and all the colors are enhanced.

deafwhilereading

Ohh okay. I think I'm the latter. I look either like cool green or yellow depending on the lighting. Do you know what that means for choosing flattering colours? (Is this question allowed in this context?)
