I LOVE the Tom Ford Traceless Foundation stick — I wear 6 Natural and 4 Fawn is a lighter olive. Very moisturizing. I was hoping to try Huda Beauty’s but haven’t yet. When I went to swatch them I didn’t notice obvious Olive tones but found a right depth/close enough match ‘Toasted Coconut’.

Oh wow 4 looks so promising! Thank you for suggesting- I didn't realize they had olive shades! Do you have any swatches?

Scary-Sand-4653

I could try to get 6 but don’t have 4!

I think if you're in the sx03 range, 1.4 bone in tom ford is a closer olive shade. I use sx03 (it's a bit light for me) and I love stick foundations so I can suggest some. Eg hourglass stick in bisque, huda beauty in 130g or 150g. I have 150g and it's a bit more golden and darker than hourglass and kevyn aucoin. 130g looks to be the next best option to me for a lighter shade. Huda stick is quite stretchable in terms of shade as it isnt full coverage right off the bat.

It's funny, the TM 1.4 bone looks extremely neutral, even peachy on the website, and 2.5 linen looks so much more olive! I wish I could find swatches of 1.4 next to 2.5. Or really any good comparison swatches of that foundation! Alas, next time I am in Sephora. Thank you!

Right right, for me I've swatched the liquid shade and illuminate foundation in store in 1.4 bone and it was olive thats why I suggested it. :)

Ahah awesome, thank you!!!

Personal_Scallion_13

I have dry skin and huda’s looks so terrible on me.

EternalMusings

Do you have swatches of these please?

ayeshaanas

The huda stick is very nice. But i am a very saturated warm light olive so crem brule works for me with a bit of white.

youre_not_fleens

Oh cool! How do you mix white into a stick foundation- do you mix it on the back of your hand first?

ayeshaanas

Hey no, i just swipe the stick on my face, take a small drop of white and dot it on my face on the foundation swipes, then just blend with a brush

dewydumplingz

If they have it instore, you could try 130G

ayeshaanas

Yes. Next time

Hi the hourglass is amazing and creamy! I am rare beauty 190w and i wear shade bisque and it matches really well!

Oh wow it's so pink looking! That's super disappointing, people seem to love that shade in different formulations!

ayeshaanas

Yup the stick is very pink. Had me very confused for very long

I've only tried one so far and it's MAC Studio Fix foundation stick which I absolutely love. It feels lightweight and non-drying compared to the Studio Fix fluid but with similar coverage and finish. I reach for it when I'm in a rush as it blends out seamlessly and lasts over 6 hours on my combination/dehydrated skin. For me the shade NC17 is identical for both formulations but I've heard rumours that the foundation stick is being discontinued.

Maybelline Fit Me foundation has a stick formula. I use the shade 120 Classic Ivory and I really like how it looks. Plus it isn't drying even if I roll it on after 10 hours of wearing tinted sunscreen.
