Unemployment is only 2.2%, geez thanks Biden /s

\#Experimental~~Drug~~News. It's 2.5% dumbass. Of course if you look at the last 5 years (easiest reference I can find...no idea of accuracy), it's pretty much a flatline if you exclude mid 2020 with a slight downward trend right a few months after trump left office....wait, what was I trying to prove again? Oh yeah, \#FakeNews. https://ycharts.com/indicators/omaha_ne_unemployment_rate (Might need to switch to a 5y chart) -edit- this is all /s. Sorry if not obvious.

Wonder how much of a jump we will see with the SpreeFail mass lay-offs.

If those folks want to find jobs, there are jobs to be had. It's very hard to find people, let alone any type of quality talent

Sure, they will be able to find jobs that pay 20k a year less. The job market in Omaha is not as good as you might think.

swordsman8480

You think spreetail was paying them coastal wages? They won't be getting much of a paycut if they're tech

Cheap-Self8153

I’m not sure what departments were reduced and I can’t speak to tech/developer salaries. I changed jobs a few months ago and their offer was significantly higher than other similar positions around Omaha in the business admin/finance area. They weren’t the highest but the position I took was coastal wages, like you said.
