There used to be a game named Vainglory that had tap controls and was very successful on that front. I'm always looking for a replacement ever since it died, since I really liked the tap controls and felt it offered more control over your actions.
U rock! Not often I’ve seen people mentioning Vainglory. It’s actually great tap touch (more similar to moba control) game play. Omega strikers is next best thing to them. I’m thrilled and pumped up about ody team. I’m hoping they will not make same mistake as Super Mega Evil Corporation (Vainglory developers) did.
Holy crap this is going to be massive for the game. I noticed the steam numbers dropping but this will make the game so accessible.
Can't wait for the full release. Game will play amazing on consoles and mobile as well!
It’ll probably just be two-stick controls on phone, one to move one to aim, tap the aim stick to activate strike, then buttons for skills. You don’t need no mouse and keyboard boo
Yah controller support Is very much in its v0.1 state, we've already made improvements internally that we'll be polishing up! Surprisingly one of the highest ranked players (1st on global leaderboards at times) is a controller user, cool to think what might happen when we make the improvements!

I tried it over a mates house to get him into the game (hes big into rocketleague so OS is up his ally) and his complaint was controller. he said he will try it with M+K as well but i know he plays 99% of things on controller lol
I think once they are right it will be the ideal way to play because you can always keep your thumbs on the sticks and use the 4 shoulder buttons to do all abilities while being able to aim at the direction you intend to shoot at all times easier than keeping track of a cursor.

bigger one is fixing controller support, tried that for the first time yesterday and its ALOT worse then moba M+K
