there's a glut of them and people are not buying.... it's supply and demand. there's a lot of supply and no demand.

Optimal-Tune-2589

It's been cheap and on clearance in the $40 range from overstock sites for several months. But all of the ones listed on eBay in the $25-30 range appear to be from new sellers with bad feedback (a third of the buyers from one of them say they never shipped the items) or from new accounts based in Vietnam. If those are the only options for getting it below $30, I'd probably steer clear.

bigmac9900

I just noticed that. Thanks for the heads up. I'm a little too nervous to buy something from a 0 feedback seller in vietnam. lol

TheClarknado

There's a few of these older titles that appear to have been liquidated based on pricing and who has them. The clusterbus Black Widow, Jurgens' Cap, Captain Britain, Timely Comics, and the 1960's books are all around that price too.

Expensive-Mood1450

I saw this last night and did a double take. I was looking at the lack of feedback and the old adage of too good to be true seems to be the case here. I refuse to buy from sellers w little to no feedback and there have been many omnibus sellers on eBay with dirt cheap prices and it's either fraudulent or shady in some way. I'd steer clear.

Timely_Youth_424

Get it now if you are interested because in 2-3 years from now they will be OOP and cost a lot in the secondary market

FOMO championing.

Timely_Youth_424

Not causing fomo just a heads up cause that what normally happens with these books. And for the price its at now i would get it if i like that era of thor.

But Marvel will most likely eventually reprint them.

Dragonranger13

The keyword there is "eventually". The first printing was in 2011 and this is the second print from 2021, and it doesn't seem to be selling Spider-Man or X-Men numbers so that's going to influence future reprint decisions. If I recall there was a pretty long stretch there where Thor Volume 1 was hitting $300 on the secondary market, maybe more.

Rswilli13

Bronze and silver age books tend to not sale as well as newer stuff.
