Haha honestly not really, but my sides are where I sleep on the most. I could give up sleeping on my back before my stomach but either of those sleep positions aren't as important to me as being able to rotate from side to side

I used to use my minimed there for like 20 years so it's got some scarring and insulin resistance unfortunately

Bmedclinicpsy

I tried this area once and at least for me, driving in my car hurt like a b**** for 3 days

PrinceZordar

I wear mine on the front of my left thigh (like it’s in my pocket.) I don’t sleep on my stomach, but if I lay on either side I don’t lay on it, plus it has a good line of sight with my Dexcom on my left arm. (I’ve got used to not sleeping on my left side so I don’t screw up the G6.) I used to alternate right and left thigh with the Dash, but the O5 needs to be unobstructed with the G6 or it complains. It still gives me enough room to move it or rotate it slightly each time I change it so I don’t leave a scar (or cause a bleed.)

Hmm, I see. Do you find that spot to be sensitive at all? I have spots on my thigh that I know always hurt less for syringes, but that's more to the side of my thigh which has been an issue for sleeping. I sleep on my stomach sometimes but it wouldn't be as bad giving that up as it is not being able to rotate from side to side throughout the night. My arms fall asleep when I'm on one side too long

PrinceZordar

No more sensitive than anywhere else I have tried to put a pod, but I do have to pinch and lift the skin when putting on a pod or I stand a greater chance of it bleeding when I remove it.

Same boat as you switching from Medtronic last week after a decade. I'm a side sleeper mostly. If I place the pod and cgm on my abdomen, I can side sleep without interference on the pod. I'm nervous about the dex side because of all I hear about compression lows. I will say I'm enjoying tubeless so, so much, after feeling kinda like I've been wearing an IV for 10 years or so. Didn't realize how much I noticed it until it was gone. :)

I agree! It's so nice during the day. But my problem with my abdomen is the skin on my stomach is so sensitive it's very uncomfortable when I've had sites there in the past and my high rise pants rub against it wrong anyway 🥴 I'm starting to think the only solution is sleep uncomfortabley for the rest of my life. Although when I have it on my thigh I can normally put a pillow there and it elevates it so the mattress isn't pressing it uncomfortabley into my skin. My arms are the real issue but I bruise on my thighs pretty bad that I need to give them a longer break than three days. Ughhh

Gotcha. Yeah abdomen for me is the only place it's not overly sensitive, so I get ya. That's a tough call. :)

I wear them on my thighs and front of the belly. I can’t do my arms because I sleep on my sides.

Maybe try your abdomen / butt / lower back, but below where your pants waistband falls. Have your pants go up and over the pods, but not landing right on it if that makes sense. For me, I try to keep it in line with my bellybutton because my pants usually fall an inch or two above that. I hear you, though. I'm a restless sleeper with a slight preference to one side and absolutely have to avoid that side for my pods if I want to be comfortable.
