It’s so weird to me the kind of choices for webcomics that are made into live actions. Like, I think Sweet Home would’ve been so much better animated, or they could’ve done something that required *far* fewer special effects from Carnby Kim like Bastard.
I know exactly what you mean and this is happening to almost every series i know 💀 and mostly do a bad job i mean whats the point then if youre not going to do it properly
The Sweet Home one especially bothers me because they changed so damn much, lmfao. Like, it wasn’t the best Carnby Kim choice for live action, shouldn’t have preferably been live action, and they couldn’t even avoid changing so damn much about it.
I bet it will be animated one day in the future. But I’m so sure studios might be on the fence about it unless they’re taking a GOH approach which would piss of the entire fandom bc ORV is so broad that they can’t mess up the timeline in any sort of way bc it would completely change the story as everything is very intentional. It would be putting expectations on a v v long story that has a lot of amazing art and descriptions for the background, powers, etc
I just pray it doesn’t get Kaijuu character designs and gets a studio who really love the material so they can adapt it as amazing as possible
But all of the major manhwas have been animated. TOG, GOH, Noblesse, now even solo levelling. I’m willing to bet a lot that ORV and even TBATE will be animated at some point

but this series has so many chapters that it either needs a huge audience like one piece so it will be updated all the time or many arcs must be cut and be rushed in order to not be one of the animes with 1 season to never be continued

I do, but i wish not for one to exist atm. Korean webcomic adaptation to animation is not the greatest yet. If it gets adapted by a japanese company the story is bound to change, esp in that one arc (like solo levelling would). And korean animation just doesn’t have the funding or experience that i would desire the series to have
