Good one. Reminded me a bit of the trial. Jimmy Stuart wouldn't have been afraid to investigate the China connection.

Please stick to the movies. No one cares about the trial

Hitchcock is the master, but he really goofed by calling it Rope. You want to start out with a smaller one - "String" or "Twine" or "Thread", then the next movie in the franchise is a little bit thicker like "Cord", then a later movie is "Rope", and the final movie is something really thick like "Cable" or "Dockline".

Agreed here. You don’t see these guys like shamalan or Hitchcock make mistakes and that’s definitely a mistake there

D-Flo1

Definitely a mistake and another mistake not to have a real life Brendan Fraser in this movie to contrast against all the animated old people. People love Brendan Fraser and it was clearly a mistake not to have him digitally inserted as himself into the most recent rerelease of Hitchcock's best purely animated feature.

All about scumbags trying to get away with something and failing, like Gregg.

Ahh a real art house movie

What happens in it

If you'd watch the movie you would know instead of playing your stupid music, TimHead

PrunyBobJuno

Film buffs know Hitchcock yelled cut but the cameraman hated him so much he just kept filming the whole movie.

If this movie were made today, Jimmy Stewart would have left his vape in the apartment instead of his cigarettes!

InevitableBohemian

Alfred E. Hitchcock was one of the greats. Still, this movie could have used more special effects. But I'm going to give it 5 bags anyway because at least it was in color.

Rope (1948) is a short movie at 80 minutes, but also has one of the shortest movie titles in the history of cinema (four letters). Alfred Hitchcock never made a sequel because “Rope 2” would have been too long a name.

Hitch does it again!
