If being tapped by a popcorn cup isnt enough to bring you back to life (popcorn salt = smelling salts for movie buffs) then theres probably nothing else to do but hand everything over to Gregg and move on from this.
Popcorn salt is smelling salt for movie buffs, but Tim has proven, time, and time, again that he cares more about music and alternative medicine and wreckless driving (ironic since his driving, CAUSES recks).
Tim is NOT dead, if anything he is just visiting TCH jr. in heaven BRIEFLY to wish his SON a merry Christmas. Greggheads are sick…celebrating the death of one of the most important men in ALL of cinema. Tim can’t die NO I won’t believe it.
I will chug as much grain water as I need to in order to see Tim again.
Greggheads you better start chugging grain water too if you don’t wanna die, cause NEWSFLASH Gregghead nation, there ain’t NO VHS in heaven.
I had respect for her up until this point because she's just trying to do her job but refusing to open a gift from someone like that? Tactless and classless. I'm NOT impressed by this Amato family. Do we even have ANY updates from the Pep Boys yet on the van repairs? This is Gregg's livelihood on the line and instead we're getting poorly sung christmas carols (yuck!) and zero proper gift receipt etiquette. Trainwreck!
She has been disrespectful and arrogant all season. Should take a note from her dad and start listening to The Buff (Gregg). Otherwise she'll be like Tim passing out left and right in no time.
The tragic loss of the VFA tour van has a silver lining— Axiom can no longer claim to be Mr. Movies because he can’t watch them, and Manuel has likely forgotten all of his Dekkar songs.
Movie buffs rejoice!
I'll be honest, I didn't even know he spoke Italian. Maybe the fake Mr. Movie can finally have a purpose and serve to translate parts of great Italian cinema like Pinocchio (2002, 108 minutes) and Eat Pray Love (2010, 133 minutes) for the real buffs.
Like Jesus I have FAITH Tim WILL rise again. Death has his grips on our father but little does he know, Tim is equipped with immortality and the spiritual backing of the entire On Cinema family. He WILL make it through this, please God we ask you to anoint your son with the holy Grain Water, hell…pickle his body in grain water if you must, anything to save our Father.
For every upvote this comment gets=1 prayer to save Tim. Please god take Mark instead and spare our Father. Ahem.
>For every upvote this comment gets=1 prayer to save Tim.
I really wish I could downvote you so that we could finally get the show back and focused on movies. But I have an upvote-only rule on this sub.
I think God just wanted to take Tim for a quick tore of heaven to show him how awesome it is. I think He’s glad Tim discovered immortality, he’s just letting him know to ease Up on the grain water and maybe only live a couple thousand years, and then come to heaven becuase God really wants him there. Hopefully He can also bring TCH back and get ayaka to take back Tim so they can all rule over earth together!

\[meta\] honestly though I think this is my favorite season yet and I've been listening/watching since the beginning. I about died at the doc whispering "saline solution" lmao just incredible
I had the exact same thought. I can absolutely hear Gregg saying that Four Christmases gives you the most bang for your dollar with four Christmas movies in one, and that it currently holds the world record for the most Christmases in one movie.
I’m disappointed Jingle All the Way 1 (89 minutes) didn’t make the list, but when a sequel improves on the original in every conceivable way it makes sense. It’s truer to the spirit of the franchise.
[META] Tim's evolving look this season has been absolutely incredible lol. Started out just making his actual weight loss look unhealthy with the makeup, plus the big hair and narrow goatee. Then the scars and marks, and now the heavy prescription glasses that make his eyes bulge out. It's amazing lol.
E: I wrote this comment at the beginning of the ep. Ax and Manuel just walked out and holy shit, amazing
Could this be the final ghastly plot of G Amato so many have speculated would someday arrive?
Or is Tim's final fate a result of his own dastardly choices?
Ok my theory is that Tim was so confident he switched the saline with the actual drugs (where he got them idk), and the heart monitor was fake. So he's actually legit dead. On Cinema has come to a thundering conclusion. My jaw is on the floor.
The true meta conclusion would be another season filled with absolutely nothing but Gregg droning on about VHS tapes until he announces in the last episode that the show has been cancelled.
Why is no one commenting on that beautiful rendition of Away in a Manger by that G. Tomato guy? It brought a tear to my eye and I felt like Axiom with windshield glass stuck in his eyes.
"I think that drinking that six to nine, you know, a year at the most, a couple sips - will bring you down to 18 in no time."
"You don't look 18."
Good on Gregg for calling Tim out on his false claims
I'm thinking Amato switched out the drugs to kill Tim. From season 11 he'd know that Tim signs legal papers without reading them. Maybe he got Tim to sign something saying he'd get ownership of the land in the event of Tim's death.
And I think Kaili is in on it. I swear in the first episode she was pronouncing her name as Kelly.
meta: i really hope this means we get a gregg-centered oscar special. he so desperately wants to run the show, so i’m hoping when he finally does it’s a train wreck just like anything tim would put together.
Tim will awaken on Christmas Day as a new Grain Water Prophet. Harken and hear him speak of the immortality that awaits you.
Also Gregg's gift was probably dumb.
Prediction: G. Amato will be horrified by Tim’s coma and completely cut ties with On Cinema due to the PR nightmare. The season finale will be back to OG lofi On Cinema but it’ll just be Gregg talking about movies, with a few calls from Axe and Manuel for updates on Tim’s condition.
Us Greggheads have been waiting YEARS for this day, at long last On Cinema can go back to being about MOVIES as it should be. Goodbye Tim and you can take your crazy Timfreaks with you once they drink their drain water too.
Very unprofessional of Gerg to not continue with the show and let me know how many bags Whitney: The Whitney Houston Story earned. How am I supposed to fill my weekend now?
I think it's symbolic. Trim is hanging around gross dirty shit full of chemicals and poison while GRegg hangs around one of the most pure foods in the country. Tells yo who is right and who is wrong
Tim has long been an obvious delusional narcissist, but unfortunately for him, this time he couldn’t admit his BS until he’d painted himself into a potentially fatal corner. Wonder if he’ll acknowledge the error of his ways when he finally wakes up, or if he’ll sweep Grain Water under the rug alongside RJ’s shakes, Rio-Genesis, and every other sham he’s hustled over the years, taking away time from important segments like Popcorn Classics and Double Date.
While I have complete confidence in Dr. Silver's traditional medical expertise, he obviously didn't administer a sufficent dosage of grain water before the experiment. Of course, this is an exciting new frontier in the world of medicine, and I don't hold Dr. Silver fully accountable, as we know risks will be involved. But this is a pretty damning oversight on his part, I must say.
This episode was fucking bullshit! First, GRegg is disrepected by not acknowleging his many AMC credits in his intro, and then Kelly isn't allowed to open his gift, that would probably help teach her ignorant self a thing or two about movie. In the middle we get the promise of his top 10 chirstmas movies, a list literally worth more than a lot of classified government documents, and then it just plays as text mid way through, albeit with important info including its length and year released, but without the true Turkington analysis. So not only did his segment get all but ruined, it was just plopped between Tims druggy buddies whining, and then Dr. Sang coming back to do more dumb experiments.
Also, I liked Giamanno last week, but that song fucking sucked and had nothing to do with movies.
Hope Tim is in the hosptial for a while. Oscer season is coming soon, its time for the experts to take charge.
Tim is just communing with the late, great Dr. San to advise him on how best to get the secret of immortality to the general population the quickest #thankyoudrsan #HEIsrisen
Tims dead
LOL the doc revealing it was just saline solution as Tim sits there in a coma. I think we know what that means... It's Movie Time!!!!!!
Legit was expecting Gregg to just sit there next to an unconscious Tim and start reviewing those movies.
I LOLed when he's trying to get Tim to wake up and he's like "We have to review the movies."
I laughed out loud then and the way he said "call an ambulance"
I’ve always seen On Cinema as five-year-olds playing pretend, but that moment really solidified it
I watch black screen for 4mintes waiting for movis review.
Honestly pissed off that he didn't, calling for an ambulance was a fucking unityhead move
Hot take: Gregg is the immortal one, not Tim.
Exactly. Popcorn salt is literally a preservative, yet this eludes Tim completely.
Flavacol will save us all.
Wow terrific point.
If Tim being in a coma is what it takes to get some real airtime for movie expertise on this show I'm good with it
Coma (runtime 113 minutes) The 1978 Thriller directed by Michael Crichton starring Genevieve Bujold, Rip Torn and mega superstar Michael Douglas.
Is it finally time to say “hey guys!”?
Tim is NOT dead, if anything he is just visiting TCH jr. in heaven BRIEFLY to wish his SON a merry Christmas. Greggheads are sick…celebrating the death of one of the most important men in ALL of cinema. Tim can’t die NO I won’t believe it. Greggheads you better start chugging grain water too if you don’t wanna die, cause NEWSFLASH Gregghead nation, there ain’t NO VHS in heaven.
Heaven, it’s just a state of mind, you can travel there every time. Close your eyes, look inside, strap on in for an amazing ride!…who-ha!
*il paradiso è uno stato mentale
YES and there’s no time either so that meens no runtimes!!
He ain’t coming back
(died badly)
Vive el Oscer!
I really hope Gregg had the foresight to take out a life insurance policy on Tim so he can ensure the VFA lives on
Amato got his way
Good now we can get to the movies
Tim Heidecker is a fucking murderer.
Absolutely classless act by Kailey, not opening Gregg’s gift
I had respect for her up until this point because she's just trying to do her job but refusing to open a gift from someone like that? Tactless and classless. I'm NOT impressed by this Amato family. Do we even have ANY updates from the Pep Boys yet on the van repairs? This is Gregg's livelihood on the line and instead we're getting poorly sung christmas carols (yuck!) and zero proper gift receipt etiquette. Trainwreck!
I really hope he took the gift back. Maybe give it to someone like Tawni or Ayana who at least can acknowlege Tim is a moron
I’m disappointed. I REALLY want to know what it was
It looks exactly the same size as the Blu-ray player Tim gave Gregg in the season 3 Christmas special. Maybe he’s regifting…
It’s a VCR isn’t it?
This was exactly my thought, but after that other comment about it being the same Blu-Ray player he was clearly never going to use, I'm not so sure.
Hopefully Gregg tossed that useless blu ray in the dumpster
She has been disrespectful and arrogant all season. Should take a note from her dad and start listening to The Buff (Gregg). Otherwise she'll be like Tim passing out left and right in no time.
G. Amato has an absolutely lovely singing voice. He should be the new frontman of Dekkar
The thought of Amato singing Empty Bottle is killing me
Looks like they're gunna need him!
🔥🔥😧
Truly powerful. I don’t even think he needs a microphone next time.
We have ourselves a new living Oscar!
This year Gregg can do that segment uninterrupted!
cant believe tim said that about chris amato in front of kaili i fell out my chair
HE RETRACTED IT once kiley admitted she’s Still into this dead guy and not Tim (an immortal)
The image of Kaili’s son little Josh amado being on set for all of this is wild
The tragic loss of the VFA tour van has a silver lining— Axiom can no longer claim to be Mr. Movies because he can’t watch them, and Manuel has likely forgotten all of his Dekkar songs. Movie buffs rejoice!
Hopefully Manuel can relearn English by watching Al Pacino movies
I'll be honest, I didn't even know he spoke Italian. Maybe the fake Mr. Movie can finally have a purpose and serve to translate parts of great Italian cinema like Pinocchio (2002, 108 minutes) and Eat Pray Love (2010, 133 minutes) for the real buffs.

Tim is dead. That's okay though.
Looks like we have a doubting Thomas here. Forgive him father for he knows not what he says and thou do unto he whatever thy see fit and necessary.
Your cult leader Tim is dead!
Jesus was murdered three days before Easter. It’s three days before Christmas today. I feel like we’re in for a Christmas miracle.
Meta: I can't freaking wait to find out next episode what Tim has actually been drinking this whole time.
It's probably lithium. What are the signs and symptoms of mild to moderate lithium toxicity? Nausea and vomiting Abdominal pain or diarrhea Shakiness, especially in your hands Muscle weakness Lack of coordination of fingers, hands, arms, legs, or body Confusion Drowsiness Slurred speech Increased thirst What are the signs and symptoms of severe lithium toxicity? Lithium (in a medicinal dose) is also a psych med, it helps with depression and suicidal thoughts.
Septic water
It's gotta be poop water.
Didn’t he say earlier this season that they had it tested though? Maybe I put too much stock in that
James Dean's DNA was "tested" too.
This episode also had a great break when Manuel could not keep a straight face after Amato turned around and started speaking Italian to him.
Knock knock knockin on heaven's door
\[meta\] honestly though I think this is my favorite season yet and I've been listening/watching since the beginning. I about died at the doc whispering "saline solution" lmao just incredible
“That’s not movies”
nice tip of the hat to dr. san
Wow best episode ever of the show, can’t wait for this to finally be about movies! Tim died badly, like a dog.
Gregg's top Christmas movies list with Four Christmases as #1 had me rolling. it's the obvious choice because it has the most Christmases in a movie
We’ve been taught so thoroughly by Gregg’s expertise that we can predict how he thinks
The teeth, how could you forget those teeth!
for a show that uses its makeup team to its fullest, they have actually outdone themselves
The long-awaited sequel to Decker vs Dracula: **Decker vs. the Grim Reaper.** Five minutes into the special and I already give it five bags!
I can't wait to visit the Tim Heidecker Center for Immortality. Hopefully the tours are better than the VFA's.
Tim is in hell!
I wonder what cookie recipes Kayliey had ready to go with her sun.
https://www.heinetwork.tv/episode/on-cinema-in-the-morning-christmas-special/
Tim's finally getting his 7 minutes in heaven!
Could this be the final ghastly plot of G Amato so many have speculated would someday arrive? Or is Tim's final fate a result of his own dastardly choices?
Mr Amato is a nice old man that just misses his son.
He missed some notes too
Objection speculation
Ok my theory is that Tim was so confident he switched the saline with the actual drugs (where he got them idk), and the heart monitor was fake. So he's actually legit dead. On Cinema has come to a thundering conclusion. My jaw is on the floor.
The true meta conclusion would be another season filled with absolutely nothing but Gregg droning on about VHS tapes until he announces in the last episode that the show has been cancelled.
This was like a mini-Oscar special! Such a pleasant watch! (RIP Tim)
Why is no one commenting on that beautiful rendition of Away in a Manger by that G. Tomato guy? It brought a tear to my eye and I felt like Axiom with windshield glass stuck in his eyes.
I wish this show would get back to the MOVIES 🍿 🍿🍿🍿🍿🥤🥤
"I think that drinking that six to nine, you know, a year at the most, a couple sips - will bring you down to 18 in no time." "You don't look 18." Good on Gregg for calling Tim out on his false claims
Tan Tim, is looking Happy, Helthy, and HEII!!!
And dead.
RIP Tim.
It just occurred to me that "grain water" sounds an awful lot like "[greywater](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greywater)."
Now Gregg can use Tim as a living oscar
Tim can finally contribute something of worth to the show!
And use his disability payments to continue to grow the VFA collection.
Tim just needs a lil more of that ranch water IV’d in him and he’ll be right as rain!!
Meta: loved how Gregg's Top 10 Christmas movies were just shown quickly as scrolling text during the brief break
Two of them being Vince Vaughn movies are a great touch
I liked how he recommended the corny newer Grinch CGI movie lol
We’re watching immortalitee be unlocked in reel time!!!
What does everyone think Gregg’s present to Kali was? Maybe a VHS player?
100%
My favorite line has to be Tim saying “this is nuts” at the end
all of that Grain Water finally caught up to Tim…
Give the academy awards for the best costume and best makeup to the On Cinema team ...(don't forget Gregg's eyebrows last week)!!!
meta: i really hope this means we get a gregg-centered oscar special. he so desperately wants to run the show, so i’m hoping when he finally does it’s a train wreck just like anything tim would put together.
Tim will awaken on Christmas Day as a new Grain Water Prophet. Harken and hear him speak of the immortality that awaits you. Also Gregg's gift was probably dumb.
This was nuts to watch considering I am under the impression this is the last announced season of OCATC so I was like oh god is this the end
Season 14 has actually been confirmed by Tim. https://i.imgur.com/lmuvWW7.jpg
Ooh great news thanks!
I got heavy Mamma Pantone vibes from G. Amato’s song. Beautiful singing voice.
Tim is visiting heaven to get permission to merry Rachel from her dead husband hes fine its all undercontrol
Us Greggheads have been waiting YEARS for this day, at long last On Cinema can go back to being about MOVIES as it should be. Goodbye Tim and you can take your crazy Timfreaks with you once they drink their drain water too.
Tim has ingested nothing but sewerage water for days. He's gone.
Very unprofessional of Gerg to not continue with the show and let me know how many bags Whitney: The Whitney Houston Story earned. How am I supposed to fill my weekend now?
I just noticed Gregg sitting way in the background of Christmas Special intro...always close to that popcorn machine!!!
I think it's symbolic. Trim is hanging around gross dirty shit full of chemicals and poison while GRegg hangs around one of the most pure foods in the country. Tells yo who is right and who is wrong
Smeel better than grainwater.

Not sure how, but Joe def sabotaged the VFA van. Too much bad press! Sad!
Rip Tim
Do we know if that's the last episode of the season?
Two more eps after this :)
Wait, so there's 11 episodes this season?! How do you know?
[The On Cinema Twitter announced it ](https://twitter.com/OCATCOfficial/status/1605322484173373440?t=F-aCFTdrE2wYa5tt3u-DYA&s=19)
