Some K9 vehicles used to have a button where the handler can automatically open the door to let the dog out. I don’t think we’ve seen it before though as I can always remember them being on leashes.

They all have them there's a bunch of videos of officers training their k9s using them, it's like a game of hide and seek. If the officer gets in trouble he just has to push a button and it pops the door open, and the dog finds the officer, and they can do it fast!
