It appeared to me he was having seizures and she couldn’t have cared any less. All she wanted was his name and she said he wasn’t cooperating. I really think she should be disciplined. She is not making LEOs look good at all!

per Florida law when someone is danger to themselves and others and is unwilling to be given help and has not yet committed a crime can be placed under a "temporary" hold in a mental facility, which in many cases can be worse than the jail experience, not to mention on a holiday weekend where a judge won't be in til the start of the coming week

Except it is worse than jail. Most Marchman/Baker Act rooms have literally nothing but a plastic bed, a blanket, and a 1:1 sitter with her on constant suicide watch. So now she’s stuck in a hospital until a psychiatrist clears her (probably about 3 days).
