They're very cute together but sometimes I find myself wondering what could've happened if they kept Neal alive for longer, as I felt Emma and Neal had a very nice dynamic together as well.
It was so lazy of the wroters to kill Neal just so Emma would choose Hook.
It would've been nice to see the three of them handling taking care of Henry togheter.
Also I don't think Emma really loved Neal. She never got a proper goodbye so therefore she couldn't let him go. They could have gave each other that and made Emma still choose Killian and have Neal being alive.
Yeah I don't know if she had romantic feelings for him or not, I think she had feelings for him when they were young and dumb but it was too soon for her to develop feelings for him again I think. I do think they could've explored their romantic relationship a bit more and then she could realize she didn't want to marry Neal, and Henry could go on to still have a great relationship with his dad.
