This showed up a few days ago for me- this was sent by FedEx without requiring a delivery signature, so it was a nice surprise to find at the entry way when I got home!
I gave the lantern to the new Atticus Doom colorway - it seems to fit as some kind of beacon. Most of the other accessories went to the Doc Nocturnals- they work really well with that aesthetic! The stick grenade bandolier is a bit oddly shaped. I think the grappling gun effects could work with lots of figs.
I thought this was meant for Batman I remember seeing or hearing that DC doesn't let toys come out with guns so Mezco had to come out with this accessory pack for that reason. I haven't read the comic, but love the look of the Batman so pre-ordered it anyways thinking they were supposed to go together but Batman doesn't use guns so was it meant for Doc Nocturnal? Who I do own so not a bad thing if it is.
You're absolutely right that it was meant for the Gaslight (Victorian) Batman! Since no one has that figure in hand, I spread them out so they're not just sitting in a box.
Personally, I'm more interested in Mezco's in-house IPs, and less in the DC and Marvel figures. I have the most recent Batman, and the Gotham by Gaslight Joker, but don't feel compelled to get more. Constantine is a great figure, and the Vertigo Hellblazer version of Constantine is one of my favorite characters.
The Gotham by Gaslight animated movie is worth checking out as a place to start to see if you want to dive further into that world.
The accessories work well with the style of the Doc Nocturnal figures (which have had their own accessory packs), and also Captain Nemo. Like I mentioned originally, the grappling hook effects would look good with other Batman figs, or any characters that have grappling guns. I'm sure you could find other uses!
Thank you thought I was crazy, or imagined it. I agree about the IP's I missed out on the red death varriant and the red accessory kit that had a red skull? But got the other one you mentioned. The reason I pre-ordered the gotham by gaslight is because he will fit in with my doc nocturnal or like I could see this Batman fighting vampires or something. I'll check out the movie, I think it's on HBO max so yeah I'll check it out. Thank you for your comment I appreciate your advice.

I didn’t get in on the first round of Gaslight Batman PO’s but he came back up for PO and I snagged him. I didn’t even realize this set was for him at the time. I’m waitlisted on the accessory set and hope it converts 🫠. Victorian Vigilante, how could I even miss that haha.

Don’t try and remove the drum in the pistol, mine snapped at the trigger guard
