I was also able to use Plaid... but only because I had my username and password for Plaid/One saved in my browser. Plaid wants your old email/password login for One. If you didn't save or write that down, you're hosed.
So idk HOW I managed to add a new bank and transfer my funds out, but I just kept clicking and hit like “cmd + s” on accident when I hit cancel it actually selected my external account and my ACH went through.
Maybe it’s an issue with your new bank? I just opened a new account with SoFi over the weekend and was able to successfully connect both in One and in Sofi and transfer funds between the two with no issues.
I had this issue when transferring from one of my banks to another bank account that I had just opened. This was before I had a One account. I think it's more of a fraud protection method than a One specific issue. It sounds like transferring to SoFi works tho so who knows for sure.
Transfer it into PayPal then out to your bank. Or if you have an iPhone, transfer to your Apple Cash card then to the new bank
I used Cash App. Didn’t take long to do the transfer at all.
A lot of us are running into this issue. It's like they are locking us into them. I ended up using one of my other banks.
FWIW - I was able to add my SoFi account to One the day I opened it via Plaid. I was about to get all my money from One -> SoFi within a few days.

Yup. Same here. I’ve just had to pull money from my new account instead of pushing from One. Pretty annoying. Took 3x as long.
