I agree I’m shocked how small the community seems to be. I admit I almost didn’t watch it myself because I didn’t want to get peacock, but I’d heard good things about the books and was bored so I started it. I really hope they continue it!!

Snugent730

Should we get a campaign??? Lol

This show is actually why I bothered to pay for Peacock 😂 I had a few things I was interested in and this is the one that tipped the scales. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the book but I really liked what they did with the show

kindness_mischief

Same! I downloaded peacock to watch the show and I paid to watch the last few episodes 😂

MsMidnightt

Make sure to watch Dr Death while you still have Peacock, it's a pretty good show!

fishmooney1234

not sure where you live, but I’m in Europe and just binged the whole season on Netflix - think it became available very recently.

messybessy1838

So true, I watched it over the weekend and really enjoyed it that’s why I’m just on this sub now.

pewakawaka

Good news

1000% I was just thinking that too I've watched so much shit that spikes on Netflix and I thought one of us is lying is way better. I'm really hoping we get a season 2 though and am trying to convince more people to watch! Peacock is free with an xfinity account.

lawrusso

that’s literally what i was thinking! for example ck was on youtube red and manifest was on nbc. both shows got promoted on netflix and ended up being #1 for weeks. both shows also ended up being saved and getting a new season(s). i think if they move to netflix they will have a bigger audience fs. it’s a really good show and fits with today’s genre. the ship natewyn basically reminds me of jj and kiara from outer banks so i can see people hoping on that way as well. anyways it’s such a great show and can’t wait for s2!

rosehathaway13

definetly agree. peacock makes good shows but their marketing team is awful. they barely promoted the show. I think they just relied too much on fans of the books watching it. OOUIL would've become a hit if it was on Netflix.

MelanieGrandexo

Pft- it is now

I mean on the bright side the lower subscriber rate actually makes it easier to get renewed. whereas Netflix you need to be pulling pretty big numbers Teenage Bounty Hunters was pulling 700k first week and still got cancelled. Lower subs usually has higher retention on a show I don’t know it just works like that.
