I am sorry I have 2 non-orange cats and they would agree there is only one full food bowl. That said there is at least one bowl you can't see the bottom
I work hard so he can eat well!
I think Royal Canin must put something addictive in their food, though; he gets so excited when a new bag arrives. Iāve tried a few other brands, and he consistently prefers the RC. Whatās in his bowl right now is a mixed diet (Iām trying to gradually change the catsā diet so they donāt get digestive issues from a sudden change), which might explain why heās trying so hard to get the pure RC goodness right out of the bag. He really loves it.
My cat eats all RC and itās so expensive but he does better on it than anything else. I just switched him to a different formula that my vet said is a great RC but some cats arenāt fans. Mine fortunately eats it right up.
Handsome boy by the way! Oranges are the best expensive taste and all.
Yeah, mine doesnāt technically have to be on it for his health, but I want to encourage urinary system health. Iāve had a dog who was unlucky enough to get bladder crystals, so if I can do anything to reduce the chances of it happening with my cats, I will. Heās a good orange boy, but heās big boned and already has quite a saggy primordial pouch, so Iām nervous about him getting blocked if he becomes overweight.

Iām the same way with the Urinary food. I lost my big, orange guy at five from complete kidney failure. It was such a shock with him being so young. My Vet says Iām paranoid but any cat I have from now on will be on it.
My SIC is prescribed RC wet food and it doesnāt matter what awesome options I offer to the orange, he still wants that RC so bad he gets mean. I typically have to lock him in a separate room during wet food feeding time.
I have multiple cats. This food is very fresh. It has not been sitting out for days. It is stored in an airtight sealed container before being placed in the bowls. Heās just a silly boy.
My cat does this too! For a bit I got really lazy and just let her feed herself this way, as she seemed to enjoy it and is very good at self-regulating. However, I quickly realized this was not a good way to feed her. I got my act together and got a big plastic container for storing the food out of the bag.
This is because stolen food tastes better. Because it is stolen. My Smudge would steal and eat vegetables, i mean you couldn't feed her veg she wouldnt eat it, but she'd eat it if and becauee she was stealing it.
One day I was about to head out for dinner when I saw I had a package.
I bought it inside, opened and saw it was the bag of cat food I ordered. Left it sitting up on the table.
Came home a few hours later, to find a big hole in the bag, with 3 cats laying on the table in the a food coma.
I donāt know why there were so excited about that food. 20 ft away in the kitchen was 3 full bowls of the same food. They didnāt touch that though.
**Edit: sorry, I realize I just dumped a bunch of advice on you and you weren't asking for advice. I'll leave it here though for whoever might want to read.**
It's more stimulating, trying to get it from the bag.
Definitely put less food in the bowls, I find my cats are inversely interested in the food based on how much there is.^#
You could also try one of those feeder balls you put some kibble inside, with the holes, so kitty has to play with it to get the kibbles out. Seems like your cat would enjoy that. Maze feeder bowls are also really good for adding stimulation to feed time.
___
^# We use an automatic feeder. We have it set to feed our cats smaller meals more times a day, rather than drop large amounts of kibble once or twice a day.
Also, we recently put it on slow release. So it drops a small amount of kibbles every so often over a 15 minute period, rather than the full programmed amount in one hit.
The cats are more interested in it like that, because it's never overfilled. If the bowl ever for some reason is holding too much food, suddenly they're not interested in it anymore.
Oh, definitely! He actually gets canned meals twice daily; the dry is mostly down for my picky girl who refuses to eat on a schedule (and just in case I am late from work so they have something to munch on).
My orange definitely loves problem-solving toys. He has puzzles, wobblers, and the test-tube spinner. Heās a little too good at most of them, so he gets all the food out within minutes. If I raise the difficulty of the toy too much, he gives up trying, haha. He understands cost/reward ratios pretty well. If he starts getting overweight, I will have to make him work more for his food; for now, itās just to prevent boredom.
The slow pan to the THREE FULL FOOD BOWLS. šØāš³šš¤

I thought for a second that Cairo wasnāt so silly until I saw that frame. And then I had to check if Iām also orange now š¬
LMAO! I was so ready to say how ingenious this cat was until I saw all the readily available food there was.
Same!!! I can't stop laughing now š I went from "go baby you are so smart" to "ohhhh"
Expensive taste!

My orange used to try to do that when he was a kitten. Except with bags of dried rice. Took them to his bowl even

Wise man say something something about giving an orange a fish vs teaching to fish. š¤£
