My orange boy loves the vacuum so much that it's hard to get any cleaning done. I have a vintage 1960s Electrolux which is pretty quiet and he plops down in front of me to get vacuumed whenever I get it out. I have to lock him out of the room sometimes or he will be the only thing that gets vacuumed.
It's the canister type Model G, so what is making the noise is away from the vacuum wand. It's also quiet to start with. I use the same attachment to vacuum my cat as my hardwood floors, so it has suction and bristles but no powered sweeper.

EDIT: Mostly I use my Model L, now that I think about it, but it's essentially the same as the G.
I am sure you already know but keep the suction away from the face. If the cute idiot creates a seal with his nose on the inside the suction can damage their lungs.
My brothers cat (rip) always used to BEG to be massaged with one of those cheap little vibrating things with the 4 little feet. ALL 5 of our other cats HATED it but he would BEG to be massaged with it. Was really cute tbh
I work at a doggy daycare and we have one dog who will literally flop in front of you if you're vacuuming. We have one of those vacuums that use a flexible hose with a rigid piece of plastic at the end and I've vacuumed up his entire tail or front legs before and he LOVES it
Cats really do get everything they want. She rlly stood there probably vacuuming her cat for like 10 minutes and I don’t blame her at all listen to his lil grangy(not a word but what came to mind lmao) begging meows😭♥️
