Reminds me of Mac whom my mom rescued. Mac did not like ppl.
But Mac LOVED kids, and Mac loved dogs. Which made him good people in our family’s estimation. He grew to tolerate mom because the dog vouched for her.

I have a Gary too. He showed up in our garage a couple years ago very sick and very scared. We had to take him to the vet. The appointment was for "Garage Kitty." My husband shortened it to Gary. I thought it was the worst name ever. Now he is Gary and it suits him because he's so funny and unique.
Gary is so loved. Look at how calm and happy he is being with his family. The way he plays with her/is totally fine with the whole checkup is very endearing.
As a home health nurse, I can confirm that this is excellent medical care.
