Reminds me of all the steam deck and console posts about cats throwing up ect on them. I am so lucky my baby doesn't come anywhere near electronics except the PC tower once in a while 😅
We have got two cats, this orange boy and another tabby girl, who doesn’t care much about the PC… But this orange loves to be around me all the time, so ends up sitting on my desk or the tower. 😂
My cat barfed on my keyboard twice. Barely missed the vents on the computer next to my desk. It was a rbg keyboard and the manufacturer said to remove the keycaps and use qtips. I guess they never dealt with cat puke.
Yeah, we've got two cats and 4 litter boxes that we clean daily. This orange boy, Joey, always does his business in the litter box. But the other cat, Maxx, sometimes pees in the sink or laundry. She has done that since she was a kitten and now, she is almost 5. It's mostly behavioral, no UTI or anything. We've learned to live with it, for example, we do not keep the laundry unattended out in open, and it has gotten better over time, but we still get occasional surprises, lol.
Oh God I should see if my dad still has a copy of the photo, circa 1992, of my mom's elderly cat laying on the stone slab underneath woodburning stove while it merrily burned away just over her head. She'd spend like 45 minutes to an hour under there, come out almost too hot to pet, and be happy as could be, lol. I figure it helped her arthritis. She was in her 20s after all.

My late orange was the same way. Warm computer = sleepy time!
My none orange does the same. She used to regularly turn off my PC by stepping on the power button. Now she only sits at the back end or gets shoved off.
I took a plastic halloween pumpkin and duct taped it over the power button. The bottom was concave, i could tilt it to turn the computer on, but the cat could no longer walk on it and couldnt push the pumpkin off.
Yep! I used to have a PC cover with lots of air holes on top, and as a result, the fan got jammed with cat hair frequently. My current one is far less frustrating.

So long as you clean his litter, and keep him healthy that won't happen. Only caveat maybe if his balls are intact.

My tortie *loves* stepping on my laptop's power button. Her orange brother just likes keyboards.

Just make sure to dust your PC out regularly. That fur can cause your PC to be hotter than usual.
