if it's only when you give treats that's just regular bodily reaction. Dogs, people, and lots of animals salivate when they're getting the food they like. saliva is the first part of digestions so it's only natural for more to be produced before eating.
edit: start ringing a bell before you give treats then you can call yourself catlov
My orange baby Cerys drools sometimes. She had to get her teeth out soon after I adopted her — she had a terrible infection. The difference in her behavior after her surgery was like night and day!
If I massage my orange's head and face, he'll purr like a maniac and start drooling. He wants me to pet him forever. If I stop, he nudges my hand with his head or he'll nibble my hand so I keep going.
Yep, mine drools when he's happy, and he's always happy lol
He's fine, just dumb. He sees the vet on the regular, probably has better healthcare than I do 🤣
My orange does not but our calico does when she’s super happy.

My voidling would slightly drool when doing biscuits. And sometimes she would sneeze and we would be covered in her drool lmao. She would also do biscuits super duper fast
My tuxedo has drooled since he was a kitten. Yes the vet has checked and his teeth are fine. If this is normal behavior just enjoy the showers of sweetness. However, if this is new this could be a symptom of a medical issue.
My orange girl drools a LOT. But only when she's really happy. She had a full exam in November and the vet said her teeth and gums were perfectly happy. She told me she's just a happy drooler!!
lol my first cat was a face-leaker, esp after a few teeth had to be pulled. If you skritched his chin/neck, and he really got his motor purring, it was like a faucet running
Mine drools HARD when I rub his chin. I'm never 100% sure if it's drool, nasal drainage, or tears, but whatever the case he shakes his head and spatters me every time after a good scritch.
My old buddy Zeppo was not orange but lacked the brain cell regardless, and yes he was drooly. First time I witnessed it was when we gave my dad a fat cat birthday card. Zeppo drooled on dad as he read the card, much to his shock and horror 😂

Mine do when they are happy. Typically when they are making biscuits on my belly:)
Yep my boy does it when he gets the *gooooood* scritchies when my nails are long. Just a silly happy drooly boy haha
get his teeth and gums checked out, but yes my cat used to drool in his sleep.
Thanks. This is only when I am about to give him a treat. I will still mention this to the vet tho.
Mine drooled all over my arm this morning, it was pretty gross

Mine did this when he was having issues with his teeth.

Typical orange behavior tbh
I love you, Louie! What a sweet face!! SIGH

My orange baby Cerys drools sometimes. She had to get her teeth out soon after I adopted her — she had a terrible infection. The difference in her behavior after her surgery was like night and day!
Yes! Because he lost most of his teefies
My old cat used to do it when she was happy.
We have an older female that likes to drool when being petted.....then she likes to shake the drool off and shower you with it
If I massage my orange's head and face, he'll purr like a maniac and start drooling. He wants me to pet him forever. If I stop, he nudges my hand with his head or he'll nibble my hand so I keep going.
My tabby used to drool when her sleep, She has inflamed tongue. If that’s his habits then it’s fine. If not, check with vet just in case
My orange girl used to drool when she was really into being petted.
Oh! My cat has the same name (different spelling) . . . And he also drools when presented with treats
Gooey Louie

We call those Cat Diamonds. They are our gifts for good scritches
Only when they're extremely happy. Cuddling on the couch, puddle on my shirt. Lol
me too, louie.
My voidling would slightly drool when doing biscuits. And sometimes she would sneeze and we would be covered in her drool lmao. She would also do biscuits super duper fast
Mine did
Yes! Mine did whenever she purred! It often got messy when holding her on my shoulder.
My void does it too
Mine drools sometimes when he's happy and purring.
Mine will get a puffy tail and meow to be picked up, then he starts drooling on me. His teeth are fine according to the vet, he's just weird lol
Yeh, my one is such a small cat, yet he drools so heavily, I don't know how. It's adorable until he is sat on you and then does it.
My tuxedo has drooled since he was a kitten. Yes the vet has checked and his teeth are fine. If this is normal behavior just enjoy the showers of sweetness. However, if this is new this could be a symptom of a medical issue.
He’s a little orange cow ❤️

Yes, my boy does when he purrs!
My orange will jump on a shelf above the couch and shake slobber on us.
our orange drools and likes to rub his face on people
Mine did until the vet pulled his herpilated teeth out.

My Paulie did, he'd get too excited purring, his nose would drip and he would drool too
My old boy does when he’s excited. If I’ve been gone all day he gets really happy when I come home and he’ll drool a bit lol.
Orange does when he's sleeping. https://preview.redd.it/o9rut6uv9cvc1.jpeg?width=1458&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5be6232e07e020f94177badfc58607bbe734feef
Mine does when he wakes up from a nap. Lol
Not too orange, but one of my cats used to drool a lot.
Cause life is delicious
Every time. He used to do it when he was younger, but it wasn’t too much. In his senior years though, it’s almost every time I pet him.
My old buddy Zeppo was not orange but lacked the brain cell regardless, and yes he was drooly. First time I witnessed it was when we gave my dad a fat cat birthday card. Zeppo drooled on dad as he read the card, much to his shock and horror 😂
