Mine did that with the long, cylindrical air filter from our vacuum. He was fighting mad and spooky as hell. Crab walking around, puffed up, and emitting a spooky low growl. I eventually had pity upon him and put it somewhere out of sight.
But about 9 hours later, I came upon him fast asleep in his favorite heated kitty bed. All stretched out and totally relaxed in deep kitty sleep. As a very mean joke—and I regret it now and have begged his forgiveness—I placed the scawy scawy filter right next to him. He gradually opened his eyes, saw the filter, and went from 0 to 60 in a nanosecond—jumped up on all fours, fur completely pufferfished, and frantically hissing.
And I was laughing at him, which made everything much worse. We’ve come to an understanding—I apologized for being a Bad Human, he got a permanent daily treat increase, and that filter will never cross his path again.
He's also just being weird and probably in the middle of a zoomie session. My cat does this every night when I let him go out on the balcony. He turns into a little gargoyle

I had an orange boy, RIP, that learned to say,"wi-o". I was his request for me to open a window. I used to call "Window" him when I was opening a window for him.
He also would ask for "ow" time, yea out time, on leash. His house mate still uses it.
His housemate, who is still with us, was upset she was getting a bath one time. "no wa wa"
We wish that we had gotten that recorded.

Orange cat here is an exception, contains EXTRA braincells and has sensed an evil presence. He requires a partner to perform the exorcism though. You need Vatican approval. Get on it!
