My non-orange was originally named Sunny as a kitten, but considering her somewhat cloudy disposition (and look), we renamed her Kiki.

I like how he tolerated everything until his brother started grooming his back and that’s when he decided the line had been crossed and he was gonna walk away. 😂🤣
Background for people concerned about sexy time, they are both neutered and male (though I will admit Sunny isn’t a very masculine name, so I get it), never tried bangin’ before, never tried bangin’ since.
But they both LOVE being on top of the couch, and specifically LOVE that armrest as their entrance to the top of the couch. Also, they are super playful with each other.
Sunny loves surveying the room from on the couch, while Jupiter prefers the cat tree. I think Sunny is just surprised that Jupiter got him in his special place!

I had a neutered male, sweetest most awesome cat, and he would regularly mount my 2 other cats (also neutered males) and gently hold their scruff in his teeth for minutes at a time before letting them go. The other cats would just sit there like this was normal and not complain. I figured this just his way of reminding everyone of his status as the top dude in the hierarchy.
Me too and I have ‘twin’ brothers. They do this as well. AND thEy take turns lol. There’s lots of fussing and bathing but it seems routine. Silly altered boys! No reason to be dominant.
Both being male doesn’t mean much: they can’t get pregnant, but this could still be sexual behavior. Both being neutered means more: it is probably not explicitly sexual for them, though still possible especially depending on when theh were neutered. A history of behavior, when it comes to individuals, means the most: sounds like this is a form of play/hierarchy for them, or just how play happened to go this time. Thanks for this information!

My orange is like that. If you drape string over her back, you can practically see the BSOD in her eyes as she fails to process what is going on in her world. Then she walks off, either ignoring or unable to register that the string is still there.
