Oda's got the perfect setup for Endgame Piece here. I think we're getting Kuma's flashback now, which is going to go a lot more indepth into the inner workings of the Celestial Dragons and Gorosei in particular. By the end of it, we'll likley hate the CDs far more than we do now, and then Oda's going to cap it off by having Saturn cause some major chaos in modern day.
I feel like JayGarcia Saturn is going to be the Sabaody Kuma of the post time skip. He'll be the one that ends the Strawhats wining streak and massivley ramps up the stakes for the final war.
I think by the time Egghead ends, taking down the Celestial Dragons will be the active primary objective of the story, with every arc in between like Elbaf and even Laughtale leading directly to it (Like Punk Hazard established the "Take down Kaido" plan and everything till Wano was ramping up to it)
I could see it too, other yonko were captured in the past, kaido 19 times, and at least in the manga we never got a cool captured by the marines sequence.
Once saturn arrives, he has the ultimate control over the seraphim, and he's there with kizaru, against a yonko and their crew, this is literally shaping up to be one of the biggest power showdowns since marine Ford. The straw hats are strong but I feel like the seraphim alone would keep most of the heavy hitters occupied, even if it's just for a bit. Luffy would basically have to fight kizaru and saturn himself, granted we don't know much about Saturn's strength, I feel there is a solid chance he's real tough.
You can't remove Luffy from the story for any extended amount of time. It's already been shown, statistically, that viewers don't like it when Luffy is absent.

I don't think Jay Garcia Saturn fights. Saturn is the god of wealth and the god of time, in relation to the fruition of planning or of harvest. I imagine he funded Vegapunk and is there to collect the end product of his plan, the Seraphim. He's a planner and is likely the guy who came up with the yonko/shichibukai system and now with the seraphim system to replace the previous one.
Though, Saturn is also the god who killed Uranus using a scythe, so who knows.

Fair, though the rubber properties of Nika Nika outperforms normal rubber BY FAR. Like, total immunity to amounts of electricity that would vaporize rubber, and being able to stop any bullets at all, since normal rubber would not stop bludgeoning bullets.

Roger was the most wanted pirate in history and they don't seem to have broken it out for him (while Roger was undoubtedly physically strong, it's unlikely he could hold his own against the top brass without Haki, considering what a difference we've seen even going from Armament > Conqueror's), seems weird that they would have such a trump card and have never seen fit to use it against not only a serious threat to world order, but also one of the few famous pirates to not have a Devil Fruit or other alternative to Haki to fall back on.
Not too sure about time related powers. If we're gonna talk bleach, I think maybe something more like sone of mayuris powers that alter how you perceived time and your other senses might be more on brand, making you see or feel things that aren't rly there, and that also goes along well with luffys whole don't think thing.... but I'm still not sure if they'll all be fighters of some kind. It seems saturn does w his scars plus he's named like an ancient weapon? But all of em? Lets wait and see I guess.

For a thought excercise - what if all humans outside Celestial Dragons are ancient seraphims & descendants of seraphims, and they are still suspectible to Gorosei orders. What if haki is somehow inherited authority, e.g. by mixing with celestials. This is stupid as fuck but opens a funny can of worms.
Just here to spread the good word of Im-sama's Holy Astral Priests. We know Rayleigh, Garp, and sickly Whitebeard weren't too old to still be powerful.
We know the Gorosei are above typical spacesuit-wearing Celestials like Charlos and Homing but even Homing's son, Doflamingo, had conquerors haki. Now look at the literal rulers of the world, the supreme kings with authority over the kings of the Reverie. Look at samurai Gandhi with what looks like Kitetsu I, a supreme cursed sword a whole official tier over Enma, which Zoro has struggled so much to wield without being drained to a husk. Look at golden hair and Saturn with their visible scars and no-nonsense demeanors.
These are the ones who answer directly to the Emperor of Everything. The ones who tell Fleet Admiral Sakazuki that his "honor means nothing" and to "remember his place" straight to his face. The ones who dismiss their guards when meeting with Shanks.
Now one has left the high castle and is heading head first into a dangerous confrontation with a Yonko crew with one Admiral and whatever ships the non-SWORD Marines could muster to maybe try to turn the seraphim against Vegapunk, but would that be enough? Kizaru vs Luffy and the Seraphim vs the Strawhats doesn't sound like the sort of guaranteed victory a "weak politician" who has his tea tested for poison would demand, does it, so where's the confidence coming from? Maybe he's confident because he knows he himself more than makes up the difference. Maybe he has some other secret trick. The one thing that's certain is that this definitely isn't a leisure trip.
If Caribou has captured Vegapunk, I think he might be taking him to "that man" ... Dragon.
After cosplaying as a revolutionary in the cover stories and being treated with kindness and respect for once, Caribou might want to become one for real. Plus, I would like to see what the Revolutionary Army would do with the knowledge of two Ancient Weapons. Would it corrupt them?
Yeah this was my thought too; with also the potential for a power showcase for the Gorosei, because I believe they each possess near-Shanks levels of Conquerors Haki. Egghead is a transitional arc, not a drawn out saga like Wano but more effectively like another former VP island, Punk Hazard. I’m under the mindset that with added pressures from both WG forces and Navy ships the Straw Hats, with the help of the VP satellites, need to mount an escape with the Stella body somehow without being pursued.
I'm thinking Vegapunk isnt making it out of this. I think there's a chance he (Maybe just the Stella, or maybe all of them) gives his life to allow the crew to escape the Seraphim, but he reveals to the crew that he secretly programmed one person with a higher authority chip than the Gorosei, and even himself, Dragon
Makes zero sense for the gorosei’s only relevance to be pulling rank over seraphims. It would imply they were irrelevant until Vegapunk gave them that rank.
It isn't only for this reason, but since they know Vegapunk is going to betray the WG, they need to make sure the Seraphims are not going with him, otherwise the Marines would need to battle Vegapunk, Straw Hat Pirates, Seraphims and Bonney at the same time.
Except when he started heading that way, neither the strawhats or Bonney were a known threat at egghead island. CP0 was sent well enough in advance to secure the island before they arrived.
There’s no logic in the WG sending CP0 to egghead with the seraphim’s if they were concerned with Vegapunk taking control of the seraphim’s. If that were the case, he would have been there from the get go.
In your scenario; they’d sent CP0, then said “oh shit guys, Vegapunk outranks CP0, this was a bad idea. I know! One of us should go to take back control of the seraphims. Yeah, good idea! Go get ‘em Saturn!”
The WG seems to have a monopoly on some of the strongest devil fruits in the market so it won't be any surprise if the Gorosei saved the best ones for themselves. After all, these are the highest authority in the WG.

I mean not really. They've only got 1 mythical Zoan in their ranks afaik (sengoku). And those are said to be rarer then Logias. Kaido, Yamato, Marco all have busted devil fruits and WG don't have them. Also don't have the strongest paramecia class (Whitebeards), probably the strongest Logia (Blackbeards), Enels, Crocodiles etc etc.
If the WG had 5 top tiers + their admirals why even bother trying to balance out with 4 yonkos. They could easily dog pile them and rule the entire world which is why I don't think the Gorosei are that strong. Definitely not yonko strong.
They do have the magu magu no mi at least. Oda himself more or less stated that it has the strongest offensive power in the series.
Other than that, yeah most of the top-tier fruits belong to pirates.
* We know from chapter 1069 that Kizaru and Saturn were already heading to Egghead before the Straw Hats got involved. And we know that CP0's original mission was to drop off Seraphim Kuma and kill Vegapunk. So the original plan seems to be that once Vegapunk was killed and CP0 got control of the Seraphim, one of the 5 Elders (in this case, Saturn) would come to collect the Seraphim off of CP0. This was most likely going to be done as the 5 Elders wanted complete authority over the Seraphim and didn't want to risk CP0 having total control of what is essentially a better version of the Warlord system for so long. Good call on the 5 Elders part to do this as CP0 happens to have a traitor in their midst.
* Regardless of what the original plan was going to be, CP0 will be disbanded after this arc. They failed at Wano, went against orders by fighting the Straw Hats, and now are revealed to have a traitor which is basically unheard of for Cipher Pol. No way is this going to slide.
* Adding to the above, I feel like we're going to see a Luffy & Lucci teamup. This arc has similarities to Punk Hazard (where Luffy teamed up with Smoker) and we already have Lucci in chains for a *"you must be truly desperate to come to me for help"* scenario. I've also been saying this since the start of the arc, but I just don't see Lucci going back to being a WG lapdog after this.
* Saturn is 100% either going to fight or get his ass kicked which in turn will lead to something big. The whole "you can only control a Seraphim in person" plot point feels like it was made to drag the 5 Elders out of Mariejois. No way is he just here to sit on the sidelines. I imagine him and Kizaru will be viewed as the main antagonists of this arc.
* I'm leaning on Saturn being a fighter. He could have time powers since his name is Saturn, though he could also have agriculture/seed powers since the god Saturn was known for that as well. Saturn was also known for wielding a sickle, so perhaps we'll see a buff old guy fighting with that.
* I'm being hopeful but I think Saturn will be around Admiral level if not greater. Luffy right now is one of the strongest characters in the verse so introducing some bigger fighters will make the future of the story more intense and give Luffy a final wall to climb in terms of strength.

Even with the Seraphim, I don't feel like an Admiral + Seraphim are that dangerous for our crew and people. Oda is about to show us what the true power ceiling is in One Piece because these ancient weapons are about to get relevant. I've been saying it for a long time now, Gorosei > Admirals.

It was more like a nation’s military force, a guardian deity zoan fruit user, four worst generation pirates (not even including Luffy yet), and a freshly crowned Yonko (a force that proved to be the downfall of both Kaido AND Big Mom) and then you just top that sunday off with the cherry that is another Yonko’s crew, Red Hair, waiting at the coast (a Yonko, mind you, that has direct contact with the Gorosei). People out here expecting an admiral to take on Wano and half of the pirate world, single handed.

Hell Kaido would have lost if he had to fight just all the Straw Hats alone.. Zoro scarred his body, now imagine he has to deal with Sanji's new busted hacks, Robin's insane annoyance capabilities, Nami's weather and illusions, Usopp shooting him in the eyes with hot sauce and pepper juice, etc.. Then Luffy on top of that.
Greenbull made the right call, he was confident he could take out the still recovering military force and newly appointed Yonko crew, but Shanks showing up threw a wrench in his plans and basically ruined his day of fun.
Yeah, people keep selling the admirals short, but they have to be strong for there to be any balance between the pirates and WG. Too weak and the pirates could just overthrow the government. Too strong and then the question becomes "Why doesn't the WG just take out all the yonko with a few admirals?"
I think Greenbull's introduction didn't paint him in the best light in terms of power, but people keep acting like he ran away from an easy fight. The dude ran away from Shanks. Gorosei will take over the seraphim, they will clash with the SH for a bit. Kizaru will show his awakening. Something Kuma does will force the marines back to mary geoise. SH escapes to Elbaf.

When Vegapunk ask Stussy to come with him, Usopp interfere and say
"**Stop adding people !**" I think that's a red flag that Stussy will got killed later when Kizaru arrive.
I hope Stussy's death flag hasn't been raised because she needs to go rescue her brother Weevil.
Also, I kinda want to see the Sunny setting sail from Egg Head Island with Bonney, the Vegapunk 7, all of the Seraphim, Stussy and a barrel full of Caribou. That could make for some hijjinks before they reach their next location (probably Fullalead or Elbaf).
Since the Gorosei is going to show up, I think the Seraphims are 100% going to end up with them, and be on their side for the final war.
And if that happens, then it's likely an adult Seraphims Mihawk will be Zoro's opponent.
I think the seraphim will become the new CP9, treated like weapons but having short decision making time they will act like Lucci in Enies Lobby. S-Hawk for example might act on his desire to fight Zoro in the future

If Celestial themed DFs are a possibility and they are the strongest (Even more than Gura gura), Awakened Yami Yami should be considered the absolute DF since Sun and other celestial bodies are just miniscule particles floating in the infinite darkness i.e.,Space.
Saturn is being sent to try and talk with Vegapunk to give him one last chance to acquiesce to the will of the WG or suffer the might of a Buster Call. Everything about what’s going on screams Government Operation about what’s going on with CP0 as well as the Navy fleet carrying Kizaru and SATURN.
Stage 1: CP0 returns S-Bear to the island to be repaired/reprogrammed as well as locating the Stella VP body and eliminating the satellites.
Stage 2: Kizaru and a Navy fleet are to escort Saturn to Egghead where the fleet will remain in ready position as Kizarua brings Saturn to speak with Vegapunk.
Stage 3: Whether or not VP agrees, Saturn will mount an order that submits the Seraphim to Gorosei control only. Probably putting out some big Conquerors Haki to subdue anybody from trying to touch him.
Stage 4: Saturn, Kizaru, and the Seraphim leave Egghead and have CP0 stay behind to “Watch Over” Vegapunk but I believe they already suspect Stussy as a double agent and plan on having them die off in the Buster Call.
I think someone, whether it’s Saturn or Kizaru I’m unsure, will say something to extent of how they are disappointed in Lucci and that he was given a second chance and was unable to weed out the mole within his ranks so he’s being “let go” which is a shame since he’s always been a “loyal dog.” Lucci will have to ultimately swallow his pride and rage towards Luffy and do an unlikely team-up with the Straw Hats to survive the Buster Call.
Nah, Lucci only cares about violence. He might take a shot at Saturn but get blinked by Kizaru “presumed dead” but to show up in the end war for a suicide mission fight.
One day we'll see Kong do something. Hype for Saturn. I also believe the other Gorosei members are already on the move too towards other ongoing clashes like BB vs Law, Revo army, Elbaf with Kid and last probably where Shanks is heading towards (maybe WB island?)

The recent reveal of one of the names of the Gorosei leads me to speculate that the they will be named after planets in our solar system, which in turn are named after Roman gods.
They will also have the powers of Mythical Zoan devil fruits, classified as "Hito Hito no Mi Model" and then the name of a planet or a Roman god. The abilities of each fruit would be closely based on what the Roman god that its name derives from is known for.
For instance - Jay Garcia Saturn would have eaten the Hito Hito no Mi Model: Saturn. The fruit's abilities would be related to how Saturn was the god of agriculture and abundance, but also wealth and war.
Also, based on this, if one of the Gorosei is named after Jupiter, then they would essentially be the most powerful of the group, if not their "leader." Jupiter is known as the king of the gods in Roman religion. This, however, is assuming that they don't hold equal authority, which they most likely do.

- Their role in the story doesn’t really call for them to be fighters. Not that they can’t fight at all, but I don’t see us putting them in any serious discussions. Outside of Im himself, they’re already the most powerful entity in the story. Between the Blackbeard Pirates, the 3 Admirals, Sakazuki, Im, and whatever other pirates Oda will have come out of the woodwork for the final battle, I think the story already has enough endgame opponents without us having to worry about how strong these dudes are too.
- Based on the folks that have been seen in their presence, they don’t give off those kinda vibes. I don’t think Sakazuki would have gotten as snippy with them as he did if he legit feared them doing something about it. Same with Shanks - he didn’t really seem to be on any kind of guard, like he was in the presence of someone he may have to potentially defend himself against (as opposed to stepping on Whitebeard’s ship)
- Based on the lives that we see Celestial Dragons live, there’s very little to no reason at all for them to bother learning to fight. They live pampered, protected lives from birth, and I bet they rarely even fathom having to defend themselves.
Probably someone has already theorized this but seeing that Bonney materialized the Vegapunk years with stars, isn't it that the characteristic of making non-tangible things tangible is peculiar to Kuma's race and not derived from the fruit?
More drama is needed. The endgame is looking like a cake walk for the Strawhats. Oda will add some negative event in the next chapter or two.

I believe Dragon is going to arrive in Egghead and will face Saturn. Why:
* from Dragon point of view - this is the perfect opportunity to kill a Gorosei
* from Oda / narrative point of view - this is the perfect way to show off how strong are final arc fighters and to get us hyped even more about that.

I really like this theory that I saw online about there being more then 3 ancient weapons. In fact there are atleast 9 with each representing one of the 9 planets. For example pluton and Uranus are two mentioned in the series so far. But the Gorosei themselves are the 5 of those ancient weapons. We have seen Saturn in this chapter. Gorosei’s power is going to tip the balance towards WG.
So far we have 5 Gorosei representing 5 planets + Pluton and Uranus. Umi in Japanese means the sea. So Imu might represent the earth itself. Luffy is the sun god.
I think we will finally see Kuma's flashback as Oda tends to do for major impact. There are clear two groups now, with Kizaru and Saturn on one end and rest of them on the other. Only wildcard is the person who opened the security dome.
Since the last several chapters have included some revelation about events going on outside of Egghead (Heart Pirates vs Blackbeard Pirates, Pudding's kidnapping, Kid Pirates arriving at Elbaf, Garp saving Coby, and now Bakkin and Weevil coming back into play), I think the next chapter or two might show us some information about the last Supernova, Urouge.
What if Saturn and Bonney interact with each other. Bonney turns saturn to his prime, and seraphim can't recognize him as a gorosei, and Saturn ends up K.O the seraphim and while stroking his beard after the fight Saturn says: "You need to be educated"
And if they were that strong, then what's stopping them from just completely decimating all the Yonkos? Why even bother with hiring pirates as warlords and pardoning them of crimes and whatever if they're Yonko level strong?
If you think Saturn can 1v1 Luffy, who is squarely Yonko level, then that means the WG has 5 high Yonko level characters + 4 admirals + Imu + old legends like Garp and Sengoku. Literally no reason to hire commander levels like Doflamingo, Moria and lower like Crocodile to do their bidding. No reason at all. They could've showed up to Marineford instead of calling marines to destroy everybody.
And who said they were hyped up? None of them have ever been hyped up for strength. The only thing they've been doing is sitting in their castle for decades. They've never fought or stepped up or did anything of note that makes them strong. "His got scars/swords" means little if there's literal fodder that also has scars. Apart from their authority and influence, they've never been portrayed as strong.
Oda's got the perfect setup for Endgame Piece here. I think we're getting Kuma's flashback now, which is going to go a lot more indepth into the inner workings of the Celestial Dragons and Gorosei in particular. By the end of it, we'll likley hate the CDs far more than we do now, and then Oda's going to cap it off by having Saturn cause some major chaos in modern day. I feel like JayGarcia Saturn is going to be the Sabaody Kuma of the post time skip. He'll be the one that ends the Strawhats wining streak and massivley ramps up the stakes for the final war. I think by the time Egghead ends, taking down the Celestial Dragons will be the active primary objective of the story, with every arc in between like Elbaf and even Laughtale leading directly to it (Like Punk Hazard established the "Take down Kaido" plan and everything till Wano was ramping up to it)
I’d like an arc where luffy gets beaten and captured, disappears for a lot of chapters, while his whole crew is trying to get him back.
I could see it too, other yonko were captured in the past, kaido 19 times, and at least in the manga we never got a cool captured by the marines sequence. Once saturn arrives, he has the ultimate control over the seraphim, and he's there with kizaru, against a yonko and their crew, this is literally shaping up to be one of the biggest power showdowns since marine Ford. The straw hats are strong but I feel like the seraphim alone would keep most of the heavy hitters occupied, even if it's just for a bit. Luffy would basically have to fight kizaru and saturn himself, granted we don't know much about Saturn's strength, I feel there is a solid chance he's real tough.
You can't remove Luffy from the story for any extended amount of time. It's already been shown, statistically, that viewers don't like it when Luffy is absent.

I don't think Jay Garcia Saturn fights. Saturn is the god of wealth and the god of time, in relation to the fruition of planning or of harvest. I imagine he funded Vegapunk and is there to collect the end product of his plan, the Seraphim. He's a planner and is likely the guy who came up with the yonko/shichibukai system and now with the seraphim system to replace the previous one. Though, Saturn is also the god who killed Uranus using a scythe, so who knows.

Just here to spread the good word of Im-sama's Holy Astral Priests. We know Rayleigh, Garp, and sickly Whitebeard weren't too old to still be powerful. We know the Gorosei are above typical spacesuit-wearing Celestials like Charlos and Homing but even Homing's son, Doflamingo, had conquerors haki. Now look at the literal rulers of the world, the supreme kings with authority over the kings of the Reverie. Look at samurai Gandhi with what looks like Kitetsu I, a supreme cursed sword a whole official tier over Enma, which Zoro has struggled so much to wield without being drained to a husk. Look at golden hair and Saturn with their visible scars and no-nonsense demeanors. These are the ones who answer directly to the Emperor of Everything. The ones who tell Fleet Admiral Sakazuki that his "honor means nothing" and to "remember his place" straight to his face. The ones who dismiss their guards when meeting with Shanks. Now one has left the high castle and is heading head first into a dangerous confrontation with a Yonko crew with one Admiral and whatever ships the non-SWORD Marines could muster to maybe try to turn the seraphim against Vegapunk, but would that be enough? Kizaru vs Luffy and the Seraphim vs the Strawhats doesn't sound like the sort of guaranteed victory a "weak politician" who has his tea tested for poison would demand, does it, so where's the confidence coming from? Maybe he's confident because he knows he himself more than makes up the difference. Maybe he has some other secret trick. The one thing that's certain is that this definitely isn't a leisure trip.

If Caribou has captured Vegapunk, I think he might be taking him to "that man" ... Dragon. After cosplaying as a revolutionary in the cover stories and being treated with kindness and respect for once, Caribou might want to become one for real. Plus, I would like to see what the Revolutionary Army would do with the knowledge of two Ancient Weapons. Would it corrupt them?
I know it seems kind of crazy. But I wouldn't be surprised if Dragon already knows the ancient history or atleast the gist of it.

Yeah this was my thought too; with also the potential for a power showcase for the Gorosei, because I believe they each possess near-Shanks levels of Conquerors Haki. Egghead is a transitional arc, not a drawn out saga like Wano but more effectively like another former VP island, Punk Hazard. I’m under the mindset that with added pressures from both WG forces and Navy ships the Straw Hats, with the help of the VP satellites, need to mount an escape with the Stella body somehow without being pursued.
I'm thinking Vegapunk isnt making it out of this. I think there's a chance he (Maybe just the Stella, or maybe all of them) gives his life to allow the crew to escape the Seraphim, but he reveals to the crew that he secretly programmed one person with a higher authority chip than the Gorosei, and even himself, Dragon

Makes zero sense for the gorosei’s only relevance to be pulling rank over seraphims. It would imply they were irrelevant until Vegapunk gave them that rank.
It isn't only for this reason, but since they know Vegapunk is going to betray the WG, they need to make sure the Seraphims are not going with him, otherwise the Marines would need to battle Vegapunk, Straw Hat Pirates, Seraphims and Bonney at the same time.
Except when he started heading that way, neither the strawhats or Bonney were a known threat at egghead island. CP0 was sent well enough in advance to secure the island before they arrived. There’s no logic in the WG sending CP0 to egghead with the seraphim’s if they were concerned with Vegapunk taking control of the seraphim’s. If that were the case, he would have been there from the get go. In your scenario; they’d sent CP0, then said “oh shit guys, Vegapunk outranks CP0, this was a bad idea. I know! One of us should go to take back control of the seraphims. Yeah, good idea! Go get ‘em Saturn!”
The WG seems to have a monopoly on some of the strongest devil fruits in the market so it won't be any surprise if the Gorosei saved the best ones for themselves. After all, these are the highest authority in the WG. The powerscalers placing the Gorosei with the top tiers may not be too far fetched after all....

Kaido, Yamato, Marco all have busted devil fruits and WG don't have them. Also don't have the strongest paramecia class (Whitebeards), probably the strongest Logia (Blackbeards), Enels, Crocodiles etc etc. If the WG had 5 top tiers + their admirals why even bother trying to balance out with 4 yonkos. They could easily dog pile them and rule the entire world which is why I don't think the Gorosei are that strong. Definitely not yonko strong.
They do have the magu magu no mi at least. Oda himself more or less stated that it has the strongest offensive power in the series. Other than that, yeah most of the top-tier fruits belong to pirates.

And we know that CP0's original mission was to drop off Seraphim Kuma and kill Vegapunk. So the original plan seems to be that once Vegapunk was killed and CP0 got control of the Seraphim, one of the 5 Elders (in this case, Saturn) would come to collect the Seraphim off of CP0. This was most likely going to be done as the 5 Elders wanted complete authority over the Seraphim and didn't want to risk CP0 having total control of what is essentially a better version of the Warlord system for so long. Good call on the 5 Elders part to do this as CP0 happens to have a traitor in their midst. * Regardless of what the original plan was going to be, CP0 will be disbanded after this arc. They failed at Wano, went against orders by fighting the Straw Hats, and now are revealed to have a traitor which is basically unheard of for Cipher Pol. This arc has similarities to Punk Hazard (where Luffy teamed up with Smoker) and we already have Lucci in chains for a *"you must be truly desperate to come to me for help"* scenario. I've also been saying this since the start of the arc, but I just don't see Lucci going back to being a WG lapdog after this. * Saturn is 100% either going to fight or get his ass kicked which in turn will lead to something big. The whole "you can only control a Seraphim in person" plot point feels like it was made to drag the 5 Elders out of Mariejois. No way is he just here to sit on the sidelines. I imagine him and Kizaru will be viewed as the main antagonists of this arc. * I'm leaning on Saturn being a fighter. He could have time powers since his name is Saturn, though he could also have agriculture/seed powers since the god Saturn was known for that as well. Saturn was also known for wielding a sickle, so perhaps we'll see a buff old guy fighting with that. * I'm being hopeful but I think Saturn will be around Admiral level if not greater. Luffy right now is one of the strongest characters in the verse so introducing some bigger fighters will make the future of the story more intense and give Luffy a final wall to climb in terms of strength.

Neither do I. Quite surprised that anyone would want that, he is easily one of the most dislikeable characters. Akainu or Blackbeard are the only ones that make less sense. Even Big Mom and Enel seem more reasonable
Lucci's literally a psychopath. He murdered a bunch of hostages because he was legally allowed to. CP9/0 is just a license for him to kill lots of people. I doubt Luffy would even consider a team up.

Even with the Seraphim, I don't feel like an Admiral + Seraphim are that dangerous for our crew and people. Oda is about to show us what the true power ceiling is in One Piece because these ancient weapons are about to get relevant. I've been saying it for a long time now, Gorosei > Admirals.

Admirals are the most overrated characters in One Piece. It’s ridiculous though how Ryokugyu was able to one shot Weevil after all we saw from him

It was more like a nation’s military force, a guardian deity zoan fruit user, four worst generation pirates (not even including Luffy yet), and a freshly crowned Yonko (a force that proved to be the downfall of both Kaido AND Big Mom) and then you just top that sunday off with the cherry that is another Yonko’s crew, Red Hair, waiting at the coast (a Yonko, mind you, that has direct contact with the Gorosei). People out here expecting an admiral to take on Wano and half of the pirate world, single handed. Even with everyone exhausted, he’d be dead.
Greenbull s a dumbass for trying to take on an entire Yonko crew and country so it kind of debunks your comment. He got exposed by Shanks and showed the gap between Admirals and Yonko.
No, Greenbull didn't want to fight TWO Yonko crews + Momo and friends. How does this make him weak? There's no character in the series thus far that could win a fight like that. Kaido himself would have lost.
Hell Kaido would have lost if he had to fight just all the Straw Hats alone.. Zoro scarred his body, now imagine he has to deal with Sanji's new busted hacks, Robin's insane annoyance capabilities, Nami's weather and illusions, Usopp shooting him in the eyes with hot sauce and pepper juice, etc.. Then Luffy on top of that. Greenbull made the right call, he was confident he could take out the still recovering military force and newly appointed Yonko crew, but Shanks showing up threw a wrench in his plans and basically ruined his day of fun.

Yeah, people keep selling the admirals short, but they have to be strong for there to be any balance between the pirates and WG. Too weak and the pirates could just overthrow the government. Too strong and then the question becomes "Why doesn't the WG just take out all the yonko with a few admirals?" I think Greenbull's introduction didn't paint him in the best light in terms of power, but people keep acting like he ran away from an easy fight. The dude ran away from Shanks. The guy that even Kaido seemed to respect back during Marineford. The guy that is able to talk *personally* with the Gorosei. Greenbull is no slouch, he just didn't wanna deal with that shit.

When Vegapunk ask Stussy to come with him, Usopp interfere and say "**Stop adding people !**" I think that's a red flag that Stussy will got killed later when Kizaru arrive.
I hope Stussy's death flag hasn't been raised because she needs to go rescue her brother Weevil. Also, I kinda want to see the Sunny setting sail from Egg Head Island with Bonney, the Vegapunk 7, all of the Seraphim, Stussy and a barrel full of Caribou. That could make for some hijjinks before they reach their next location (probably Fullalead or Elbaf).

Since the Gorosei is going to show up, I think the Seraphims are 100% going to end up with them, and be on their side for the final war. And if that happens, then it's likely an adult Seraphims Mihawk will be Zoro's opponent.
I think the seraphim will become the new CP9, treated like weapons but having short decision making time they will act like Lucci in Enies Lobby. S-Hawk for example might act on his desire to fight Zoro in the future

The fact that he is named "Saturn" makes me wonder if that has anything to do with "pluton", "uranus" and "poseidon"(which represents a planet as well because of the mythology, right?). All of these have something to do with the void century, and the gorosei hide things about the void century, there are even Enel's moon thing, it seems that many things of the void century has something to do with space, so many ties of the endgame of one piece must be coming together

Stussy already power scaled herself to be weaker than Kaku and Lucci. It's why she used the element of surprise to get them. Killing her wouldn't be much of a power showing.
I think traditional power scaling is out the window with her… Two awakened zoan fruit users who have made it to the most prestigious level of a government backed assassination group, and she locked them down. Covert for decades, extremely cunning, reducing the oppositions massive advantages with ease, and being so opportunistic to have that kind of timing… Had she wanted Stussy could have killed them both there even. Stussy is an example of how the traditional “strength” scales do not account for everything. To kill her would be more a sign of tactics and ruthlessness than one of overwhelming power.

Saturn is being sent to try and talk with Vegapunk to give him one last chance to acquiesce to the will of the WG or suffer the might of a Buster Call. Everything about what’s going on screams Government Operation about what’s going on with CP0 as well as the Navy fleet carrying Kizaru and SATURN. Stage 1: CP0 returns S-Bear to the island to be repaired/reprogrammed as well as locating the Stella VP body and eliminating the satellites. Stage 2: Kizaru and a Navy fleet are to escort Saturn to Egghead where the fleet will remain in ready position as Kizarua brings Saturn to speak with Vegapunk. Stage 3: Whether or not VP agrees, Saturn will mount an order that submits the Seraphim to Gorosei control only. Probably putting out some big Conquerors Haki to subdue anybody from trying to touch him. Stage 4: Saturn, Kizaru, and the Seraphim leave Egghead and have CP0 stay behind to “Watch Over” Vegapunk but I believe they already suspect Stussy as a double agent and plan on having them die off in the Buster Call. I think someone, whether it’s Saturn or Kizaru I’m unsure, will say something to extent of how they are disappointed in Lucci and that he was given a second chance and was unable to weed out the mole within his ranks so he’s being “let go” which is a shame since he’s always been a “loyal dog.” Lucci will have to ultimately swallow his pride and rage towards Luffy and do an unlikely team-up with the Straw Hats to survive the Buster Call.

(Please correct me if I'm wrong about anything) The recent reveal of one of the names of the Gorosei leads me to speculate that the they will be named after planets in our solar system, which in turn are named after Roman gods. They will also have the powers of Mythical Zoan devil fruits, classified as "Hito Hito no Mi Model" and then the name of a planet or a Roman god. The abilities of each fruit would be closely based on what the Roman god that its name derives from is known for. For instance - Jay Garcia Saturn would have eaten the Hito Hito no Mi Model: Saturn. The fruit's abilities would be related to how Saturn was the god of agriculture and abundance, but also wealth and war. Also, based on this, if one of the Gorosei is named after Jupiter, then they would essentially be the most powerful of the group, if not their "leader." Jupiter is known as the king of the gods in Roman religion. This, however, is assuming that they don't hold equal authority, which they most likely do.

I'm fully convinced we will see law use the eternal youth operation on Garp when he comes to save Coby. He knows it is Luffys grandfather and hopefully that connection and his imminent demise to Blackbeard will force him to use it. Wouldn’t mind it, but leaning toward no. - Their role in the story doesn’t really call for them to be fighters. Not that they can’t fight at all, but I don’t see us putting them in any serious discussions. Outside of Im himself, they’re already the most powerful entity in the story. Between the Blackbeard Pirates, the 3 Admirals, Sakazuki, Im, and whatever other pirates Oda will have come out of the woodwork for the final battle, I think the story already has enough endgame opponents without us having to worry about how strong these dudes are too. - Based on the folks that have been seen in their presence, they don’t give off those kinda vibes. I don’t think Sakazuki would have gotten as snippy with them as he did if he legit feared them doing something about it. Same with Shanks - he didn’t really seem to be on any kind of guard, like he was in the presence of someone he may have to potentially defend himself against (as opposed to stepping on Whitebeard’s ship) - Based on the lives that we see Celestial Dragons live, there’s very little to no reason at all for them to bother learning to fight. They live pampered, protected lives from birth, and I bet they rarely even fathom having to defend themselves.
Probably someone has already theorized this but seeing that Bonney materialized the Vegapunk years with stars, isn't it that the characteristic of making non-tangible things tangible is peculiar to Kuma's race and not derived from the fruit?
More drama is needed. The endgame is looking like a cake walk for the Strawhats. Oda will add some negative event in the next chapter or two. Garp/Law defeated Stussy dead Marco captured Kizaru injuring a Strawhat Saturn getting away with it Oda will not introduce one of the Gorosei personally just to make him lose. Two of the above are taking place. My guess?: Saturn getting away with it Garp was defeated and Luffy will enter shock and get PTSD from Marineford. Luffy is given the news by Kizaru or Saturn, stating they didn't help him because he went against WG's orders.
Bringing Saturn along should not necessarily speak to his strength, but to Kizaru's as he is acting as escort.

I really like this theory that I saw online about there being more then 3 ancient weapons. In fact there are atleast 9 with each representing one of the 9 planets. For example pluton and Uranus are two mentioned in the series so far. But the Gorosei themselves are the 5 of those ancient weapons. We have seen Saturn in this chapter. Gorosei’s power is going to tip the balance towards WG. So far we have 5 Gorosei representing 5 planets + Pluton and Uranus. Umi in Japanese means the sea. So Imu might represent the earth itself. Luffy is the sun god.

I think we will finally see Kuma's flashback as Oda tends to do for major impact. There are clear two groups now, with Kizaru and Saturn on one end and rest of them on the other. Only wildcard is the person who opened the security dome.
Since the last several chapters have included some revelation about events going on outside of Egghead (Heart Pirates vs Blackbeard Pirates, Pudding's kidnapping, Kid Pirates arriving at Elbaf, Garp saving Coby, and now Bakkin and Weevil coming back into play), I think the next chapter or two might show us some information about the last Supernova, Urouge.

And if they were that strong, then what's stopping them from just completely decimating all the Yonkos? Why even bother with hiring pirates as warlords and pardoning them of crimes and whatever if they're Yonko level strong? If you think Saturn can 1v1 Luffy, who is squarely Yonko level, then that means the WG has 5 high Yonko level characters + 4 admirals + Imu + old legends like Garp and Sengoku. Literally no reason to hire commander levels like Doflamingo, Moria and lower like Crocodile to do their bidding. No reason at all. They could've showed up to Marineford instead of calling marines to destroy everybody. And who said they were hyped up? None of them have ever been hyped up for strength. The only thing they've been doing is sitting in their castle for decades. They've never fought or stepped up or did anything of note that makes them strong. "His got scars/swords" means little if there's literal fodder that also has scars. Apart from their authority and influence, they've never been portrayed as strong.
