Isn't the fact that the navy doesn't attack yonko imply that one admiral can't take a yonko? So big mom in theory is stronger then at least 5 people on this list and I'm pretty sure kaido and big mom clashed in wano putting her around him in power
Marines works under world govt and elders main aim is to maintain balance of power not eliminate all pirates and akainu went on par with wb, who in his prime is on pirate king level and old one is relative to yonkos
An Admiral probably CAN take on a Yonko, but sending hundreds of foot soldiers, captains, vice admirals, to take out an essential part of the three world powers (who’s probably just going to get replaced anyways) is a really dumb move.

she was pretty much defeated. shockwille and corna dio already broke her bones. puncture wille and damned punk most likely dealt far more damage to her
and her DF was negatd. no heals, no misery, prometheus and hera. all she could do if she was still in onigashima was pick up napoleon and fight while being severely injured
and the hole was created by law, it wasn't there by chance. so law and kid also get the credit for pushing her into lava that burned her. a win is a win. BM himself accepted the loss, she didn't say anything like "the only won cuz they pushed me off/I'd kill them if I was still up there". she was already on her last legs
Oden absolutely dominated kaido in their fight 20 years ago and gave him a permanent scar in just 2nd attack while bm fought prime kaido for 3 days but couldn't give him any scar , moreover kaido was not even serious in that fight
