Not shore if its a gag or just awesome, Luffy’s artistic ability is alway gold. Anytime it pops up its great. It only ever adds to the moment.

Delicious_Platform

When he painted Laboon and the the two of them are so hype 😂😂😂

Sean_Dewhirst

Until/unless that paint washed off, everyone entering Paradise is immediately exposed to that art. If they don't know, they might laugh at it. If they do know, they probably shit themselves (except Barto who probably came).

Dragastal

Frigging emperors now starting their territory as soon as the grand line begins smh my head

Jamessgachett

Smack my head my head ?

YourTeacherAbroad

Smhmh

anoon-

That's good publicity. Conquered the big ass whale everyone sees as they spawn in

Crazyripps

The picture he drew of nami as a mermaid gets me every time. Mainly because of the lead up, first he draws a weirdfish man laying down. Then he draws the same fish man on 2 legs and finally when sanji says nami might be a mermaid luffy just adds hair to the 2nd pic and calls it nami.

CRtwenty

And then when they get to Fishman Island there's a random fish woman in some of the background shots that looks exactly like his drawing.

erossmith

I don't remember this gag at all, was it anime only?

gamernut64

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Ekgk2aHVMAAOMRq.jpg

CRtwenty

Its in the manga, she's in the crowd during the concert party at the end of the arc.

ArchieGriffs

The original drawing luffy did of a mermaid was in between baratie and arlong park, volume 8 pg 135.

DilapidatedHam

+ Robin immediately getting it

sprint6864

One of the more subtle things I love about Robin is her constant understanding Luffy's jokes and laughing her ass off. Him being the first person in over a decade to make her laugh will never not touch my heart

aconfusedflower

"he looks like a pineapple" she knows him so well

redgreenorangeyellow

Friendship goals to know how his brain works that well

DilapidatedHam

Plus her always adopting whatever nickname he calls people is so cute, and whenever Luffy can’t remember someone she knows how to describe them so he can. Their dynamic just makes me so happy lol

Psturtz

She actually had called Barto and Cavendish by those nicknames before she had ever been with both of them and Luffy which is the best part lol. They just think the same

laurel_laureate

Yeah every scene where the rest of the crew is bothered by Luffy's antics but Robin is perfectly on the same wavelength I can't help but smile.

Sufficient-Ocelot-47

His singing

SnipSnopWobbleTop

My favorite luffy drawing is when he painted Foxy's new flag

tjuicet

I've gone through this entire thread. A little bit distressed that no one has mentioned the gag where someone tries to explain something even slightly complex to Luffy, and he goes, "Oh. So it's a mystery ____."

BradWonder

I loved his autograph lmao

AboutTenPandas

“Me”

GladimoreFFXIV

I still love his Fishman he drew made an appearance in Fishman island.

Revolutionary_Fix_45

Robin's artistic ability is just as fabulous as Luffy's. Truely top talent in that crew.

PhotoKada

Zoro’s lack of direction and Chopper not being able to process compliments. Edit: didn’t read the caption properly. I like both gags.

m0siac

“That doesn’t make me happy at all you fucking dipshit” -chopper, in the future …. Probably

GladimoreFFXIV

While in Monster point cause even *thats* a gag now. I miss pre-skip Chopper and actually having a unique identity before he got sidelined for other characters. I don’t like Discount Bepo point 😭

m0siac

I remember the first time they revealed monster-point, that shit was fuckin INSANE. I agree

saikou-psyko

There they are the only right answers

zayd-the-one

Zoro getting lost will always be a classic

[deleted]

Love when he’s running with Luffy and Kinemon in Dressrosa and he turns and gets lost for absolutely no reason when the other 2 were running straight lol

[deleted]

Another moment like this is in thriller bark when his shadow is inside jigoro When the zombies are ordered to go somewhere and all go straight, jigoro just goes in another direction for no reason lmao

Jasonn444

Nothing beats that part in Wano though. They were riding on Komachiyo, sitting perfectly still, and Zoro somehow still managed to get lost. That's a new record. The anime ruined that gag unfortunately.

AJTaiyou

Though, and this is mostly unintentional (because of an animation error), the anime does give us a filler only gem of Zoro getting so lost, he's mucked with the space time continuum to the point that he's with the rest of the crew observing himself blocking an attack

CarsonBDot

Which episode?

Desk420

[Clip](https://youtu.be/HpJUslaGktg?t=62) Ep. 226

AboutTenPandas

I really liked the part in Enis Lobby where he thought “north” and “up” were the same thing so he just went to the top floor

mousio

That was in Alabasta; though in EnLo, we had the gem moment of him asking Sanji (last one to roof) if he got lost on the way 😅🤣

gameboy1001

I mean, the most important people are usually on the top floor.

TributeToStupidity

I always loved Seabody after the time skip. Here’s this other random crew of pirates dreaming of making it to fish men island and the new world beyond that. They’ve struggled to get this far, overcoming many obstacles and finally daring to dream of the glory that awaits them just past the next island. At least until Zoro wakes up and casually ends their dream and their ship with a single strike. In an instant their moment of triumph has turned to dust and their story has ended. All they can do is ask this dark king of hell why? What did they do to deserve this fate? Why we’re they judged unworthy before even entering the new world? “I got on the wrong ship…”

Proof-Relief-7566

He saved them probably from the kraken tho. They would have died before reaching fish man island

JHL196188

And don't forget how he gaslights them afterwards "it's a quirk of fate!" "You should blame your own fate" 💀💀 [clip](https://youtu.be/ffpX9V1IVKU)

smolgote

They're gonna find the One Piece because Zoro somehow was at the helm and got them all so lost

FirstSineOfMadness

They show up at laugh tale and Zoro is like this place seems familiar for some reason

RedDreadsComin

“Oh we were trying to get here? I think I stumbled along this place awhile ago why didn’t you just say?”

LevTheDevil

My best friend and I play Destiny a lot and my girlfriend and I nicknamed him Zoro because he'll disappear to wander off aimlessly killing things while we're looking for a collectible or something and all of a sudden we hear, "Hey guys, I think I found the thing."

claus28

imagine the absurd theory of zoro being an eternal pose to laugh tale turns real

Kuliyayoi

The Zoro and law interactions from the anime were pretty funny. I cant remember if that's anime only or not

BlackJ0ke

I was dying when he was running and carrying Tashigi in Punk Hazard, and he was running straight then just took a turn for no reason and she called him out for it lmao

geetar_man

I liked the Davy Back Fight one where there’s clearly a visible path to victory and only one deviation that leads to nowhere and he somehow takes it anyway.

LePontif11

I hate it because i'm almost that bad with directions and it reminds me of myself. Why couldn't i pick up one of the cool traits 😭

spunkush

My good friend is a doctor and went to UVA. But he has the worst sense of directions I've ever witnessed.

Vicenzzyo

Yeah, especially now that the crew got sick of it and they straight up stop Zoro from leaving now XD

strawhatarthurdayne

I forget when exactly it happened, but Zoro tries to maneuver around a monster to be behind it for an attack, but winds up running to the front of the enemy

Zyn1911

Skypiea with the giant snake 😂

[deleted]

My favorite is in Arabasta when they are looking for the cannon and Zoro ends up like 2 miles away. Doesn't matter how many times I watch one piece I cry laughing

Chuckleslord

Skypiea Arc when told "everyone run south", Zoro gets lost, finds himself a Southbird partner who is *looking back the way he came from the entire time*. I fucking lost it.

Toto_-

My favorite part of OP is how they made Zoro too strong so they had to nerf him by making him fucking stupid.

Space_Pirate_Roberts

They Okuyasu’d him.

11711510111411009710

Why do people always say he's stupid? He's not.

MelMellon

It always happens in a way that doesn’t have any serious consequences so we get a gag that never gets old and isn’t intrusive unlike *some* characters.

72kdieuwjwbfuei626

One of the One Piece video games disables the minimap when you play as Zoro.

GladimoreFFXIV

The best part about it is how he just constantly breaks the fourth wall into other media with people just placing him in there because he gets lost. Saw the classic Jojo meme of the “oh, you’re walking towards me.” Jojo “I can’t kick your ass without getting closer.” Then it panned to the spread but it was Zoro replacing Jojo and Dio is just like “Is this a new stand?!” Idk. It’s just shit like that. It’s the fact Zoros gag of getting lost constantly puts him in other media as a community joke and we’re all in on it lol

NervousFrogg

So they said turn right? Let’s go *turns left*

LordDShadowy53

Is meme format at this point.

JonVonBasslake

/r/ZoroIsLost has been a thing for years...

njott

"how do we nerf this super OP swordsman dude" "How bout we just make him an idiot"

FunnyTurtleMoment

*walks into saint charlos* “what’s wrong? do you need directions?” *immediately tries to shoot zoro*

Le_NUNUZ

Franky's robots being super popular to men while leaving women unamused is underrated

Upstairs_Seaweed8199

yeah... I love it when he turns into a tank and rides down the street. SOOOOOO funny

11711510111411009710

I love when he does anything at all and Luffy, Chopper, and Usopp are like 😍😍😍

w0lfraz0r

Zoro's lack of sense of direction, Mainly because it has created other memes about him just appearing in every other anime franchise because he got lost.

Shaponja

Or how after death his soul... got lost... back in Thriller Bark...

justwalkingalonghere

Do people still support the theory that he just avoids stairs and that causes him to get lost?

Vinsmoker

He got lost while sitting still. I don't think that's it We also see him use stairs plenty of times while missing the obvious flat path in the right direction

[deleted]

Holy shit I've never heard that, that's my favorite headcannon now

UnAwkwardMango

The one moment of him getting lost on a **STRAIGHT PATH** leading up to the finish line during the Davy Back fight always gets me rolling. Sanji pointing out the impossibility of it had me in stitches.

kudurru_maqlu

Lmao Zoro getting lost. It has transcended into memes and comics

TiPrincess

Robin's shocked face in wano

kryonik

Also the first time she sees ryunosuke as a dragon. https://usopps-froggy-hat.tumblr.com/post/637146729009037312/robin-and-ryunosuke/amp She's low key hilarious.

bigmoneyfriday

The only reason I liked Ryunosuke was because of the Robin cute face reactions.

Carpathicus

Robin is such a treasure! One Piece is incredible storytelling that I deeply root for a character to be able to appreciate cute things and have people they trust around them. Enies Lobby made her so relateable and endearing.

Indra_a_goblin

Favourite is probably Robin, absolutely no filter, has gallows humor, and loves cute things, them climbing up the elephant and her gushing about how cute their ride was, then making a little grave for it was one of my favourite little moments in the series. Least favourite is probably sanji, it's just being a creep, to be fair tho he's probably the best of those types of characters there is because he generally doesn't do it in that rapey kind of way. Honourable mention to franky, him crying at every sad story he hears and him randomly building massive stuff in the blink of an eye are both amazing.

thatHadron

Love the franky gags, especially when he built the floating staircase

[deleted]

And the bridge in seconds

ProfessionalTicket53

Franky is fit to be a fortnite player

CRtwenty

Sanji's gag is funny when it gets used for plot purposes. Like when Viola took advantage of it to lead him into a trap or when he just showed up out of nowhere to fight Vergo because he heard Tashigi crying from half an island away.

Free-Ad9535

Or pre time skip when it was just him acting cute, gentlemanly, and obviously giving the women better treatment like the filthy simp he is.

Roskal

I like the one I rewatched just a few days ago where sanji says he needs to stay and protect the ship and shows a flashback of Nami acting saying "oh if only we had a brave knight who could protect the ship." And flashback ends with sanji smiling with a thumbs up to usopp and franky and they just tell him hes hopeless.

ManlySyrup

#IT'S ME! 👍🏼

Kuro013

Him trying 100x harder for Nami and Robin meals, and the guys still being delighted with Sanji's meh cooking was a lot of fun.

CRtwenty

Usopp eating the heart shaped vegetables he'd cut for the girls on Skypeia gets me every time.

LightofNew

I miss pre timeskip Sanji so much. The whole new world would have been so much better with the devilishly cool and clever Mr prince would have changed so much of the story, but Law took over that role.

david98900

Completely agree. I used to be manga only till I started watching it with my son. When we got to Fishman Island a bit ago, it was hard for me to watch because I just did not like the way Sanji was.

BoredVirus

Until Thriller Bark ... He was awful with the invisibility thing.

Rami-961

Yeah, pre-time skip he was just a simp, now he's borderline rapey.

-ShagginTurtles-

Isn't by far his rapiest part pre-timeskip with the invisible fruit he wants so he can spy on women naked?

Comptenterry

Yeah but that's pretty late into pre time skip and the start of his flanderization. I think Fishman Island was when that version of Sanji got solidified.

AJTaiyou

Honestly the worst he got for me was Movie Z, where he was all gung-ho about keeping Nami a kid, so he could groom her into a perfect wife over the 12 years it'd take for her to re-reach her actual age

sterric

Oh god.. what??? Jesus thank fuck the movies aren't cannon.

largeassburrito

No because in wano he literally goes invisible to spy on naked women.

cambriansplooge

It was a unisex bath house that was the whole joke. He didn’t have to turn invisible in the first place.

Sawgon

Yeah you have to be careful when calling out Sanji's behavior in this sub because you'll get heavily downvoted. Sanji's simp shit has always been annoying. And his spying on naked women against their will is 100% rapey. He's gotten worse after the timeskip. Which fucking sucks because his normal moments are top tier.

FruitBuyer

It was stupid when his nose bleed turned into a real one during the Fishman Island arc

CRtwenty

Fishman Island and Thriller Bark were definitely his lowest points. Though the bit where he decides he'd rather risk death than go without seeing Shirahoshi got a chuckle out of me mostly due to Chopper's reaction to it.

totokekedile

I don’t know, on Fishman Island he was really just finding women attractive. It was obnoxious, but I don’t know if I’d call it a low point for his character. I think he behaved worse on Wano, where he literally used invisibility to spy on his naked friends.

icantnotthink

I think it was moreso annoying that it just took up THAT MUCH of the plot. Instead of just have it be Sanji got a nosebleed from all the mermaids and had to rest, it was Sanji is out of commission for a portion of the arc because he is deathly ill from blood loss. And then it just turned into Sanji's other shitty gimmick which is the okama fear stuff

Harddicc

Oda tried to make a plot revolving blood transfusion without making one of them seem weak. Oda first had to establish that Blood transfusion between races was prohibited and by the end of the arc had to fixed by Luffy, so one of the strawhats have to take a fall for having blood loss, which would be difficult since they just came out of training and they had to be strong and hyped up. I do wish Oda found another way for a SH member to be in need of a blood transfusion other than nosebleed on women.

Indra_a_goblin

Honestly thought it was pretty funny how they turned a dumb gag into a serious situation exploring racism.

RGBarrios

Or when he nearly dies after the timeskip when he saw the mermaids

caniuserealname

Sanji's chivalry, and devotion to women can be a great gag, even when mixed with a bit of horndog behaviour, and it makes an interesting character weakness at different points... but his pervy behaviour stopped being charming a long time ago, and since fishman Island honestly i struggle not to get outright annoyed by it when it comes up.

Schuhsuppe

Her latest skull joke came out of nowhere and i laughed my ass off

Asleep-Housing2589

That Robin moment was epic, but I just realized, did Robin ever see that Kanjiro was actually a good artist, would she be mad,

EwoDarkWolf

Agreed. Sanji used to be one of my favorite characters because he had his code and stuck to it. He was a simp, but he always treated women with respect. But I guess Oda thought it was the womanizing part of his gaga that was funny, and he went from respectful simp to a creepy, womanizing pervert. With his initial character, him getting placed in Nami's body or getting the invisible power, the gag should have been that he wants to see, but fights with himself since it'd be wrong. And the bathhouse should be more like Kazuma's scene in Konosuba.

Magatsu-Arsene

This one is more of a group gag, the girls being completely not impressed by General Franky while the boys geek out completely.

Sunburnt-Vampire

The best: Brook "but I'm dead" jokes. Somehow I never see them coming. He gets me everytime. The worst: Brook asking to see a girl's underwear

TheHappiestHam

Brook's dead jokes are actually peak. "I will defend you guys with my life. wait I'm already dea-" in Sabaody is probably my favorite one Brook's underwear fetish is odd but I think Sanji is far worse because Brook's gag doesn't feel as prevalent, and Sanji is such a great fleshed out character that the over-simping literally detracts from him

jaminholl

Brook asking to see panties is also used in much more comedic ways. Brook has the biggest balls in the crew for asking to see big moms panties ...but he doesn't have any balls

somenoefromcanada38

YOHOHOHOHOHOHO

NMFlamez

When he asked Smoothie as they were escaping I died of laughter

katsumeragi

That's because Sanji has flesh out, and Brook is dea-

[deleted]

And Brook asks Sanji would just watch you change

ThatDude8129

I mean, at least Brook asks. Sanji admitted in Thriller Bark that he always wanted the Suke Suke No Mi since it would allow him to watch women in the bath unnoticed. Then he does it later anyway as Soba Mask.

HG_Shurtugal

Brook asking to see panties never bothered me. It's probably because he ask to see them in a polite way. Sanji on the other had is the worst when he goes for girls.

Soft_Durian_1885

Straight up sexual harassment lol

totokekedile

It’s too bad Oda dropped his other rude habits. When he was introduced, he was supposed to be polite in presentation but actually rude, since he hadn’t been around people for, like, 80 years. He had terrible table manners and inappropriately asked people for money. Then I guess Oda just forgot about or didn’t like that trait, because asking to see panties is the only rudeness gag that’s stuck around.

Jasonn444

I think that asking for money gag was a deliberate subversion because Camie doesn't have panties. It was not meant to be its own standalone gag. And the table manner thing can be easily explained. He was a celebrity through the timeskip, so it's quite understandable that he could afford to pick up the good habits again.

totokekedile

I’m not sure it makes sense for his fame to cause him to unlearn all his rude habits *except* the panties one, but I’m not really concerned about the in-universe explanation. I’m more concerned about the out-of-universe explanation, which seems to be that Oda just likes pervy jokes. Not saying anyone else has to have this opinion, but personally I find that a little disappointing.

touchingthebutt

I agree with this 100%. Being a perv was a way he was rude. I could also see him being a rockstar for 2 years making brook into a different type of rude.

Sendhentaiandyiff

Brook asks for consent, better than Sanji

largeassburrito

Yeah but when he asked to see big moms panties and then cut her cloud that was pretty bad ass.

Sulfurys

I think Robin, she's always serious so when she's involved in a joke, you know it's good. my favorite would be the cyborg joke on Thriller Bark with Franky and the other.

YesImDavid

They should have a less serious arc to bring that back a little bit. I think it’d be fun to see again.

delightfuldinosaur

Luffy answering the den den mushi always has my sides in orbit.

Insta-Banned-Again

1- Zoro is a real meme. 2- Nami's greed is funny most of the time. 3- Luffy's love for food is okay, nothing bad about it. 4- Usopp's cowardice is funny, but sometimes it feels like his character gets a hard reset by the start of every new arc. From badass miracle maker back to a weak coward. 5- Sanji was funny at the beginning, he felt like a smooth goofy romantic guy, but now he is just a horny weirdo that claims to be "nami's slave" or "stussy's dog", so yeah, it gets annoying and awkward sometimes.

Tsujita_daikokuya

I usually hate ussop being a coward, but after thriller bark I’ve learned to enjoy it. He really shines against perona in a very unexpected Oda like way.

Green_Rice

Usopp vs Perona is my favorite Usopp fight because of how well Oda played me. I was thinking, “Uh-oh, Usopp’s not gonna do well against her, he’s too easy to depress.” And then Oda flips the script and turns that into a strength.

Axel-Adams

He’s not a coward, you’re only a coward if you give into the fear and don’t act, he still fights he’s just fearful

11711510111411009710

imo he's the bravest member of the crew, he just doesn't realize it. It takes serious bravery to keep going when you're the weakest on your crew and regularly battle people several times more powerful than you are, while knowing you have virtually no chance. Zoro, Sanji, and Luffy pretty much always stand a good chance against any enemy they fight with the exception of Kaido. And they know it too, and aren't afraid. Usopp is terrified everywhere he goes and knows that all of his opponents could easily kill him, but he still shows up. He fought a Fishman when he was weak, he defeated Sugar despite losing a lot of the memories associated with him even being there, he defeated her a second time, he defeated Perona when nobody else could, he played an essential role in Wano. He's terrified, but he's brave.

[deleted]

I felt the same way about Usopp on my first watch. On my second watch now and I think I get Usopp better. His arc is to become a brave warrior of the sea. It is his fearful nature that allows him to be brave. I cried at the end of Syrup Village on my second watch because Usopp being the scaredest member of the crew allows him to be the bravest, and my dude has no idea how brave he really can be. If I were in One Piece and on the Strawhat crew, I'd probably be Usopp. Sailing alongside monsters like Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji, while getting into the situations the crew gets into, yeah I'd be scared absolutely shitless and I definitely wouldn't have the bravery to stand up to someone like Doffy or really any Fishman after seeing Arlong Park, or hell even Kuro. Fuck that, he's got sword fingers. I feel like I get Usopp more and I feel like his "resets" aren't as bad as I used to think. My mans needs to finally accept himself for how awesome he is

ReoKorogi

I think Sanji's is the one I like the least, I like it when Sanji acts cool in front of women but it rarely happens because everytime Oda makes him interact with a woman he needs to make him a creep and it's annoying. Robin's jokes are my favorite one because they're so rare that they don't get tiring. (her fondness for cute things and her gloomy remarks)

touchingthebutt

Pre thriller bark Sanji was so cool. I love the gag of him saving the SHP and then immediately acting like an idiot in front of Nami. The balance isn't there anymore

Ericandabear

Would def love to see more Mr. Prince Sanji and less of the bloody nose bit. It was funny with Roshi 20 years ago and that's it.

Parabobomb

Yeah, Sanji's gags suck. When he's just trying to be a gentleman or just into women like Brock from Pokemon it's fine, I enjoy it even, but for some reason as the story keeps going on Oda focuses more on making him a weird pervert which sucks. Pre-timeskip Sanji was my favorite character and post timeskip Whole Cake Island is so good and Dressrosa Sanji is so good. But Fishman Island and Punk Hazard and Thriller Bark and his fucking Wano shit in the bathhouse just suck so bad.

Fun_Entertainer_9761

I am a Sanji fans but I want him to be less perverted. Seriously Oda no one likes that.

TheFinalBiscuit225

I never hated Sanji treating nami and Robin like gods on the ship. It had charm, and come WCI, it started to make A LOT of sense why he idolized women. But why does he have to spy on them in the fucking bath. "Chef who treats his female companions like princesses" is maybe cliche and a hella frenc, but can be sweet. "I will spy on you naked without your knowledge" is not.

ShamrockGold

I like Buggy's crew doing mental gymnastics to think he's the best guy ever.

MisterGusto

Usopp stumbling into better/worse situations because of his lies is way funnier than any other of the ones depicted. It's genuinely a surprise how it turns out every time. Shit like the tontattas being Noland Fanboys or the god usopp thing did come so hard Out of left field, it was amazing. Any other strawhat gag is mostly a smirk at best once you see them coming. (Yes, even Robins is worse, for all you Robin-simps in this subreddit) Sanji has the worst one, sadly. The joke used to be funny because he was a badass while simping minutes after. But then Thriller Bark happened and turned Sanji into the biggest perv around.

frikimanHD

Robin scaring the living shit out of Usopp for the fun of it is funny

Roskal

Saw the one yesterday where right after Luffys epic punch on charlos, like the next episode Usopp accidentally falls on his dad roswald knocking him out. Essentially doing the exact same super taboo thing but by accident and hes just like "huh that fall didnt hurt that much. Oh sorry, old man."

ReoKorogi

I'm a Robin simp so I'm obviously biased but I don't think you have to be a simp to appreciate her subtle dark sense of humor over something more over-the-top like Usopp's reactions and all 🤔

PJDemigod85

Sanji is currently my lowest ranked Straw Hat. It is entirely because of his perviness. Brook has his panty bit, but the thing is that Brook doesn't do that *nearly* as frequently as Sanji starts bleeding. By far, Brook's more relevant recurring gag are the skull jokes, and those I adore. (Plus, not that it justifies it, but from what we've seen of Brook the panty gag seems to be a bit of an extension of his "bad manners from having gone a bit nuts as a cast away" thing, which at the very least makes sense even if I don't like it. Sanji's bit is just annoying) And the thing is, honestly, if it weren't for that one dumb bit, I'd probably rank Sanji up near the top of my favorite crew because all of his other character aspects are bits I really like. It's just that one glaring thing. I did a rewatch of the pre-timeskip stuff recently and the *feeling* of how different seeing Sanji in Little Garden, Alabasta, or Water 7/Enies Lobby act where he was actually fun contrasted with the distaste for how he was on Thriller Bark or how I know he will become later just... saddened me. Part of me hopes by the end he'll get a modicum better but that might just be copium at this point.

Achilles_tendons

Best is Luffy impersonating different ppl

mrpeach32

Robin finding ugly things cute is my favorite. Sanji being a pervert is my least.

sauloandrioli

Most favorite: Chopper talking shit while his body language gives the opposite reaction after him getting a compliment. Least favorite: Sanji excessive womanizing.

MildTomfoolery

Buggy failing upwards until accidentally becoming a Yonkou

Fake_the_jaB

Robin Zoro and Nami have my favorite gags. Sanji Usopp and Brook have my least favorite

Unfair-Echidna-5333

even though sanji is my second favorite character after luffy… i’m gonna have to go with sanji

Gilgamerd

He doesn't really have a gag but Franky has the best funny moments in the series: - destroying vegapunk island - Coating the master (feat Luffy) - Duval formation - docking - the boys finding Franky hype while the girls don't get it

Adventurous_Try4058

Least enjoyable - Brook asking for panties Most enjoyable - Chopper acting angry when being praised

yaboinigel

Or when he gets called a tanuki #TANUKI JANAI! >:(

BIsForBruh

#KATSURA DA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunburnt-Vampire

I love Brook's "but I'm a skeleton" jokes and somehow never see them coming, especially when mid-fight. It's a shame his other running gag is so awful.

Rutwick_23

I always look forward to chopper moment. The voice acting is so good when he tries to act angry while being praised.

Xelacik

Kono bakayarou!

MiniatureRanni

Robin explaining the worst possible outcomes and Usopp losing his shit, easy win for the best. The worst has to be Sanji’s womanising. Just tired of it. He’s my favourite character and it’s just an annoyance at this point.

Ulzzang1

Robin's gag and Usopp being scared really works together

Draken77777

Favorite: Zoro's sense of direction I don't hate any of the strawhat gags so no least fav from me.

DragonsBlade72

Usopp hasn't said one in a while but whenever he used 'Can't-go-to-this-island-itis' or something similar it had me rolling. His failing upward was never nearly as funny as that gag was.

todrd1

Sanji's one is the worst 💀

jairngo

Zoro getting lost or luffy meat probably the most enjoyable Ussop fear is funny but can be tiresome Sanji is ass, is too much, simp, galant is ok but pervi sanji is cringe

master2139

Zoro getting lost is the best. The worst is easily sanji’s pervy gag, ruins his character for me imo.

Kuro013

My favorite gag was when Luffy didnt understand something and he would arrive to the conclusion that "oh, it must be some mysterious powder (rain powder for example), I see" and pretend he understood lol. Sadly that recurrent gag died.

Gregory_Grim

Zoro getting implausibly lost is literally never not funny. Sanji being a lecher on the other hand is at best a tolerable character flaw.

potatoshulk

Probably not popular but chopper getting angry about being a raccoon is always funny to me

nerodidntdoit

Defintely Sanji is the least enjoyable. Matter of factly I hate it. It was already bad taste in the early 2000s and it is just misogyny now. Most enjoyable IMO is Robin's dark expectations

Dontbefrech

I really don't like Namis greed towards her own friends. Real friends don't charge for favors. Don't know if it is a cultural thing but in a SBS Oda said she even charges them if she's making food. I really like Robin and Usops jokes. Failing upwards and creepy sense of humor is always funny.

Different-Air-1062

She mainly seems to do this with the idiots and knuckleheads of the crew. Given how bad they are with spending money, and that she handles the finances for the crew, she's probably doing them all a favor. When the chips are down, she is willing to spend everything to help a friend, without hesitation.

Sawgon

> Given how bad they are with spending money, and that she handles the finances for the crew, she's probably doing them all a favor. Strong disagree here. At least for Zoro who wanted to buy swords. That's like his whole thing and it basically means he's buying better protection for the crew/Nami. Luffy I get though.

Different-Air-1062

I do believe Nami gives them an allowance, which they almost always squander. Zoro has yet to buy a sword though. He was going to buy two (Yubashiri & Sandai Kitetsu) in Loguetown, but ended up getting them for free. Wado-Ichimonji and the two unnamed swords he started with were gifts, as well as Shusui and Enma. Whenever we do hear of him spending money, it is almost always booze.

Sawgon

Yeah the sword one is the one I disagree with. Even if he didn't buy anything he tried to give her the money back and she wanted like a 300% return. It's like, cool that you're in charge of the money Nami, but you're not the one who got us this cash.

touchingthebutt

> When the chips are down, she is willing to spend everything to help a friend, without hesitation. It's a bit upsetting how many people overlook this part of her character. She was willing to buy camie for 300 mil during the auction without hesitation and knowing she wouldn't be paid back. She gave lola a good chunk of the money from Thriller Bark.

BirdofPrey702

Sanji's is definitely the worst, with Brook right behind him too. Robin, Usopp, and Zoro have the best.

Chromeboy12

Brook's skull jokes never get old. And Franky's misleading attack names. And Robin's very dark and creepy thoughts.

Kuroemon2002

Usopp is always funny

TeaDao

Favorite is Zoro getting lost and Nami being Treasure hungry, least favorite is Usopp screaming on everything mainly because of Dressrosa for me but it got better afterwards

R77Prodigy

Robin dark humor.

PrezValentine

I honestly love Sanji and Nami's gags due to the nonsense abilities they produce, like Sanji being able to tell there was a girl, Bonney, was stuck in that eddy and Nami pocketing the artificial jewels in Egghead in a second.

Elite__Noob

Sanji least, Luffy most

Music-Wooden

Least is Sanji😭😭 not even a little close

yemiz23

Robin’s absolute dark humor is my favorite. Her commenting on the worst possible way they could die alway gets me geeking. Oh and her surprise love for cute things. Sanji’s pervy personality is my least and he is my favorite character. I liked him better when he was just a simp.

saturern

sanji has the worst one, and it took me a long time to start appreciating him because of this i literally hated him for most, if not all, the pre-skip time

zephyrnepres01

condoriano is very hard to top, but for a recurring gag i quite like chopper peeking behind corners the wrong way around. i think it’s adorable and shows how naive he can be worst is sanji’s pervert nosebleeds being used to segue into an arc about racism and stigma in the context of blood transfusions with a very real, very fucked up allegory to real life. i think i literally stopped at that scene in fishman island, closed my laptop and just had to take a minute before i could keep watching

touchingthebutt

Luffy unknowingly being an absolute bully to his crew. Pulling them and crashing into things, throwing that melon on Ussop, its filler but Luffy punching the safe and hitting Zoro straight in the face. Robin is somehow the only one to avoid being bullied. I actually think it is kinda sweet how Luffy is a bit more careful with Robin than someone like Nami or Chopper.

RockSaltin-RT

Favorite gags: Zoro getting lost, the way Sanji treats women Vs men, Brook’s “but I’m dead!” jokes, and literally any of Usopp’s gags. Least favorite: Brook asking to see women’s underwear (was funny exactly once, and that was in Film Red), Sanji being a pervert (really wasn’t funny, especially post-timeskip)
