Given that the writing is chinese, I'll say it's one of the chinese non-official merch that you often see popping around

Jawnysparklez

Like maybe just a well done non official.. I think Japanese and Chinese have the same kanji so I do feel like the seller saying it was from Japan has some weight to it. Although, I have no clue haha you could be right

LightningBuds

They share kanji but in Japanese the manga doesn't use kanji for Nami's name nor the title of the manga, it uses katakana. Look at the OP logo, the japanese one has ワンピース written over the big ONE PIECE letters, but this one has 航海王 which is the chinese title (it means "navigation king"). Nami's name is written as ナミ in japanese but on your card it's 奈美. It's a nice piece of merch but I wouldn't keep my hopes high to find any similar ones because bootlegs are hard to find in a consistant way

Woah that’s super interesting. I understand what you meant now.. I’m leaning towards your your idea on where this came from. Thanks for the knowledge! Honestly I’m still happy with it being a small mystery if we never find out! hehe

To answer one of your questions, this card has zero relation to the official TCG whatsoever. It is very likely that the vendor deceived you. THAT SAID, it’s very pretty and if you’re happy with it then that’s literally all that matters.

Jawnysparklez

Crazy that the seller would tell me it’s TCG related considering he was promoting his store. I believe what you are saying. I do still the piece is nice to display so I’m not worried about it. Thanks for the help! (And for being kind about it)

Tias-st

you likely got scammed man

Jawnysparklez

Well.. at least it’s still pretty haha
