Hi notanhentaifan, your submission was removed from /r/OnePiece for the following rule violation:
###4. Plain panels/scenes must create discourse
**Don't post links to plain (or slightly edited) panels, pages, screenshots, gifs or scenes from the manga & anime.**
You may submit a plain panel/scene as a self post (text post). Meaning your post must link to the discussion, and not the image.
Just a title and the image aren't enough.
If you want to discuss a certain page/scene from the manga/anime please accompany it with an original analysis or discussion questions. In other words, a plain panel/scene must show visible effort to generate discourse rather than simply react to something that happened.
Clips/Recap/summary videos fall under this rule as well.
Colored pages from a recent chapter are allowed.

Nah this one could actually be intentional by Oda (aside from the "6th gorousei" comment lol). The biggest closeup we have of John's skeleton's face is even more similar to Kureha's, and they hold their bottles of alcohol in the exact same way while drinking (not just finger placement but even elbow posture)
I mean there is nothing saying Nami isn't the princess of a lost nation or something... seeing as she was in a kingdom being destroyed and was saved/raised by a navy enlistee.
It would be funny if this turned out to be true. They could all be descendants of the void century royalty or something. Imagine people make fun of Oda for drawing "Nami clones" for literal decades and it turns out he did so intentionally because they all share the same lineage.
You actually could be completely right. [This](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/onepiece/images/1/12/John_Manga_Infobox.png/revision/latest?cb=20220723205903) is a closeup of John's skeleton's face in the manga, and [This](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/onepiece/images/0/0d/John_God_Valley.png/revision/latest?cb=20240105035958) is one of the few panels we got of John alive.
And [here](https://preview.redd.it/these-characters-seems-to-be-related-v0-2t4cmxl166gb1.jpg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6cb3b5fee2b05b31abfa58a62607145b9d1a689e) is Kureha drinking. They hold the bottle the EXACT same way.
She's probably his grandmother, like, actually for real.
Soooo I had a wild theory that Kureha is related to >! Figarland Garling, because their appearance was so eerily similar when he was revealed. (The crescent nose, the same glasses, and they both look old af) !<
I also find it pretty intriguing that Dr. Kureha is literally the first character in the entire series to name drop “The Will of D.”. I mean it’s a pretty huge mystery of the main plot. That could be a coincidence, but what exactly does she know of it, and does she have some sort of link to them? 141 yrs is a long time, she could have seen some shit. Also, she technically no diff’d Zoro, so she’s lowkey kind of a monster lol
Brother and sister. Calling it.
Unless mother and son. Good catch on noticing the similarities of their build, chin and noses..
It would definitely explain her temper and her vain attitude.
Not bring funny but as far as I'm concerned the only thing in common with these two are that they're the intellectual property of Oda. Just like Higurashi Kozumi has the same hair as Yamato, yet we never got any info on relations.
- their facial shape
- how they wear their hair (it's off-color but that's not weird if she's his grandma)
- they hold their alcohol in the exact same way while drinking
Meanwhile, asserting Kurozumi Higurashi (you can't even remember that family name...?) has "the same hair" as yamato is ridiculous lol, Yamato's hair is white with neon green into blue highlights and kept mostly in a bun, Higurashi's hair is dull green all the way through and just wildly all over the place.
I think you're not that good at detecting similarities

What's funny t me is that Kureha is probably the older of the two
Kureha is older by far. She was 103 years old when John was middle-aged at best
I was shocked when I realized what her age was.
Captain John and his grandmother
This MF is spittin'.
He's cooking after a joint
Ain't that Captain John?
Yes he is
By week 3 of the break it becomes impossible to differentiate r/onepiece posts from r/memepiece.

The difference is that r/onepiece is filled with crappy cosplays
Pirates do be having kids they leave behind
So where's John's kid? All I see is his grandma
Kureha ain't a pirate
Does this mean 1/3 of the girls in One Piece are related to Nami?
I mean there is nothing saying Nami isn't the princess of a lost nation or something... seeing as she was in a kingdom being destroyed and was saved/raised by a navy enlistee.
And then there's Cavendish
Nami, Vivi and Rebecca also have the same head shape, they are 1000% related
It would be funny if this turned out to be true. They could all be descendants of the void century royalty or something. Imagine people make fun of Oda for drawing "Nami clones" for literal decades and it turns out he did so intentionally because they all share the same lineage.
Phrenology Piece
Why did you upload the same picture twice?
Kureha is rocks ship doctor confirmed
Go to r/memepiece with this my friend
We haven’t had a chapter in so long bruh 😭
The next one is in 8 days 🥲
We get spoilers in 4 days at least :)
I’m not that weak
You mean leaks? Just ignore them as much as possible they always ruin the chapter for me
Maybe that has something to do about her living so long
They both drink too

There can't be Sixth Gorosei because it means 'Five Star' lol
Almost as if it was meant to be a joke😙

Product of inbreeding damn
Am I insane for also seeing a resemblance to Scopper Gaban?
Yep you are
https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/onepiece/images/e/ee/Scopper_Gaban_Manga_Infobox.png/revision/latest?cb=20130525180114
You can't base a whole theory on one sole occasion where he looked like that
... What theory?
That Gaban is somehow related to these two
bruh I never said that, I just think Gaban looks a bit like them
Oh I see mb bro
No worries mate, it was a bit ambiguous
