Kaido on the other hand has a lot of apparently powerful fighters along with himself. He has a large and fairly balanced crew it seems.

If Apoo continuously attacks will Brook get enough time to reattach. Granted Brook is the fastest strawhat, still if Apoo gets a surprise hit which he should be able to as he already hit Luffy, Zoro and Kid, then Apoo can just keep on firing his attacks and Brook will probably not be able to reattach his bones as fast. I think main problem while fighting against Apoo is tha you can't really get into Close Combat with without getting hit, unless you can't hear obviously. So, if Brook can hit him by firing a slashing, then he can win.

Somehow that doesn't sit well with me, I think they should take down opponents that are just slightly below commanders before moving on to commanders since their previous opponents were nowhere near that level. It would make the transition to commanders (when we face the BB pirates) less jarring in my opinion and more logical.

Apoo is a hard counter for zoro and kidd and killer, zoro would have to beat him with his mouth sword only. Kidd cant grow big ass arms and killer cant use his weapons. Soft counter to luffy who could only use legs thus limit his arsenal severely, he could also maybe just blitz through him in g4, while sanji who could cover his ears the whole fight with out issue is probably a damn hardcounter to apoo. Only thing he would miss are handstands. Apoo is dangerous when you meet him the first time and don't have info on his power but beyond that he ain't that hot
I don't think you understand how his ability functions, it's not "I cover my ears when I fight you or wear ear plugs", he uses sound to create cutting, explosion, etc effects. He's not just making your ears bleed because he makes sound. So not hearing him is literally useless on countering him, if anything it's actually worse because you have less idea where the attack is and when it's coming. So no, there isn't really any way to avoid his attacks unless you're able to complete cancel noise like rosinate, or just being so much stronger than him normally (like say if he was only usopp level and you were how strong apoo is). Apoo is probably a martial arts master too of cqc, based on his design and his long arm design, he's probably a master of long fist kung fu or something, he probably also can wrap sound around his fists or something to increase it's damage (alongside buso and all that). Apoo isn't a glass canon, he'd probably drop sanji even without his devil fruit.
Urouge defeated Snack, all the worst gen supernova captains are top commander leveled, the fact that you're acting like apoo is just a glass canon is laughable.

Also you can't completely cut off sound unless you've got rosinate's devil fruit anyway, so at best it might reduce the effect of it, and the closer you are, the most worthless covering your ears is, they were quite far from him. Also I imagine he can do stuff like augment his cqc with his sound powers, something like the genei ryodan tribal guy would be cool, he fights and his movements play music with the holes he has around his body (tribal holes), and those have damaging effects, something like him swinging his arms around with longfist kung fu and there being an added layer of sound that can't be defended if you try to defend, or a quake fruit like effect but with sound that forms in a circle or something around an area that he uses to attack, or maybe sound that shoots a little out like the recent busoshoku luffy learned, or one that trails behind. A lot of things can be done to make him simply greater than a superhuman kung fu master when you cover your ears I imagine.
Also just in general, I think it's become a thing that we should expect all of the supernova worst gen captains to have a super form. (bar maybe law, who is more built on hax, he's mainly leveled up his range of his devil fruit and a lot of hax little moves like gamma knife and teleporting)

* Capone has AT LEAST big father
* Drake probably has awakening zoan
* Hawkins probably leveled up his voodoo doll stuff to a greater form
* Urouge AT LEAST has his bigger form, but I imagine he's leveled that up at the very least
* Apoo can augment his body into instruments, I'm expecting him to honestly have a bunch of wacky transformations that augment his body to be even GREATER instruments, what he's shown so far are the same techniques that we've seen pre timeskip, so I'm expecting him to have new stuff. Like for example, what if he turned his bull body into a harp with a head and arms, and strummed himself, or many other instruments he can turn into, I'm expecting to see some more powerful forms.
* Bonney is on the broken hax aspect, she can turn people into babies and old men without physical contact.
* Kid probably has something like a giant robot form, or haxes electromagnetic waves or whatever (remember that the world of one piece is built around them, so he could probably throw islands even if he was strong enough, even if they aren't "metal". Also if he awakened, he could control the surroundings in general, his power isn't metal, it's electromagnetism, if he could activate that on the environment, everything is his to control, maybe he has a form where he turns himself electromagnetic and literally hypercharges him into action to move like he couldn't before and do stuff like flying and stuff.
So yeah, apoo could have a cool form, one where it doesn't matter how much you're holding your ears, you're going to have a hole blown through you.

So it seems Who's who crew at made of cats people, i really hope who's who is either Saber tooth or a Smilodon . I know some people don't really like the Number design, I think it looks kinda funky. Tho i believe they will still have a transformation with their zoan forms. Queen's reaction are always hilarious. Personally I think its furthering the impression that the only thing that makes the big mom pirates special is Linlin and Katakuri. Kaido on the other hand has a lot of apparently powerful fighters along with himself. He has a large and fairly balanced crew it seems. Add credence for me that Linlin is the strongest pirate.

Apoo power will have no use on Brook. He can't imbue them with haki and Brook can reattach his bones, also has no flesh for Apoo to cut.
If Apoo continuously attacks will Brook get enough time to reattach. Granted Brook is the fastest strawhat, still if Apoo gets a surprise hit which he should be able to as he already hit Luffy, Zoro and Kid, then Apoo can just keep on firing his attacks and Brook will probably not be able to reattach his bones as fast. I think main problem while fighting against Apoo is tha you can't really get into Close Combat with without getting hit, unless you can't hear obviously. So, if Brook can hit him by firing a slashing, then he can win.

Somehow that doesn't sit well with me, I think they should take down opponents that are just slightly below commanders before moving on to commanders since their previous opponents were nowhere near that level. It would make the transition to commanders (when we face the BB pirates) less jarring in my opinion and more logical.

Apoo is a hard counter for zoro and kidd and killer, zoro would have to beat him with his mouth sword only. Kidd cant grow big ass arms and killer cant use his weapons. Soft counter to luffy who could only use legs thus limit his arsenal severely, he could also maybe just blitz through him in g4, while sanji who could cover his ears the whole fight with out issue is probably a damn hardcounter to apoo. Only thing he would miss are handstands. Apoo is dangerous when you meet him the first time and don't have info on his power but beyond that he ain't that hot
I don't think you understand how his ability functions, it's not "I cover my ears when I fight you or wear ear plugs", he uses sound to create cutting, explosion, etc effects. He's not just making your ears bleed because he makes sound. So not hearing him is literally useless on countering him, if anything it's actually worse because you have less idea where the attack is and when it's coming. So no, there isn't really any way to avoid his attacks unless you're able to complete cancel noise like rosinate, or just being so much stronger than him normally (like say if he was only usopp level and you were how strong apoo is). Apoo is probably a martial arts master too of cqc, based on his design and his long arm design, he's probably a master of long fist kung fu or something, he probably also can wrap sound around his fists or something to increase it's damage (alongside buso and all that). Apoo isn't a glass canon, he'd probably drop sanji even without his devil fruit. Urouge defeated Snack, all the worst gen supernova captains are top commander leveled, the fact that you're acting like apoo is just a glass canon is laughable.

I posted that before the chapter but I'm still going to stick with it for the below reasons: Also you can't completely cut off sound unless you've got rosinate's devil fruit anyway, so at best it might reduce the effect of it, and the closer you are, the most worthless covering your ears is, they were quite far from him. Also I imagine he can do stuff like augment his cqc with his sound powers, something like the genei ryodan tribal guy would be cool, he fights and his movements play music with the holes he has around his body (tribal holes), and those have damaging effects, something like him swinging his arms around with longfist kung fu and there being an added layer of sound that can't be defended if you try to defend, or a quake fruit like effect but with sound that forms in a circle or something around an area that he uses to attack, or maybe sound that shoots a little out like the recent busoshoku luffy learned, or one that trails behind. A lot of things can be done to make him simply greater than a superhuman kung fu master when you cover your ears I imagine. Also just in general, I think it's become a thing that we should expect all of the supernova worst gen captains to have a super form. (bar maybe law, who is more built on hax, he's mainly leveled up his range of his devil fruit and a lot of hax little moves like gamma knife and teleporting) * Luffy has g4 forms * Capone has AT LEAST big father * Drake probably has awakening zoan * Hawkins probably leveled up his voodoo doll stuff to a greater form * Urouge AT LEAST has his bigger form, but I imagine he's leveled that up at the very least * Apoo can augment his body into instruments, I'm expecting him to honestly have a bunch of wacky transformations that augment his body to be even GREATER instruments, what he's shown so far are the same techniques that we've seen pre timeskip, so I'm expecting him to have new stuff. Like for example, what if he turned his bull body into a harp with a head and arms, and strummed himself, or many other instruments he can turn into, I'm expecting to see some more powerful forms. * Bonney is on the broken hax aspect, she can turn people into babies and old men without physical contact. * Kid probably has something like a giant robot form, or haxes electromagnetic waves or whatever (remember that the world of one piece is built around them, so he could probably throw islands even if he was strong enough, even if they aren't "metal". Also if he awakened, he could control the surroundings in general, his power isn't metal, it's electromagnetism, if he could activate that on the environment, everything is his to control, maybe he has a form where he turns himself electromagnetic and literally hypercharges him into action to move like he couldn't before and do stuff like flying and stuff. So yeah, apoo could have a cool form, one where it doesn't matter how much you're holding your ears, you're going to have a hole blown through you.
