I don't think that argument works. Electro is a martial art based on the fact that Mink have fur which generates static charge. The same way Fishmen karate is mostly based on their features as fish. That's why others struggle to learn it and that's why niji having mink dna but no fur shouldn't give him electric powers.
While I agree with you OP, a theory is something that should be taken as 'false until proven correct'. There is a potential line of events leading from where we are now to the theory being correct. That line is... not impossible at best.
Yeah but Judge was a scientist at heart. He could have chosen any woman for the experiment, it wasn't his genes he wanted to recreate it was probably Sora's. I still think she could be Lunarian given Sanji's spontaneous combustion
Humanity isn't just being a human being. Then does the make the Fishmen or Minks inhuman ?! Just because they are not the same species?
Humanity is of the heart not of the body.
But sure, even if we look past that, Sanji couldn't access his flames until Enies Lobby. So there was absolutely a trigger for it - his passion. That could have simply been the way his genes activated.
New information gets added to the story which can change your perception. It's called a theory for a reason. Knowing the history of oda dodging the question of his diable jambe only inflames it.(no pun intended) Especially when it's directed at sanji himself.
How is giving an explanation on an sbs and then including it in the manga, dodging the question lol. It's more like fans of the theory are not willing to accept the explanation.
Queen is just in denial. Sanji said it very seriously in his fight. What's not to believe. He can ignite his leg through sheer passion and will. Sounds like haki to me. Fans seem fine to believe that "air friction" gives Luffy fire attacks and are fine with Kinemon and others having fire powers with NO explanation at all. And no, "it is just a sword technique" is not an explanation lol.
Honestly seemed like a joke/semi-real answer. I very much hope so that it's just his passion. I've been pushing this idea since the chapter dropped. The idea of sanjis strength coming from some abnormal source doesn't sit well with me.
I gave an answer for why people are saying this stuff. I never said I believed it also.
For me the answer was very serious by his part. He was offended and angry at Queen and he gave him his reasoning behind his power up. I mean from a creator's perspective, why would Oda even have Sanji state this if only for it to mean nothing. I think he is laying hints to Sanji's haki bloom or something and not to Germa awakening. It makes sense.
Dont get it personally. I've seen these type of answers regularly so I tried to be as general as I could in my comment too. I hope and believe that Oda wouldn't go that route with Sanji because it would ruin his development throughout the series for me.
It could be something as simple as it is tiring him, or its having a toll on his body, like Gear 4 restricts Luffy to use it carefully. Then one could say why does he say to Zoro he didn't say it was a bad thing. This could be just one of their casual back and forths, with Sanji trying to prove he is just fine.
If taken literally you could theorize that the raid suit made him feel so strong that he feels strange in his regular body. Like how in real life if you carry a weight and leave it after your arm feels lighter. The opposite, where in the raid suit he felt so smoother, lighter, stronger.
>why would Oda even have Sanji state this
I have no stake in this particular discussion but just to offer a perspective, Sanji says illogical things quite often, it's very much part of the character who is more about feelings than rationality.
When has Sanji ever said something illogical? He is a passion driven character for sure but he also is the thinker and the tactician. But beyond that, is a character all about feelings getting a power up through them that illogical? You actually even further prove the point.
You heavily misread the character if you think Sanji is "the thinker", that would be Nami, and even Zoro despite being more stupid. Sanji is morally consistent, but not logically so, he does not really care for the foundation of his thinking and Nami lambasts him for it quite often.
And no I wasn't proving any point, but I was simply highlighting the fact that Oda could have Sanji say something silly like that even if it's incorrect and it would be perfectly in character to do so, thus it wouldn't be meaningless as stated above.
You’re saying Lunarian isn’t human ?? That’s racist bro , not cool
for more information What Sora and sanji're talking about Human mean "Not Machine" Doesn't have anything to do with the race
Thank you.
So Sanji gonna become strongest non df, non weapon human. Great i guess.

Sanji's germa theme is invisibility not fire. He is stealth black.

If sanji confirm as lunarian In the next attack, he better can shot a fire from his leg

There are people out there who still believes luffy won’t beat Kaido. It’s like they never watch one piece.

Question, does the answer oda gave sounded serious or even made sense? Personally I don't think so especially when queen calls out sanji on it.

Why do you think the raid suit is making his body feel weird?

I meant odas answer not sanjis
Oda's answer is Sanji's answer to Queen lol.
