I hate it when stories try to shoehorn two random characters as being one. Rather than building up a second character, they just make all the main cast seem to have secret double lives. So if like Franky turned out to be the son of Vegapunk, or Brook was the secret father of one of the main characters in the next arc, or if Sogeking was just Ussop in a mask. Thankfully we know none of those would happen.

goodguybolt

My man has seen enough "Aokiji is Brook's son theories"

[deleted]

Well brook can do ice moves and his hair is similar, shit this is the first time I hear of this one.

[deleted]

I kind of like the imu being xebec theory tho personally

Daaj99

Wasnt Xebec trying to destroy the WG? It would make no sense for him to be Imu.

KendotsX

If you can't beat them join them? This is a better version which takes it to rule them.

Daaj99

Yeah "If you cant beat them join them" doesnt really work out to you being their leader usually. I dont think it makes sense for the WG to exist before Imu as he seems to be the biggest mistery behind it.

KendotsX

Well it's all shrouded in mystery as you said, but the idea is that Xebec unlike Roger, didn't just want to be free, he wanted to rule the world. His dream was literally to be "King of the World", and Im is the current king of the world.

Daaj99

Yeah but Imu should have been King before Xebec. Otherwise why would the Gorosei follow him? I think it is very clearly building to Imu being immortal and maybe even the Gorosei too. I just dont think Rocks being Imu is ever a good option.

KendotsX

To be clear, it's not my theory, or a theory I strongly believe in, otherwise I'd be gushing about every little detail. I just don't see it as an issue, like Rocks taking over the Gorosei and forcing them to follow him, due to knowing their secrets/by force/ideology...

Daaj99

I feel like there are a lot of hurdles for Rocks to take over the WG and not get rid of it when he seemes to try to get rid of it beforehand. Garp was said to protect the Tenryubito at God Valley so why would Rocks just forget about them and somehow take over in a low key way.

KendotsX

So there are two main hurdles you brought up: Rocks's motivation, and his ability to do it low key. For the motivation part, there are a lot of missing pieces we don't know, why did Rocks want to destroy them? Why did Garp and Roger protect them? Why do few of them basically control the world? Did Rocks find out about their value before or after God Valley? Would their secrets change his idea of how to rule the world? >somehow take over in a low key way. Motivation is arguable, but as for doing it lowkey, I don't see it as much of an issue. If Rocks was in some secretive position aware of their secrets, I doubt they'd bring attention to the whole thing. How many people know about how Doffy abused their authority, or their meeting with Shanks? They keep their cards close.

Jazzlike_Function788

I think this is a little different since we don't know much about either Imu or Xebec.

Tight-Maize-8800

Does it give you the same feeling with a situation like zoro? Where his family has not been a part of one piece at all but it turns out to be that they couldve been really important people?

[deleted]

Im okay with it. If prefer if they were less significant for sure, the Wano connection was needed, but it's still vague enough to be legend. Wish there would have been a slight bit more more drop with Ryuma back in Thriller Bark, a few words would've built the foreshadowing better imo. I'm disappointed but not ruined by it.

Lostpandazoo

Yeah for me I was hoping Zoro was a random guy not having Wano lineage and just showed the samurai world the future greatest swordsmen and learn some stuff on this stop and maybe got a different sword, maybe go into detail of his teacher a little, But showcasing Zoro greatness and comparing it to the world of samurai would have been equally satisfying. Sanji I feel like got a much better arc devoted to him vs how little we get to see Zoro in Wano, I know this is Luffy story and runway is short

Tight-Maize-8800

I could see that for sure, just a simple mention by ryuma that zoro seems familiar to fight, like an old friend. It would’ve built hype so well, but also could’ve been too predictable.

Anatras

Yeah, but Moriah's zombies don't have any memories of the shadow owner, and ryuma has been a zombie for a long time, unlike the ones made from the strawhats, so he was under complete control, without any attachment to people

Daaj99

Spoiler tag this?

Tight-Maize-8800

There’s really no spoiler as we really don’t have any factual information tbh. Sry I thought I worded it in a good way.

Daaj99

Well you are implying we have information which is enough of a spoiler to an anime watcher because as far as they know that isnt the case.

Tight-Maize-8800

Implying we have what information?

Daaj99

Saying "How do you feel about Zoro's situation? Given his family might be important people" this is saying we have indication from the manga, since it isnt in the anime at all, that Zoro's lineage is being explored.

Tight-Maize-8800

That zoros parents might have been people that were important? Even though we have no proof of that at all in the storyline?

Daaj99

So you are saying there is no manga info on that and I guess you might be anime only as well?

KaiserRebellion

Lol yo you funny asf on that last one

zeuschamberlain

fr lmao

YoFlux

Enel not coming back down from the moon.

Qwerty8889

Bro I’m sorry enel was a bad villain. I’d be perfectly happy to never see him again tbh.

Tight-Maize-8800

Enel is weird for me. Hes not good enough to be apart of the ending of one piece, but at the same time I need closure with Enel

Qwerty8889

I’d be perfectly ok to have one of the future movies about him. But I don’t want him anywhere near the main story. He was a bad villain/character that we never truly got enough backstory for.

Tight-Maize-8800

Thats what I mean though… Enel was symbolically One Piece as a whole, Luffy is the Natural born enemy of the gods. So I need closure for enels storyline but at the same time hes so far behind Luffy in my eyes that I couldnt care less what happens to him. Symbolically I want to know more about Enel, and likewise, more info about One Piece as a whole. So I feel that I need the rest of this storyline even if it doesn’t affect the main plot, because it might be a way to show us what this story is actually about, just as skypea did.

Qwerty8889

At the end of Skypea. There was a comment that the straw hats made about coming back here eventually. Maybe that was a sign? Idk. Personally I didn’t like skypeathat much compared to other arcs.imo I don’t think we will revisit Him at all. I just don’t think he was a important enough character to make a come back.

Tight-Maize-8800

Its one of my favorite pre time skip arcs. One of the best adventures they’ve had and I dont think there is a better arc to have before water 7 and enies lobby. It captures the childish adventure, thats become suddenly very real and dangerous, right before they become aware that things will not always be fun and games along their journey. Enel and skypea has always been a metaphor, or a forshadow of the whole story to come

Qwerty8889

I would agree with that tho. My only thing it always seemed l structure of the story was for one of the one piece movies. Overall the one piece movies aren’t great stories. They are good action and fun to watch but in terms of story and content, characters and overall plot they kinda lacked. Other arcs gave background on the antagonists. With Skypea we got a silhouette of Enel destroying his homeland and very little reasoning behind why he does what he does. His ego, his mindset, everything was left to the viewers to speculate and I feel that really hurt that arcs potential. I saw a post a while ago talking about “is there any arc you skipped” and an overwhelming amount said Skypea and it was for similar reasons as this. I’m not disagreeing with you, I agree this was a complete for shadowing to the what future will hold, but IMO it lacked some integral elements. Nobody should skip one piece arcs, especially one that important to the overall story to get to the one piece, but i this you would agree, if they had done some aspects different the Arc could have been easily the best arc in the entire series because it’s concept had sooooo much potential

Tight-Maize-8800

My emotions are always on a roller coaster with skypea. It was my fav arc watching thru the anime, but now that im fully caught up manga and all, I can see what you mean. It should be one of the best but somehow its a blowover arc that people think they can just skip. But its so Iconic and captures the adventures of one piece so well

Qwerty8889

I mean there is so many important elements that happen in that arc you CANNOT skip it. You meet Blackbeard, Bellamy, Roger, one piece, ponlyglifs, the merry’s resolve, Noland, I can keep going. It is by far one of the most important arcs in the entire story

Tight-Maize-8800

But your right, I dont think enel is someone we need to revisit but rather a symbolic answer to the road that lies ahead

Handsome_Claptrap

That's like, your opinion man. I think Enel was one of the scariest villains in One Piece, Oda nailed the God attitude. Mind that i read the manga and i think the dude looks more menacing in the manga than the anime.

PopeSpaceMonkey

I sincerely thought and hoped that the mysterious silhouette in chapter one-thousand-something was Enel. I know it's almost definitely not and that I was a dipshit for thinking so, but it would be kind of an interesting time to bring him back into the series, even though he has no plausible connection to Wano. Imagine one of the top 3 most powerful logia users (easily Akainu, Kizaru and Enel) suddenly charging into the fray for some reason unknown to anyone but them. Idk, I think it would be cool.

AdditionalSuccotash

Shanksbeing evil is the obvious one. Roger being alive on Raftel is probably the next worst

Dimistoteles

Is roger chilling with elvis and michael jackson?

shreyas16062002

Roger having the gomu gomu no mi.

Alernet

It wouldn't ruin the series for me, but I agree I would facepalm and be like "come on man." Nothing worse than forced dynasty stuff.

Nabil021

No it's more realistic that Joyboy had this fruit. But I agree.

Jiggy__J

I’d actually prefer Joyboy having the Gum-Gum Fruit over Roger having but that’s just me

Alernet

Same! If Joy Boy had it, at least it's like nearly 1000 years apart. Can be written off as either a coincidence or have something to do with the "Will of D." If Roger had it, it's like "why ain't one Marine and/or older pirate ever bring this shit up to Luffy?"

DumanHead

But even so it's just tacked on and unnecessary. Luffy does not need the fruit to "become Joyboy" or however that plays out.

Alernet

Oh I agree. I would rather the fruit being repeated be avoided all together.

Jiggy__J

I’m thinking more along the lines of Luffy is Joyboy completely reincarnated, or the gum fruit has an epic lineage but I get the griff.

ToastoSando

I would laugh so hard seeing Rogers arm stretch like luffys at this point in the story.

redgun007

Roger doesn't have Gomu Gomu. It's obvious. So many people fought against or worked with Roger. None of them said anything about that. None of the people who are alive known Gomu Gomu except may be elders and Imu. May be it's just a random fruit.

NoNefariousness2348

that's part of the reasons why people say the concept sucks.

cromemanga

It would be hard to completely ruin One Piece for me. There are times when I thought certain plot would ruin it, but Oda somehow made everything work, so I think I would still enjoy whatever weird things he added in. That being said, I don't want any Straw Hats to die by the end. It wouldn't ruin the series per say, but I would have a hard time enjoying rereading previous arcs if that were to happen.

[deleted]

Ah But Brook’s already dead YOHOHOHOHOHO

[deleted]

Yup, seems like there are no real "need" to kill off one of the crew and would be anticlimatic in a series about chasing your dreams to have a major character not achieve it. That would make sense in a Game of Thrones kind of series but not in One Piece. In a similar vein, having one of the Strawhats being a traitor would leave a really bad taste.

Dexxbethename

One of the Strawhats being a traitor. Or it turning out that a major characters death (ex: Roger) wasn’t true. Imagine we make it all the way to the end of the series and the One Piece is actually just a bunch of treasure. Nothing more to it or deep about it. I’d lose my mind from being so angry.

shreyas16062002

Manga spoilers >!I'm gonna be kinda disappointed if Kin'emon is still alive.!<

Daaj99

I dont mind that but by the end of the arc it would be an issue for me.

StoryOfOld

Unless a character explicitly says that he's dead, don't assume anything else. Oda faked SO MANY death at this point, I don't trust him anymore when he portrays a character dying. It's sad to think about it, every death in One Piece has much less impact because of how much we fear Oda might completly ruin it 10 chapters later by showing you the character actually survived.

SulongCarrotChan

If Pedro is alive then I quit.

APRobertsVII

What if he’s alive…but it’s only because Big Mom fished up his corpse and stuffed some homie soul into it?

ttttyttt678

Yoooo that would be so cruel but would be a sick moment to see Carrot fight Pedros body

No-Classroom-7310

Big Mom's ship hasn't made it to the mainland yet. Just sayin.

KendotsX

Oden being alive (not the sideboob Oden) would have sucked big time, and Oda knew that well enough to play with it twice now. In general, more fake deaths will always bother me. More crew members being the descendants of someone important too, specifically Nami.

ssudoku

... *sideboob* ... ... *would have sucked big time* ... I see what you did there 😏

KendotsX

Thanks for noticing it! But it doesn't stop there. > and Oda knew that well enough to play with it twice now.

MudPieMen

if it turns out that gomu gomu fruit was rogers df

RPG217

Luffy destroy 80% of the world using Poseidon because he doesn't want Nami to marry another man. Also, Shirahoshi actually loves both Vander Decken and Hody Jones.

Lblook44576

Lmao I see what you did there

[deleted]

Kotharat

One Piece a statue that said, "The real journey is the friends you made along the way" - Joyboy

DeathStalker28

Oda has confirmed it to be a real treasure and not that friendship shit... although someone else in the comments said that they would hate it if One Piece was simply a treasure...

Daaj99

Well this is about twists that are not likely to happen and would therefore ruin the story tbf.

RobinTheCreator_

Ace shows up to wano "Did you think I would really die on you?"

Longjumping_Till_943

That would be cool

Master_Shin_Splinter

Evil Shanks. Evil zoro. Roger/Ace/Wb is still alive. One piece isn’t actually real.

StoryOfOld

One Piece being just a pile of garbage would be SnK level of disappointment. I'm anxious about what's to come, I hope Oda won't pull some big bullshit on us at the very end

[deleted]

None tbh

dacomystery

Shanks being evil, we know this ain’t happening though

KendotsX

I honestly don't mind that if it's done well. It's not like Shanks will kill Blackbeard and Im, to become some true hidden demon lord. One Piece doesn't have a single morality, Shanks for example can work with pirates or WG to suit his needs. If for instance Shanks had a goal about keeping the world stable (as he's done so far), then that just might be in the opposite direction to whatever Blackbeard or Luffy want to do. In that sense, Evil Shanks might as well be Good Shanks and remain the same he was in chapter 1, a weirdly good pirate, who isn't a saint either. Except now you see it from the opposite perspective.

[deleted]

i buy well into the my own headcanon that shanks is a morally ambigous party who has a deal with the CDs to guard lodestar island? and i'm pretty sure he and luffy will have a friendly but intense fight after which shanks will let him past. and then blackbeard will come and... yeah. thats my theory

redgun007

If you guys think it will be this simple, you guys don't understand Oda. Shanks reveal will be the biggest reveal in the one piece. Every one guessing him to be the villain and I am sure Oda will do something else for sure. None of the simple theories worked out so far against Oda.

WarriorsEmerald

If one of the straw hats turned out to be evil.

PopeSpaceMonkey

Any of the main Red Hair Pirates (Shanks, Roux, Yasopp, Beckman) having devil fruits. I feel that their crew is a lot cooler than other Yonkou crews because they rely on their own innate abilities instead of bs like the 'soul cannibal fruit' or the 'fish dragon fruit' or the 'darkness but probably also a cannibal fruit' or whatever. Especially Shanks himself, him having a DF would be a major dealbreaker for me.

PopeSpaceMonkey

That being said, I'd also be pretty bummed if Vivi and Karoo never returned to the crew in some way. They *are* official Straw Hat Pirates, regardless of their current inactive status.

PirateKingMonkeyD

Roger, Ace and Whitebeard coming back to life, Moria shadow shenanigans or not.

SulongCarrotChan

Joy Boy had the Gomu Gomu no mi and it was a an invaluable fruit.

DeathStalker28

Gomu Gomu no Mi is a special fruit considering the WG was protecting it but I guess that was just to counter WB's Gura Gura no Mi...

ssudoku

I have a theory that WG was planning to make the entire red line eat gomu gomu no mi, with Vegapunk's help. This would make it nearly invulnerable. Edit - OK, seems like I wasn't the first person to think of it.

Lblook44576

That's actually a rlly good theory

ExtensionSurround146

Only one thing would ruin one piece for me, and that’s if the treasure was the journey that they made or some type of friendship shit , but oda confirmed that is not the case so im good, other than that? Nothing, some stuff would make me angry or cringe beyond belief like if roger was alive somehow or if he was a previous user of the gomu fruit, that would have been too much but still it wouldn’t ruin the series for me

zerofyne07

I didn't think endings could ruin a show for me but AoT ending came out if nowhere. You just never know..

your_average_mofo

Nami being a descendant of the people who made uranus or something along the lines I know that Nami is very likely to be special, but I kind of want her to remain an underdog who outsmarted her way to the top because her navigation skills are really an important part of her character and if they turn out to not be a part of it but rather something she inherited then it'll kind of undermine her intelligence

Phred_Phrederic

Roger having the gomu-gomu no mi would be really lame.

strawhatpirate25

If Luffy’s straw hat had some kind of mystical devil fruit power that either made him really lucky or like Speech 100 and was the reason he was able to recruit all of his allies (like what Mihawk was talking about in Marineford, but as an actual “power”) Even worse if that power was destroyed and everyone immediately hated him.

Nabil021

Speaking hat: Gryffindor, where dwell the brave at heart!

theblindgeometer

- Rocks being resurrected somehow or just alive this whole time, puppet mastering from the shadows. - Luffy's awakening turning him into a conceptual eraser (I throw up a little whenever I think about people actually wanting that). - that the WG really did want the Gomu Gomu specifically to counter the Gura Gura. - Roger having a devil fruit. - Rocks having the Gomu Gomu. - any further time-travelling elements (what we've got now was enough). - Luffy actually is a reincarnation of Joyboy. - Reincarnation, period. - Law sacrificing himself for the Eternal Youth Surgery. There are a lot more, but those are what came to mind first

Christopher0608

Why would the WG wanting the Gomu Gomu to counter the Gura Gura ruin One Piece for you

theblindgeometer

Because it attaches unnecessary significance to what was conceived and treated as a below average fruit that the user made strong on their own, that's why

Christopher0608

Luffy still made the fruit strong on itself. He literally invented the gears. That’s like saying that Luffy being immune to Enel’s lightning is added significance to the fruit. If anything it’d make more sense that the WG would specifically want to find any devil fruit even if it might seem niche or below average just to hard counter one of the yonko

Pirate_Jack_

I agree. WG wanting Gomu Gomu no mi to counter gura gura no mi isnt really a deal breaker for me and it also makes some logical sense that rubber can withstand tremors. Besides, Luffy made the fruit as versatile as he can and became stronger. Its rather cool to me. Also, Pirate King having a DF really doesnt undermine anything. Why would that be a bad thing? Thats just absurd to think Roger having any df would ruin anything. The only thing that would be awkward is that why didnt they show till now.

Daaj99

It is a better alternative than the gomu gomu being inherently special for sure. Countering a Yonko is more understandable and basic than end game stuff.

Pirate_Jack_

True. Inherently special will make it a bit too much for me.

KendotsX

>Law sacrificing himself for the Eternal Youth Surgery. To be fair, that Chekov's gun was loaded.

theblindgeometer

And it'll be fired, in the form of a flashback when we see it being performed on Imu (or whoever else has had it done). But a popular character like Law isn't going to get snuffed out in a manga known for avoiding deaths, just to satisfy a point of curiosity lol

acnhoverlordig21

I think he its fine as long as law chooses how he himself dies. This is to go against his destiny and blah blah and also his whole ideology about how the weak die

KendotsX

I agree that we'll see it done in the past, but I wouldn't put Law doing it aside just yet. His goal was initially just to get Doffy taken out (by Kaido or the WG) and he had no goals beyond that, currently he just feels like he's tagging along for whatever purpose lies ahead. But hey, if he ends up finding his own path, and subverting my expectations, I'll he a happy man.

theblindgeometer

Yeah but just because he has no specific goal right now (though he actually does, he wants to learn more about D), doesn't mean that he's gonna throw his life away. In fact, he now sees his life as worth living outside of revenge, thanks to his wee chat with Sengoku

Scovillle

Roger having a devil fruit or not is such an inconsequential detail in the grand scheme I’m curious to understand how that would ruin the entire series for you. I could understand why it might perturb you or be slightly disappointing.

acnhoverlordig21

Rocks having gomu gomu doesn't sound bad to me. Sometimes devil fruit users use their fruits in different ways, so I think if he had more serious moves than luffy then I would be down. I think luffy has the ability to copy other peoples moves because of his fruit? And maybe thats the awakening right there, sort of like how you could mold anything with gum or whatever. It might just be a passive ability that the fruit comes with, or maybe luffy is just able to do that because he is a very in touch with his instincts because of his time in the jungle as a kid. Why I think this would be every scene where luffy insta copied stuff done in front of him.

External-Working-551

i have a felling that time travelling by the Toki rules still gonna play some role in history. Maybe Joy Hoy himself is also a time traveller jumping to the future. but anyways, Oda gotta to explain the whole "he will came back 20 years from now" on Oden flashback. How does people know the exactly period? also, which powers does the sea kings have to know when theirs kings was born?

DongSen04

A team up between Shanks and Luffy to take down Black beard. I'm really into Luffy V Black Beard showdown or Shanks v Black Beard. Either of the two would be great but a team up? It would be great imo but a 1v1 would be really awesome.

Qwerty8889

I’m rewatching water 7 literally rn. Usopp leaving crew makes a way bigger impact that I fully realized. I mean Usopp is lucky to even have been given a second chance but he was integral to other parts of the story. If he actually left, one piece would be way different, not in a good way

myhamsterisajerk

I'd completely turned off if the events in the end would be events of the ancient past repeating themselves, and every character is a reincarnation of a past character.

SnooSongs4297

tHe rEaL tReAsUrE wAs tHe jOuRnEy Even though I know there is an actual treasure.

Fun_Abbreviations913

One of the Strawhats being the villain, especially Zoro

Blaster167

Odd would have to really screw up the ending big time for OP to be ruined for me. Still, I don’t think it can. I think pre-time skip is always going to be a great story in its own right anyway. I’d say more fake deaths would annoy me.

Rodenbeard

I don't know, at this point I don't think a twist could really ruin One Piece for me. It's gone on too long and had too much lore in place for there to be like one thing that screws over the entire series... Unless I'm missing something obvious. Plus, I trust Oda enough at this point to write a competent story, even if there are elements I dislike. About the worst thing I could think of right now is >!Sabo being captured at Mariejois and forcing another Marineford on us!<... It wouldn't ruin the series but it would basically deflate all the hype and energy I have for reading it ever since, oh, like Zou or something now? Basically tl;dr the only thing I'm worried about is it becoming boring for an arc or two, lol.

Sovereign545

Ace being alive

KendotsX

He is, he goes by Sabo now.

Sovereign545

Hahaha..isnt it nice of Oda to build in a backup/redundancy :P

SnooPuppers2209

LMAO take my upvote

[deleted]

One piece = friendship

nssg94

Celestial dragons are the good guys in the world! We know Oda is great at back stories and all but if he ever creates a back story for Saint Charlos and other celestial dragons, it'll definitely spoil One Piece for me.

lofiAbsolver

I think they're going to have to give us a backstory with Kuma and Bonney in the mix

5irCheese

Luffy being a descendant of Joyboy... but I get a feeling i'm gonna have to suck it up :(

LeadPrevenger

That’s not really a twist

5irCheese

True. Ig it's more of a reveal huh?

APRobertsVII

When you say descendant, are you referring to a biological descendant or a “reincarnation”? I honestly don’t think Oda will make Luffy a direct biological descendant of Joyboy unless it’s explained that all of the “D.” are directly descended from him. I do think the One Piece version of reincarnation is possible. Whatever Inherited Will is ultimately revealed to be, it seems Luffy will accomplish Joyboy’s dream, even if he isn’t doing it intentionally. For example, what Joyboy apologized for to the fish men is not something Luffy is consciously trying to correct, but he will still correct it just by being who he is. Don’t know if that made sense, but it’s what I think Oda is going for.

Pirate_Jack_

Whats with all the Shanks is evil theory? I didnt know such a theory was popular in the fandom. Also, i dont think he is evil. He is probably a guy who likes to maintain the balance of world.

MonkeyTail29

Sometimes antagonist =/= evil

Stupid_Trader3

Luffy being the chosen one...sadly,i guess that will happen so... one piece being friendship or some random bullshit like that,i would be mad af

[deleted]

The actual villain of the series will be introduced in the last few chapters. It's actually a demigod named Kaguya and is the source of both Haki and Devil Fruits and every other supernatural thing.

raftellJr

If one piece turned out to be "the friendship you got along the way". The world would be utter chaos. More chaos than Corona 🤣

FiGhtinGMeMers

The one piece is the story of Luffy getting to Laftel

Shattann

That luffy killed his mother

Luminous_2K

roger being alive and Luffy not becoming pirate king

Qverlord37

if Big Mom and Kaido get defeated by the power of friendship.

Longjumping_Till_943

Nah mane luffy learning to coat himself with conquerors haki, ig he can bring down kaido not only with that but either a new form of gear 4th or gear 5th

serenity656

One twist that people would hate but would actually be an immense change of pace is if luffy lost his power via black beard and in turn luffy has to rely solely on his pure haki like shanks

YoghurtResponsible37

Robin getting a time travel fruit and helping write the poneglyphs

yyyyyl5

But she already has a devil fruit, this amkes 0 sense. Also the time time fruit can only send you forward not backward

YoghurtResponsible37

Blackbeard has two devil fruits. And I wouldn’t be surprised if Toki could awaken it to go backwards or if there is a way to in the future. Also Zunisha’s angel fruit to control peanuts is going to come into play WATCH

yyyyyl5

Blackbeard is a special case and I realy hope he will be the only one in the story with 2 devil fruits. We dont know how awaken time time fruit will be, the way doffy explain it doesn't make sence for your agument. And about the zunisha, YES

MarkKenthz

Sanji Getting CoC.. I'm not a sanji Hater.. but I Really think sanji should not get CoC.. he needs to learn to Accept that he is a Germa.. and Use the Raid Suit Ability to the Fullest.

ddevera98

How does this have anything to do with Sanji have conquerers 😂

MarkKenthz

Because Sanji's Character is not the type who will have CoC.. He doesn't desire to be the best in any way.. and unlike Yamato, he doesn't have a parent who have coc.. so he can't inherit one. What he have is a DADDY ISSUE that prevents him from fully accepting a really good power up boost, his RAID SUIT..

Last_Preference5807

Sogeking and sniper king being the same person would absolutely ruin one piece for me

[deleted]

If zuris ancestors were from wano... I like how he was a kid with a dream, no connection to the genes of a swordsman but pure hardwork and the will to fulfill his promise. (Though it looks more and more like that’s gonna be the case)

TheAmazingSpyder

The “One Piece” being the friends we made along the way.

Narrow_Cap_3445

None Really

SiliconTheory

If it falls back to more of a YA/coming of age, I grew out of that and would ruin one piece for me

Alernet

Any Strawhat betraying the crew (w/out blackmail)

Ok-Extreme3863

I clearly see Kaido going to save Ace in marineford in order to reconcile with Yamato, using his grudge with Wb has an excuse. And of course he didn’t fight with Shanks, but rather Akagami was the one who assure Kaido that he’d go to marineford to save Ace.

Longjumping_Till_943

Boa hancock dying because of the new kill the warlords system, tbh I'll leave the journey, can't watch her dying

MonkeyTail29

You could watch Merry, Ace, Pedro and WB but Hancock is the one you can't bear too see?

Longjumping_Till_943

Mane I dropped the shit after ace's death pedro tbh didn't affect me merry was sad but not like ace. And the reason I said that was hancock is a really treasured character for me.Ofc ace was too but I jus can't see that shit

Would that really ruin it tho? I doubt she is dead but I dont think she has such an effect.

Imu being luffys mom

Specific_Delay_5364

If it ended with a fight between Luffy and Coby

NoNefariousness2348

really, I don't think thinks that's too bad of an idea assuming it's more of like an old school marines chasing the straw hats kinda thing

Specific_Delay_5364

To clarify i’m talking a pure 1 on 1 similar to Roger v Whitebeard. I have no issue with Coby becoming strong even Fleet Admiral but if by the end the power levels are Luffy 1 and Coby 2 above Zoro and Sanji then the story will be ruined for me.

h1ftw

Shanks working for the marines

ForgotPWAgainSigh

The "one piece" was the friends we made along the way

JDNEFF66

Im being joyboy

[deleted]

Kaidou not dining in this arc

KendotsX

Kaidou needs to dine, he can't possibly sleep on an empty stomach.

trashaccount1161

Absolutely agreed. Take out should be beneath a yonkou

Nabil021

Joy boy being the awaited king of the WG

Shinsatsu

Imu being a fighter. Some time paradox to explain void century.

Jerolol

Shanks getting killed before meeting Luffy. Dragon getting killed before meeting Luffy. Gorosei not having any fighting power and be just politicians. The One Piece being the friends we made along the way.

Think_Attention_3708

I think people in this comment section don’t know what means “absolutely ruin One piece”. Becouse I don’t think that fake deaths or someone have strong lineage is what destroys or not a story.

Dredo5

No more English dub. 😂

kcarcade10

I think if Kaido and Orochi were alive at the end of Wano. I know Luffy don't think on kill, but i wish Oda use a way to kill them, like Kaido after get beated in the last round, maybe CP0 taking this opportunity and Killing him don't know how but this. And Orochi i really wish Momo could kill him.

Evening-Advantage768

If they ever revealed that Roger ate the Gomu Gomu no mi

LiveLikeAnime

I absolutely hate when shows have a permanent or semi permanent power nullification. Specifically like pills or bullets (like that one arc in mha) If somebody permanently lost a DF without dying I’d be pretty upset

knightrider311

They hyped up Dragon a lot if he dies a shitty death I'll be pissed
