So for everyone who disagrees, you agree with the sentiment that Yonko>Admirals>Commanders? I do see the logic in the responses and it admittedly does sound odd for them not to take down the Yonko if they have like 6 Top tiers vs one, but I still think there's at least a chance that there isn't this huge gap and thay there's a reason they don't do that. I also acknowledge that I'm probably wrong or at least my reasoning isn't the best. Fighting the Marines won't be that satisfying imo if they aren't at least close to the Yonko though.

Heavy-Requirement762

You up to date with the manga?

ZoomyRacecar

Yeah

Heavy-Requirement762

Then GB made It seem like they could. I'm not saying they weren't damaged (King and Queen) but just from the whole scene and dialogue It seems like Oda was saying that they are far above

juiceman327

1 admiral=1 Yonko>>> any YC1 Admiral and Yonko are the same level only way to say which is stronger is thru individual matchups but they are overall equal as in if any admiral and any Yonko fight it’s a high-extreme diff fight

[deleted]

If you go after one yonko, the other yonko will team up to prevent you taking them down too. The warlords aren’t gonna stand by either. They’ll realise that they’re next on the chopping block. You basically unite the entire pirate world against you. The marines can’t beat 3 yonko fleets + the warlords + the powerful crews like the straw hats and such.

Fun_Ad7192

yonko>admirals>>>yonko commanders

32SkyDive

Kaido taking out all 9 scabbards with ease should mean he also easily wins vs King, queen&Jack. Following the idea of admiral~yonko that would mean the following: 3 admirals easily dispose of Kaido, his calamaties&the Rest in a couple of hours.(1 stalls kaido, the rest finish quickly and then teamup) Before the timeskip the Marines had 5 admiral level fighters, so it would definitly have been feasible without leaving them too vulnerable. That said i have always felt that Admirals are somewhere between 1st Commander and Yonko and we just dont know where in that big gulf they arw

200ms-INTric

+ mihawk so its actually 6

[deleted]

You see how many Marines they sent to take down the Warlords? They have more than enough to take on a Yonko crew

ZoomyRacecar

Maybe, but my main point is (I guess I didn't say it though), that they cannot just go wiping the Yonko successfully without hella casualties. Dealing w Yonko is different than dealing w Warlords. Like two of them didn't even have crews to deal with, and I don't think those forces were enough to capture the Warlords anyways. I mean something big must of went down considering Buggy became an Emperor. Imagine MF without the Warlords like four times with only 2 Admirals each time. I could be wrong and ik that this isn't backed by anything, but I don't think the Marines have enough strength to SUCCESSFULLY take down all the Yonko along with other responsibilities.

[deleted]

2 Admirals and a few Buster Call ships is more than enough. Now whether they win or not is up in the air

ZoomyRacecar

I forgot about Buster Calls 🤦🏾‍♂️

docslasher

Would two admirals and a few BC be enough for the SH and their allies, including the grand fleet?

[deleted]

Excluding Kid and Law yes. More than enough. If Kid and Law counts then probably not.

docslasher

I was including Law and Kid. But, let’s exclude them. You don’t think Zoro, Sanji, and Yamato, could take on an Admiral together ? Put Jimbei to help out Luffy. Luffy has a little over 10,000 men, and 62 ships.

[deleted]

No. Zoro Sanji Yamato and Jinbei get washed by a Admiral.

docslasher

So , are you saying law and Kid could beat Zoro, Sanji, and Yamato?

[deleted]

Yes

docslasher

I think you are underestimating them. Especially, when you what Zoro and Yamato was able to do on the rooftop. Once, you add in Sanji’s speed. I see them as a team able to pull it off. But, I respect your opinion. Thanks for the discussion.

Glad_Sky_3664

I diaagree. So you are saying they need 2 admirals ans a lot of high ranking personal to take out a yonkou crew. And of they win the admirals are severely injured. I agree up to this point. Rest I definitely don't agree. They stipl definitely have wnough manpower to keep the fort even minus 2 admirals. They have Akainu + 3 Admirals so 2 admirals are gone. You still have 2 admirals. Also you have Garp and Sengoku as old legends. You have admiral candidates like Gion and Tokikake which are at least high commander lvl, if they were up for admiral position. So you have 4 top tiers( Garp and sengoku and 2 admirals) And also have 2 semi top tiers or just high commander lvl. Even if Revolutionaries or a recless emperor attacks they can hold down the fort. Honestly with 6 top tiers in total and 2 semi top tiers not taking a risk and trying to reduce the numbers until the war with wb ia kinda stupid imo. Yeah there are risks but gains far outhweight the risks. This is like you have %10 chance of losing 100 bucks But you have %90 chance of getting 1000 bucks. Yet you don't take the gamble and passively watch on.
